alright...but I don't think stocking up feeds like this is advisable and secondly I bought my fingerlings at 15 naira, anyways I just hope that I make it at the end

please everyone in the house i just venture into fish farm business and i was able to stock 2000 juveniles in an earthen pond with the help of this wonderful thread and the help of Robonski, excelsior farm, ttalk e.t.c ,please i want to know the estimated cost to feed them to grow out because according to a friend I will be using like 780,000 naira to feed them which I think might be on the high side please help me put mouth abeg,they started with Ranan 2mm,they are now eating aqualis 3mm and they are just 44 days old

Once again I need the help of the experienced gentlemen and ladies to guide me through this issue...In the last two days I have lost seven fishes to an unknown reason, the only physical symptom I see is some of the fishes in the pond are losing their barbels.. The pic attachment shows today's loss..What could be the possible issue (they are 2.5 months old from post fingerlings)

I don't know how big a pond it can aerate but on their site it says its ideal for fish ponds that are over 6 feet long
I don't know how to convert that into pond measurements

gud am. please what do.i.do if i observe dead fishes like 5 in my earthen pond in the morning. sometimes it could be 2. the recent one happened after rainfall so.i guess it could not be poor water.
also, some fishes have poor growth among them while some are big. what do i do. Thanks

The company has still not sent me any useful information on what ingredients to mix to produce feed.
Typical of Nigerian companies, they have pocketed their money and don't give a hoot about aftercare services.

Please does anyone know what I can mix and the correct proportions to feed the fish?

They are currently about 4 months old on aqua line 6mm.

please house, I learnt hatchery from a farmer at ijebu ode, and I did my first trial, though I bought my broodstocks from the local market, weight 500-800g, after spawning I saw movements in the water, then I lost them to pollution but abt 200 survived, which are my first fruits, lol....I cherished them till date,....I did a ph test for my 2nd trial coz my water is acidic abt 5.5-6.5 I was told its not good for the fish that I should use soda ash on the water, I did that but the colouration I got from my ph tester was totally out of range... deep blue...the tester indicates green as safe.. so I didnt use the soda ash for my second trial, and I lost all. I want to get it right this time, my instructor is out of the country, I am determined to get it right, could my stocks be the problem cz I bought them from the local market, or my water ph, if its ph what range is good on them, or could it be sperm quality, a fellow farmer said during rainy season that spawning processes are more difficult cz they experience mortality, please enlighten me,I reside in warri.
