Truth is, Nigeria's oil revenue started declining around 2013/2014 towards the end of Gej tenure. Okonjo-Iweala complained about it then.

Buhari came in a year after and use all his 8 yrs tenure to borrow to keep a deficeit economy afloat with no austerity measures implemented by his govt, and thereafter left huge debt at the end his tenure.

Tinubu policies failed and will continuing falling because it is only focusing on the masses while living govt to continue it's speeding like nothing happened.

Obi's proposed policy of borrowing to save the naira or to keep oil subsidy will be another buhari tenure which will only leave huge national debt at the end for future generation.

Real Solution:
-Drastically cut down on govt spending at all level of govt.
-Abolish the Senate. One legislative house is enough. We need to abolish this bicameralism.
-implement Oronsaye Report.
-Merge states that are not economically viable.
-Increase corporate tax.

With these austerity measures in place, the economy will bounce back in no distance time. Greece implemented some austerities in 2010s when they had economic criss. They are doing well today.

Nigeria's Economy or presidency should be handed to tested and trusted Economists like Okonjo-Iweala or Akinwumi Adesina.

I think all those running for our presidency in recent times are all misfits.

Look let me educate you. The Nigerian military as presently constituted can't solve insurgency problems in the country because these guys engages them in guerrilla warfare. Nigerian soldiers are only good in conventional battle, that's why the succeeded in Liberia and Sierra Leon and flopped with Boko Haram since 2009.

Guerrilla warfare requires lots of intelligence and tactical expertise which the military presently lacks, their best bet is to import mechinaeries from countries with expertise and experience in guerrilla war.

Your Odi suggestion is a joke, it will even fuel the insugency the more because military continuous attack on the masses will provide the ground to easily recruit more foot soldiers for the insugency.
