lol, u enjoyed it. that is so funny.alright, i got u. If i didn't know school was important i would have started skippin', trust me, i have friends who've been skippin' since 9th grade, goin' out to shop, am like wth?? that makes no sense, skippin' school just to go shoppin'. some have even dropped out 'cause they cldn't cope, it's so sad.one is soo addicted to weed, she looks like a toothpick.she long dropped out but idk, i don't follow people, i like to do my own thin'. u know what 4/20 means?? |

awww, thanks for d advice. I know, lol, my momma wld kill me if i skipped, well technically, she'd be mad at me but school can be really borin', trust me. Them teachers and some of d students are so annoyin'. pheww. i can't believe am about to start seein' them again.this summer went by really quick maybe it's 'cause i worked all through, never had fun. Am gon' start seein' students bein' rude to teachers again and teachers kickin' them out of d class. it's funny to watch tho but it's distractin'. |

I'm always tardy to school too but i pass all my classes, at least i didn't skip. But my school be forcin' it for real, how u gon get to school before 7:25, that's just crazy besides i live far and i hate takin' d bus so i gotta wait for my father to drop me off. so am always tardy to school but i still pass tho. I never skipped before but i will if the teacher is not in school or somethin'. |

yeah, boston at downtown. i never been to NY. the prices are d same too, i got a pair of Nikes for $50 too but it was on sale. i think Ny got cheaper stuff than boston, that's what alot of people say. Sneakers are mad expensive here. Am about to come to NY one day.what stupid stuff u did?? |

well, you're right but i really don't blame people for writing "datz, y " etc because this is supposed to be a forum, more or less a chat-room for Nigerians. Nobody likes typing in all those long sentences just so they don't abbreviate.Just like when you are chatting with a friend, you don't really feel the need to write in complete sentences because it's your friend and you should be informal around him/her and not all bougie like c'mon. well, at least u get the hint when someone writes "datz" as you called it.the one you should be talkin' about is when people write in native languages like igbo, yoruba, etc because not everyone understands those native languages but if the person wasn't referring to you, it doesn't affect you so you do not need to comprehend it, now do you??. And talkin' about pidgin, I don't think it has anythin' to do with shortening words because a lot of people especially teenagers who chat or blog like in myspace write words like that, not everyone speaks pidgin,so pidgin has nothing whatsoever to do with shortening words, it's just an urge not to sound too formal. I know i write like that too. I just managed not to while responding to your post but really, nobody has time for all those, it's a forum!! |
