Greetings to everyone. Please my Ontario people,is there anyone living in Oakville here? Pls I would like to know how convenient it is to work in Toronto and live in Oakville? I looked online and the city seems ok for raising kids, I think car insurance seems slightly lower than what you might get in Toronto and Mississauga( not certain about this info). Info online tells me that it will take about 37-40mins to get to Toronto. Biko my people, can I rely on that, then for someone who may not get a car immediately, does it make sense settling in Oakville and working in Toronto. |

Good morning my good people of Canny land. Please pardon my ignorance. I have come across a few pages where people talk about cargo. I would really like to know, what are these things that are being cargoed? Won’t the cost of cargoing be almost equivalent to getting another one over there? I’ve always had this mindset of selling most of ones belongings and probably using the proceeds to get another one in Canada. Biko I wouldn’t mind being educated on the cargo thing. Thank you. 5 Likes |

[quote author=Newmum0615 post=70077589]Nice. I spent exactly 1hr 30mins there. 8am to 9.30am and that was it. I was the only one submitting for PR as at the time I came. Hi Newmum0615, please I would like to confirm the amount you paid at the VSF office. People that live in Lagos and will submit and collect their passports themselves, do they need to pay the courier fee of 8,050? Also, did you submit the vac consent form? Thanks for always being willing to lend a helping hand. cc@balogunsam |

Please how does this sending passport to Accra work? Especially when it comes to getting back your passport? When CIC notifies you that it's ready, what happens? Will it be delivered to your house. Just curious as we are all warming up for PPR. Congrats to all those that received ITA and PPR. |

happymumtobe: Hi dear, congrats on your PPR. Please this is totally off the topic. When you put to bed, will you inform CIC and can your baby still be added to your application or once your passport is stamped, the whole process is over. |

isaleko: Why don't you ask for your writing to be remarked. You will get atleast 7 in it. I think you should consider that rather than going the PNP route. You have to pay CAD300 for it and you are not even sure of getting nominated. Then you can only live in Saaks for some years. PNP application takes a longer time to process. Be patient, have faith and go for a remark. All the best. My bad! I ddnt read well. I'm used to seeing Listening come first so I just assumed the 8 was for listening. You may have to retake IELTS or just be on the look out for Saaks. If you google Saskatchewan PNP you will find all you need to know there. Cheers!! |

glonyx: I logged on to my WES profile one day just to check my details and guess what I saw on the address..an ABA address". I dnt know where the address came up because I am nowhere near ABA. I just jejely corrected the address and when my report was ready, they delivered right at my house within a week and half. I did standard delivery as well. It's possible that report has gone to another address. I would advice you log on and check the address there. |

Hi Dupyshoo, good to have you here. Please I submitted my statement of result in the e-apr reason being that the school made a slight mistake in my name on my certificate. They wrote a "d" instead of a "b". Can statement of result fly? Or should raise a cse and submit my certificate that way explaining my situation. School says it will take sometime for them to reissue another one. I am not the primary applicant but I did ECA to support. Please i'l really need your advice. Thanks |

Hi Zandora, Good to have you here after such a long time. Please I would like to find out one or two things from you. Which city exactly are you at? What's your job description at the bank? And how good is the pay? Hope I'm not asking too much. My experience is in banking as well but I'm thinking of going for nursing when we move. My husband is an Accountant so he definitely has to get all the Canadian Certifications. A lot of people have been telling us Ontario infact Toronto to be precise but an Uncle of ours advised us against it. He says cost of living is too high in Toronto, that it's very hard to save. He suggested a smaller city. I dnt know what is obtainable in these smaller cities? Will one even be able to get something decent. What is the cost of living where you reside? You could just give us an overview of life in Canada. I'm sure one or two people will learn a thing or two from it. Thanks 14 Likes |

Kenth1: Hi, I think the problem might be the amount in the card. Try and increase the amount in the card and it just might work. It happened to me, I had already calculated and converted from Usd to Cad and that was the money I had in my card but when it bounced like twice and the bank told me nothing was wrong. I increased the amount and my payment went through. You should give this a shot. |

Cachez: There are Passport booklets at the moment. It will only cost you more but I think you should visit the nearest Passport Office with a copy of this letter so they can see the urgency as well. You can get your passport in 3days. The others ones I'm sure you can handle. I dnt know how you will prove that you have paid though because 2015 is such a long time. Maybe your bank can come in here. All the best. |

Congrats to the new ITA recipients. Pls guys, can you help me fix this job description. Coordinating month end close activities. Assist in preparing various reports that feed directly into banks' monthly management accounts. Preparing monthly management accounts. Preparing financial statements for both internal and external use. Assisting with the reconciliation of the general ledger and providing schedules and support documents for year end audit. Preparing the bank's annual revenue and expenditure budgets in line with management's yearly strategies. Coding of expense tickets, indicating which accounts to debit and credit. Preparing and maintaining amortization schedules for upfront interest and other related interests. Booking fixed assets and maintaining fixed asset register. Carrying out analytical reviews of the financial statements and preparing reports for investors presentations. Please my people, the owner chose NOC 1111 but I suggested 1311. I thought I should bring it here for other people to analyze. Waiting for responses. Thanks |

Beem4cupid...So if you have tbills you fixed since January and it won't mature till sometime in July, you have the certificate of investment and the bank has also written a reference letter for you for this purpose, you will still have to put in your statement of account? This statement of account I believe should be about 6months. Won't that be too large to be uploaded? |

chi17: I can't quite remember how I sorted this out. But I know you have to log on to job bank account, change the old reference no with the new one you just created, deactivate that account, then I think when you want to activate it again, it will prompt you to change your password, once you change the password, the entire process will be complete. Look I'm not very sure if I got this procedure right. Try to search here for it, cos I got this same info here. You can just use some key words like "Job bank activation" or just words that could pop up such info. Cheers.. |

Hi guys, I have some money fixed with Axa Mansard since January. I intend to use just that as POF. Can that fly? Considering that Axa Mansard isn't a bank rather it is an investment company. They've issued a certificate which states how much was fixed and how long it's fixed for. Can I go ahead and tender it? Please can the gurus help out here. Thanks |
