Yup! That headline beats me just as it beats you too! Hard to believe right?! Female celebrities who are virgins… Hmph! It sparks every iota of skepticism and you cannot but wonder who these celebrities are!

Well, we wouldn’t say we know them personally and can tell if they really are.., but thanks to past interviews and previous reports, we’ve been able to come up with a list of female celebrities who have at some point in their career claimed not to have ever been with a man before. (This is according to them, not us!)

1. ADOKIYE:

Nigerian pop singer, Adokiye in an interview spoke about not being in a relationship and when she was asked about getting intimate with the opposite sex, she said: “Haba, what is a young girl getting laid for, I’m still a virgin”

2. CHIDINMA

During an interview, some years back, she declared she has never been intimate with a man before.
She had reacted to her alleged compromising video scandal in 2013 by maintaining that it wasn’t her that people saw in the video that went viral and that as a matter of fact, she’s still a virgin.

When asked in a Vanguard interview about s-ex and money, which was more important to her in a relationship, the actress said:"I know nothing about s-ex, I’m a virgin. Money is more important to me in a relationship."

4. TOOLZ:

Yes, yes! You’re clamouring that she married now! We know she is too! Durrhh… But the gorgeous media personality deserves an honorary mention as according to her, she kept herself until after her marriage.
The OAP once revealed she’s never been intimate with a man before while answering questions via her Twitter page. She also confessed that one of her hips is artificial.

5. ANNABELLA ZWNYNDILA

Fast rising actress and product of AMBO reality TV show – Adamawa State-born actress, Annabella Zwyndila told whom it may concern that her virginity is still intact despite massive s*xual harassment in the movie industry.
The Adamawa State-born actress even boasts that nothing would make her lose her virginity to another man except her husband.
She revealed this in an interview she granted which was published by the Sun, where she acknowledges the challenges are enormous, but there is no going back on her decision to remain a virgin.

She said:“A role that is supposed to be yours is taken from you because of one or two requests that you can’t meet. So, s*xual harrassment is not only in the movie industry. 6. Lauren Potter & Jamie Brewer

These two amazing ladies were born with down syndrome, and are changing all preconceived notions about what it means to be an actor in Hollywood Lauren Potter was a series regular on the TV show Glee’and in 2011 was appointed to the president’s committee for people with intellectual disabilities. Jamie began taking theater and improv classes as a teenager and has appeared in four seasons of ‘American Horror Story’ and is involved with several non-profit organizations. In 2015, she became the first woman with down syndrome to walk the runway at New York fashion week.

7. Cornel Hrisca-Munn

Born without forearms and having a leg amputated as a baby, Cornel Hrisca-Munn was pulled from a Romanian orphanage and brought over to England. Throughout childhood, Cornel rode in bike-a-thons, swam, and as he got older, developed an interest in music and amazingly taught himself how to play drums and bass. He has garnered many followers and fans in recent years, by posting covers on his youtube channel even attracting the attention of Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer – Chad Smith.

8. Angela Bachiller

Angela Bachiller shook up the political world when in 2013, she became the first person with down syndrome to hold public office and pursue a political career, as she earned a seat on the city council of Valladolid, Spain. Her appointment is seen as an amazingly huge step in the “normalization” of people with this genetic condition and the hope is that Angela will help inspire great change in the field such as many people with down syndrome still being ineligible to vote.

3. Amy Purdy

At just 19-years-old, Amy Purdy, an avid snowboarder, contracted bacterial meningitis and lost her spleen. Kidney function, and both legs. Doctors gave her a 2% chance of survival and placed her into a coma. Two years later, she received a successful kidney transplant and less than three months after that Amy was back on the slopes with prosthetic legs, and never looked back. She is one of the top ranked adaptive snowboarders in the U.S. And a 2014 paralympic bronze medalist. Amy gives motivational talks all around the world, models, and is a co-founder of adaptive action sports which helps disabled individuals get involved in action sports. Amy defied all odds when she flawlessly danced her way to the finals of dancing with the stars in 2014.

4. Aaron “Wheelz” Fotheringham

24-year-old Aaron Fotheringham was born with a spinal condition called Spina bifida, which has left him without feeling in his legs. By age 8, he was bound to a wheelchair full-time. But has never stopped chasing his dreams. He began following his brother to skate parks and became hooked. Using a customized wheelchair. Aaron began to win a few BMX freestyle competitions, and in 2006 landed the first ever wheelchair backflip, and four years later, the first ever double backflip. He has been a coach and mentor to kids with disabilities and continues to tour with the action sports road show nitro circus.

5. Spencer West

At the age of five, Spencer West lost his legs from the pelvis down, due to a genetic disorder. Spencer refused to limit himself and chose to pursue a very active lifestyle. In 2012, he climbed over 19,000 feet to the top of mount Kilimanjaro over seven days traveling on his hands for 80% of the trek and raising over $500,000 for free the children. He has helped build schools in Kenya and India, and is currently involved with several environmental and humanitarian initiatives. Spencer wrote a book about his journey and is a motivational speaker worldwide.

I remember reading that your interview, when you said you use to pick pockets to feed your child or something to that effect. Now, carefully looking at this picture, i noticed Reekado used his elbow to block his left pocket closest to you.

Don Jazzy too not taking any chances, so he used his right elbow to block his pocket too. Korede the Niger State guy, not taking any chance with a Lagosian like Small Doctor, blocked his own two pockets.

So Instagram entertainment platform, Kraks TV, shared a lovely photo (above) of a girl child which had an interesting caption, asking her followers if they’s slap the child for N50m.

While their followers went on about how they’d slap her and even her family, Nigerian rapper, M.I Abaga, who’s a leading advocate against domestic violence on women, followed the train and said he’d even slap her soul.

Now the apparent question is, given the celebrity’s status against the pressing issue in the society, is it right for him to have joined in in the trend which was tricky or he should have used the opportunity to further press that no woman should be a victim of domestic violence?

Should he be overlooked or be condemned?! Is the question on everyone’s lips?
