sir, what is the latest development as regards LAPO'S ONGOING RECRUITMENT?

chinexex: i applied for the I.T/M.I.S position since july 30th. Got a mail aug 10th confirming my application and was told that shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interview by aug 20th which was later postponed to sept 5th but up till now, i'm yet to be called for interview. Have those who applied for I.T/M.I.S position at LAPO been called for interview? Or is it in batches? When will trainning commence? And what are my chances of been recruited? ... . Pls reply. thanks.

i was there today but didnt waste much time as i was heading somewhere. Not really what i expected though as i saw alot of other people submitting same docs. I heard they'll open a firstbank account for u there if u dont have one. I asked a friend abt the coy and he said they r into beverages. I guess it's a marketing job (not sure yet). Any other person who got same text, pls post ur experience here. Thanks

Pls, did anyone receive a text from MCC ltd today about a sales executive job from a top beverage coy?. I was also told to submit my c.v,waec and 2passport photo at 51, isaac john str, fadeyi. Does any have any idea/dealings of the said coy or MCC Ltd?

i received an email from paul egbouke from LAPO today confirming the receipt of my application and that shortlisted applicants will be contacted for interview on 20th Aug. Anyone else got the message too? What are we to expect?

Clemayara: My appliction also reads 'accepted' on the sahara career portal but I havent gotten the mail for the next stage..does one's appliction that's been accepted necessarily qualifies one for shortlisting for the next stage, given my case? I suppose some people also share same fate with me.......urgent reply needed please.

Learnt it's not easy getting a DBA job in a big firm but i believe anything is possible with God. I just need info and possible places to apply for an oracle dba job (entry level). I'm skilled in other oracle apps like jdeveloper,weblogic,data-modeler,sqlplus etc plus i can perform some operations like installing,backup,recovery,administration,tunning,flashback etc. Pls house, help me out. Thanks. Awaiting ur responses.

the info I got is that out of 33000 applied only 1000 has been invited for aptitude test
and it has been hadle by consultant that is NEXTZON

there is going to be 2nd batch but dont know when.
hope that helps to calm down those that haven't been invited including myself.
keep hoping and expecting to receive the invitation.

if the 1st batch comprise only 1000. How many more batches will there be to cover up for the remaining 32,000 candidates? I'm yet to get the invite too but i applied via the email address provided by nexton during the job advert.

@obasijoy, as we speak, ivs for the test have been sent to some applicants in ph via email. The cbn IT test will hold on 30th jun at 89 stadium rd,ph. Hope lagos applicants will receive theirs soon

aribolseg: @all had mine yesterday. Was kinda different from yesterday cos we were called in three's to face 4 men panel. Questions were asked at random. Questions nd procedure were quite similar to nino's post above. Buh just wanna chip in this. Be ursef nd dnt overhype, infact dont hype if u really want it. Seems those guys are scared of loosing ppl to higher rated companies. Over qualification or over skills may not work. To me they aiint looking for a top rated candidates (mayb they dnt see themselve as top rated organisation) but for candidates with little or no working exposure cos of the risk of loosing u on a short run.(If u tell them uve worked in a company, say Mtn nd the likes, they ll immediately rate themselve low nd conclude u wounldnt wanna stay long here. Huh if u tell them Animashaun enterprise or ventures, they re comfortable with that) Summary:: Just keep ur top skills to ursef atleast 4 now.......Well that's my opinion. I could be wrong.... Anyone with a contrary opinion??

@aribolseg, thanks for that forensic analysis. I tot as much on what u said cos based on the questions they asked me i was asked what i do currently and i told them i work with my parent's company they also asked me the name of the company and wondered why i didn't want to remain with them. My answer: i want to be on my own.

Pls those that did their interviews yesterday(friday) should intimate us on the updates of their interview sessions. Any info as to when we can get a feedback from them?

@mauriyn, from ketu, take a bus to onipanu, Enter a BRT/danfo (N120) going to CMS(last bustop). At CMS, enter one of the white danfo going to ADEOLA ODEKU in V.I, stop at IDEJO BUSTOP and cross over to the other side of the road(Elsie femi pearse str is directly opposite IDEJO BUSTOP). Then look for No 3. The Gate has a Diamond Bank Logo on it. Cheers!
