All is not well in the Camp of Hon. Uche Nwosu Campaign team as the IMO State Government has Ordered the Removal Campaign billboards of In the State Capital Owerri.

Our Correspondent who took a tour of the State Capital yesterday noticed signs of "Illegal Billboards, Remove", on Six Billboards of the Son-in-law to the Governor.

It is not yet clear why the Government is targeting the campaign team of Uche Nwosu.

Nine shops belonging to Nigerians based in South Africa were burnt during an attack in Hillbrow, central Johannesburg.

NAN quoted Habib Miller, publicity secretary of the Nigerian union in South Africa, as saying the act was carried out by South Africans.

Miller said the union had informed the Nigerian mission in the country and was expecting response.

The Ekiti State Governor , Ayodele Fayose , whose tenure expired midnight on Monday , said earlier in the day that he would visit the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Tuesday ( today ) with his bedclothes and pillowcase .

Fayose ’ s immunity ends along with his tenure and he has been invited to the headquarters of the EFCC where he will answer to allegations that he received about N1 .3 bn from the Office of the National Security Adviser through the then Minister of State for Defence , Senator Musiliu Obanikoro.

Reports reaching the EASTERN TELEGRAPH has it that the Crisis which engulfed the All Progressives Congress in IMO State has taken on a new dimension as INEC has purportedly issued Hon. Uche Nwosu with certificate of return contrary to a subsisting court order restraining the Commission from recognizing the candidacy of the Son-in-law of Governor Rochas Okorocha

According to Court orders, The only Candidate of the party in IMO State happens to be Senator Hope Uzodinma.

Breaking: FG Drags Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremmadu To Court...

The deputy Senate president, Ike Ekweremadu, and Senator Bassey Akpan, who represents Akwa Ibom north-east senatorial district, have been charged to court by the federal government for allegedly refusing to declare their assets to the special presidential investigation panel for the recovery of public property.

The Punch reports that two separate sets of charges were instituted against the senators on Wednesday, October 10, before Justice John Tsoho of the Federal High Court in Abuja.

However the court reportedly ordered that charges and other accompanying papers be served on the the lawmakers through substituted means by the clerk of the National Assembly.
