That the ibos are investing in other regions does not reveal their "patriotism" or belief in the Nigerian project. Their moving forth into other regions is borne out of the need to survive. They know that no right thinking Nigerian would come to their region and after their fruitless attempt at secession, the government had lost interest in planting anything in their land for lack of trust and their commitment to the Nigerian project. Ibos are traders and in order to succeed, they have to go to their markets and their markets are not in the east but in the west and the north. Ibos loathe Nigeria but loves its money and that is what you are mistaking for patriotism. An ibo man would do all within and without his means to earn money and that is why he is going about setting up in other regions to make the money by all mean; not because of some stupid belief in one Nigeria!
