A high school teacher got a pleasant surprise from students in his class who decided to make his December a special and memorable one.

The kids contributed money to buy an Apple iPad which they presented to their male teacher in the classroom as his Christmas gift.

A video circulating on the internet captured the moment he was unboxing the gift in front of the entire class.

They packaged the device inside layers of gift boxes and he had to unwrap them one after the other as the students waited anxiously for him to see what they got for him.


When he reached the last box and opened it to see that it was an iPad, the kids clapped in unison as their teacher was left peechless.

Well, this is one way to show respect to a GOAT.

Jaylen Smith was elected the mayor of Earle, Ark., on Tuesday night, becoming the youngest Black mayor in the United States.

Smith, 18, defeated Nemi Matthews Sr. in a runoff election.

Smith had 218 votes, compared to Matthews’ 139, according to election results.

Smith announced his win in a Facebook post, saying ““It’s Time To Build A Better Chapter of Earle, Arkansas.”

Matthews is the superintendent of Earle with more than four decades of experience working in the small Arkansas town, which has a population of under 2,000 people and is situated about 30 miles northwest of Memphis.

The Nigerian Government has launched Africa’s first humanoid ‘Omeife’ to boost Artificial Intelligence (AI) and technological development in Nigeria and Africa.

Director General National Information Technology Development Agency NITDA Kashifu Inuwa who represented the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof. Isa Ali Pantami, who was to serve as proxy for the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, unveiled Omeife in Abuja.

An Abuja-based technology company, Uniccon, built the 6-foot-tall multilingual robot that resembles a human.

The Vice President noted that the federal government would ensure the project's success and urged other stakeholders to support the Omeife project and develop new ones.

Inuwa said: “We are living in an exciting time of advanced technological advancement, where the science fiction of yesterday are becoming the reality in products and services of today,”
