voted for President Obasanjo, a

Before then, Igbo people supported
Obasanjo against Alex Ekwueme in
the primaries, nobody complain.
We gave President Yar'Adua, a
Northerner, majority votes in the
south east even against our own
Ojukwu who was on the ballot,
problem no dey o.
President Goodluck Jonathan wasn't
an Igbo man, he wasn't from the east,
Igbo votes for him in the East were
undeniable.
Last elections, Atiku, a Northerner,
swept the votes in the South east,
even the SS votes weren't that
decisive.
After all those years of ignoring their
own tribesmen on the ballot, even the
legendary Odumegwu Ojukwu, Igbo
people finally saw Peter Obi and
checked him out and said "ha, this
one is good enough"
That's when suddenly they are being
accused of tribalism. Suddenly it is
now "those people have agenda".
But when we were ignoring our own
back to back agenda no dey, shey?

2. GVR is a Yoruba man.

In order to get legitimacy to your irresponsible tribal claim, you abandon a fellow Yoruba man for another, claiming that your fellow Yoruba man has become an Igbo man by birth and marriage.

Unfortunately you have been completely confused by politicians, who give you peanuts and put you in the line of fire to die on their behalf. No be lack of sense be that?

What yeye youths like you do not know is that Lagos by its nature comprises of Nigerians of various tribes and foreigners. They all are stakeholders and have rights to vote whoever they prefer.

Why have you left the Indians, Lebanese, Hausas who control Agege and Idiaraba? Why have you Muntulas chosen the Igbos for your foolish attacks? The answer simply is inferiority complex and fear of the very poor among you.

While you attack GVR, you forget that most Yorubas will vote for him, just like citizens of other tribes, nations and religion. Sanwo Olu will get votes across too, just like Jandor.

Sanwo Olu who was too proud to attend debates, now has been writing letters, acting various roles as a mechanic, hair stylist and phone fixer. That’s the beauty of democracy. He’s working for it. He has come down from his lofty heights to beg the people for votes. We have gone past the age of agberos hijacking ballot boxes. Even MC Oluomo has been begging Lagosians, of all tribes. He was peacefully defeated in his Oshodi territory. You we be rat dey make noise on Nairaland.

I advice you to be civil on the day. Vote for the candidate of your choice, not on the basis of tribe, but because you believe that he can make Lagos more habitable for all the citizens.
