Thank you so much for this information. But please does my passport validity matter here? I intend to renew it immediately but can I still create an EE profile while I work on my passport renewal. With your information above I want to quickly create another profile but the passport expires tmrw. And I hope it won't be a problem if I have yet another ineligible profile. Please advice. Thnx[/ it definitely won't accept an expired passport so what you can do is put any date ahead and edit it once you get your passport . That doesn't pose as a problem. |
Thnx for responding. See below Age:37 5yrs work experience as a software tester in a bank NOC 2283 Bsc Economics in 2001 Family of 5 and I quoted $26,000 IELTS : Listening 6, Reading 7, writing 6.5, speaking 8. I also have ECA from WES. The problem is from your pof. It should be above 26,000. 27,000 should be just fine. I submitted my profile with 23,000( family of 4) And after some weeks, my profile became ineligible. I had to abandon that one and created a new one with 25,000 ( which is meant for family of 5 ) and I've been fine. So adjust the money you will be bringing with you |

50something: NOC 1431 is under the 'C' category meaning they are not eligible for express entry. Your best bet is 1311. Meanwhile can't you claim 1111? That's Financial Auditors and Accountants? Or is that strictly for people in Accounting and Audit Firms? Anyways I think 1311 is ok. |

Eghosa123: From the way the points have been dropping, you should get an ITA soon with 426. You dnt need to withdraw your Profile. You should get an ITA in the next one or two draws. Just start gathering your documents and proof of funds. Your 3years of being a finance officer gives you the maximum point for that category and with a CLB 8 in your IELTS, that is also very good so just give it sometime. 1 Like |

Hi Beem4cupid, pls can you help here cos I am a bit confused. Is there any point really associated with work history of an accompanying spouse. I thought it was just the main applicants work history that matters. The only points I noticed were from my ECA and my IELTS. I put that I have some work experience and also stated it on my personal history. I thought it ddnt matter. Are you saying they will request for reference letter for that? In other words, I should remove it from my work history? Thanks |

dupyshoo:. Sigh of relief!!! Thanks, I just checked and it indeed was awarded in 2008. I never knew that Year of graduation could be different from year of award. Thanks dupy... you are the very best. |

Hi dupyshoo, pls I just noticed something on my husband's ECA now. He graduated in 2006 but on the print out given to him by WES, it shows Year awarded was 2008. I'm thinking it must be an error from WES. Please does this contradict his claim that he graduated in 2006 or is it possible that the degree was awarded a year or two later? We've had this ECA since, I just decided to take a 2nd look at it. Is it a problem? Does he need to get in touch with WES? Thanks for always responding to all our questions. |

temitope06:. Wow!! I thought what was relevant would be the IELTS and the ECA? Please could you throw more light on this because as the accompanying spouse, I ddnt bother with the whole reference letter thing. I assumed it was just for my husband who is the principal applicant. |

Hi guys, please I would like to find out if an accompanying spouse's NOC matters? Is it expected to also fall under 0, A or B especially if the person intends to work in Canada. By the way, it looks like the gurus have gone silent here. Pls we still need you guys. |

peppers:. I would suggest that you try IELTS one more time and give it your best this time. Your age is good, work experience is perfect, with the right scores in IELTS, you are good to go. You could also be looking out for provinces, e.g. Ontario, Sask. I'm sure others will chip in too. All the best .. 1 Like |

My people, please I asked a question earlier but it Ddnt seem to get any attention. Please can we use our debit cards to make payments as much as CAD1500 for OINP, CAD 550 for Processing etc. I'm asking considering the fact that there are limits to how much we can spend daily. Please those that have made such payments, how did you go about it. Thanks |

dupyshoo, pls I need you to help me with this. My husband's passport has expired, but he is in the process of getting another one. They are saying it could take up to 2weeks or 3weeks. My question is, the id column does not recognize his id anymore because it has expired, can I extend? ( we are hoping to get ITA by the next draw) when we eventually get the new passport, can I edit and put in the correct details on the new passport. This particular position is beyond ones control as the passport office keeps claiming they do not have booklets. Please can you advice me. He is the principal applicant. Thanks... boldinc please can you come in here too. |

Good Morning guys, Congrats to those that got ITA and PPR. Please can the gurus help me out here. My international passport has expired and I am in the pool. I have gone for another one, done everything but each time I call, they keep saying they Dnt have booklets on ground and they Dnt know when they will get. Please can I still use my old one and maybe attach an LOE with copy of the processed fee for this new one (I'm quite hopeful that the next ITS won't pass me by). Secondly, does express entry require having a proof of license for your profession. The way it is a requirement for provincial nomination. Thanks. |
