lanre2009: Great harvest. Please why did you choose not to stake the vines. can you enlighten us on the advantages of not staking the vines. Also the benefits of staking. Thanks why am not staking the vine is d location in southern parts of d state d stake them because of relatively low amount of rainfall but where I am in Jos east there is high level of rainfall which makes the cucumber plant to spread wide over d farm and it inhibits more water that's why its fatter and bigger than d ones from other parts of the state generally staking doesn't happen in jos east also putting in consideration the amount of time to be spent. Hope it helps my little experience na jejely |
