Isaac93:Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) was started by @captdemuren & I, way back in 2001/2002 – in my dorm room at my University in NY. The reason we used the word “Empire” was because Tunde and I were crazy enough to dream that we could build a company that would eventually become an Empire.. one that would serve as the launching pad for not only my career goals in music, movies and other interests… but one that would also serve as a stepping stone for other talents to become more successful and achieve their goals as well. We started the record label part of it right there in my room, which we relocated to Lagos around Vals day 2008 – and we thank God for guiding and crowning our efforts thus far; we’ve played our little part in helping discover/boost the careers of a number of talents in the Music business (some of your favourite Artists, Producers & Engineers..) and we are forever grateful for the opportunity to live out our dreams by giving others a platform to shine as well. In January of 2017, after 9 years of being in the Nigerian Music Industry, we decided it was time to quietly close the Record Label Arm of our business. Essentially we have restructured our business.. and instead of operating just as a record label, we have expanded and changed our focus a bit… we are now a full fledged Media Agency that focuses on Creative Marketing, Advertising, PR, Brand Events/Activations AND a talent management firm. This switch in focus has been amazing and fulfilling.. behind the scenes, we have been able to impact the launching and marketing of a number of brands and companies the way we did artists.. but even in the talent management side, we are no longer restricted to working with just Music Artistes. We still work with Musicians, but we also work with OAP’s, Actors and are evaluating sports management as well. The goal was always to find talents and brands we believe in, and partner with them to help them become more successful… now we have expanded to do that for more than just the Music business. We are excited about our client portfolio: the corporate brands we rep, as well as the talents. At the moment, our clients are: @djxclusive83, @ebuka, @toolzo, @adesuaetomi, and of course yours truly Mr W. (And a few corporate brands as well) Talk to us for all things Marketing/Advertising/PR/Media/Entertainment. We shoot tvc’s and documentaries just as great as we do music videos. We launch brands and products as well as we have launched Artists. Need some help with your digital marketing? Need an ad campaign? Influencers for your next launch? Finding the right brand ambassadors for your product? We are your one stop shop for the marriage between corporate Africa and Entertainment. For a simple reference, it’s kind of like how Jay went from Rocafella to Roc Nation. Just.. same name, new targets. @theofficialeme_ is our IG page, and for booking any of our clients pls holla at us directly. Grateful for our past, and excited about our future.. this is EME. God bless you all and thanks for the support. |
badinfluence:guy, check the entries from the mcu that made 1 billion. it would soon become the bench mark for a "successful" superhero movie |
100naira:it will shine! aquaman will begin a new phase for the rise of the dceu ![]() |
chrisbaxtian:but before this prophecy of doom comes to past, we shall all witness the rise of the dceu from the ashes ![]() |
I believe that the marvel cinematic universe will bring the fall of the "superhero" subgenre of action movies. The same way the old western movies grew out of fashion, that's the same way the superhero movie will go; and it will be because of the mcu. the bubble is swelling pretty fast. Their movies now gross a billion dollars with ease, it's only a matter of time before fatigue sets in and we get tired of them |
100naira:and the funny thing is that the rights to Spiderman, X-Men and fantastic four were sold off to fox studios when marvel comics was dead broke! the marvel studios acquired by Disney gave us the marvel cinematic universe, and it has been one huge success story. Kelvin feige is a genius, for giving us 10yrs of big screen adaptations of these characters! kudos to him |
Chimatexr3b:Privacy has always been a key feature and popular selling point for the messaging appbWhatsApp. Company co-founder Jan Koum grew up in the Soviet Union under heavy government surveillance, and he promised to keep user data protected after Facebook acquired WhatsApp in 2014. Now, with Koum on the way out, it may be time ditch WhatsApp before that promise leaves with him. According to The New York Times , as detailed by an anonymous Facebook executive, Koum was growing “increasingly concerned” by Facebook’s focus on collecting and selling user data. He attempted to push back where possible, but felt that Facebook’s board of directors “paid lip service to privacy and security concerns he raised.” An engineer at WhatsApp also told the Times that without Koum, the rest of the team worries that Facebook may change the app to track even more data—and, someday, might even drop advertising into the app. In a statement to Lifehacker, WhatsApp said that Facebook is still committed to the privacy and security of the app’s 1.5 billion monthly users—and the app’s useful end-to-end encryption setup. The company also pointed to Mark Zuckerberg’s recent F8 keynote speech, where he called Koum a “tireless advocate for privacy and encryption” and thanked him for helping turn Facebook into the “largest fully encrypted communication network in the world” That said, WhatsApp said it couldn’t comment on the future of the service when it comes to increased data collection or ads. It’s a reasonable stance, given that the company doesn’t want to make a promise now and look terrible if it goes the other direction a few years from now, but the silence isn’t likely to make privacy advocates jump for joy. Facebook already harvests some data from WhatsApp. Without Koum at the helm, it’s possible that could increase—a move that wouldn’t be out of character for the social network, considering that the company’sentire entire entire entire business model hinges on targeted advertising around personal data. If you care enough about your privacy to delete Facebook (or even change the way you use the social network) you may want to ditch WhatsApp as well. If you need a new, more secure messaging app trySignal, or even iMessage for communicating between Apple devices. |
Jaymaestro:Kelvin feige did a marvelous job weaving out the cinematic universe! The truth is, based on conic book history, 90% of the characters in the current mcu pale in comparison with the already established DC comics characters; characters that were well known worldwide. But he brought marvel characters on screen and made a profitable franchise that has broken records. Kelvin feige is a real mastermind! |
Minemrys:yeah! I believe aquaman is gonna be a decent hit |
hello everyone! please I need your assistance. There's an undergraduate course taught to pharmacy students. The course content is relating to issues regarding regulatory standards in pharmacy/drug manufacturing/importation. Issues concerning NAFDAC, SON etc. I believe the name of the course is SAP or something (I can't quite remember). I need to get my hands on a textbook or note of that course. it is very urgent and someone's life depends on it (sounds absurd but it's true). Please, anyone that can send me a soft copy will be rewarded. Thank you. If you have it and you are willing to send it, send me a pm asap. thanks in advance. |
Jaymaestro:yeah! Josh brolin killed it as thanos. he played the role very well |

the role mosquitoes play, other insects can play it too. trust me, they will not be missed if they are eradicated |
Jaymaestro:but you know thanos was a rip-off of darkseid |
neonly:no! you've got it wrong. the mosquito has no ecological value. it is not playing any beneficial role in the niche it occupies. animals that prey on the mosquito, can also prey on other insects. wiping out the mosquito biologically will have little or no consequence to nature. |
Mouthpis:it is difficult because the environment is conducive for them. you can only reduce their population. there are efforts to wipe out disease carry species of mosquitoes (Google "wolbachia in dengue fever eradication" . it can be successful, but the main issue is to prevent environment damage and pollution during the process as in the case of DDT in malaria eradication. |
tuwayz:epic fail! ![]() |
MJBOLT:it's as if you want DC fans to commit suicide ![]() |
oleenahairfood:does it come in different sizes? |
Analee:is there anything in port Harcourt? ![]() |
hulk616: ![]() |
oleenahairfood: |
oops infinity war did not make a billion worldwide in one week! ![]() but they are poised to get that figure this weekend. |
tall2ce:look for accommodation close to where you work |
spenca:the trick with Lagos is transportation. if you earn N60,000 and you spend just 2-5k on transport per month (i.e. N100-N200 per day for a 5 day work week) everything will be peachy |
Tosinex:don't be deceived, the cost of living in Ibadan is not cheap |
Llanthony401:mission accomplished at great cost |
cokhale:I think you have to go to their office at Lekki and physically submit your CV before anything go happen |
Deelaw:the mods are impotent jare! they won't ban them. if you click on report, it will only hide the post from your view, others can still view it |
100naira:but honestly, that time stone is the real cheat! |
Minemrys:GBAM!!! I love this ![]() |

Of what ecological importance is mosquito sef
. it can be successful, but the main issue is to prevent environment damage and pollution during the process as in the case of DDT in malaria eradication.
