so you allowed someone to goad you into posting an interview invite on nairaland. An action that reveals lack of tact and discretion on the part of the person that does it. Please for whatever reason, never try this again. It casts you in poor light and can scuttle your chances of getting the job (most HR personnel and recruiters are on nairaland too, they seriously frown at this). You applied for the job. It is unwise to send a job application without doing basic research on the company first. Now that you got the invite, a simple Google search of the address and the name of the company should suffice (do you even know the company's website? if you don't, why?). Why come to a faceless place to ask people that do not really know better than you? The person that asked you to post the full length of the invite, what makes you feel he knows anything? Do you know if he has ulterior motives for demanding to see it? Please be careful and avoid such traps in the future.

Why am I so unemotional? I mean, nothing hardly interests my fancy. Just this morning, I've received countless 'Yuletide's' greetings from acquaintances and close friends, but I haven't even deemed it fit to return the texts nor the calls. I intentionally rejected two calls from unknown persons who I know were calling to wish me a Merry Christmas. Nothing ever interests me.

I'm not even turned on/elated of the fact that today is Christmas. Seeing people passing by and chanting at the top of their voices 'Eku Odun' or 'Merry/Happy Christmas my sister' really irks me a lot. I wonder what the whole fuss is all about!

I mean, I've just been trying to force myself to reply people who've been disturbing my ears to the ongoing celebration, and in actuality, I don't even mean it.

I remember warning someone yesterday never to wish me anything else I block him. How sad!

Now, the whole summary of my post is, I'm not fun-seeking. I'm too rigid. I'm never elated at any celebration. I don't go to see movies. I hate eateries. The mall scares me. I tell off the few friends I have, but they understand my madness and they keep returning. I hardly get moved if someone is even dying. I always find faults in everything.

Am I mentally deranged or totally normal?
Am I a sadist? Why am I so unemotional? Right now, my mind is filled with strife. I truly agree now and think that I need mental help. I think I'm a psycho.

The system is really messed up, i assume you are currently in a field working which is totally different from what you studied. Sometimes it is luck sometimes it takes guts and hard-boiled will.

But you cannot do it all alone, one way or the other you would eventually need help but incase one doesnt see, he has to make do by himself. What a country we live in.

ehyA! you just got a raw deal. it's not that bad in other places. Their are individuals/organisations out there genuinely interested in filling the skill gap and training the next generation of Nigerian professionals. It's just unfortunate that some unscrupulous people see it as a means to source cheap labour (after an unnecessarily rigourous recruitment process).

I am not really an intern per se, but I am currently underpaid for my educational qualifications. A sacrifice I had to make for the sake of career change. After an MSc in one of the biological sciences, I realized how really screwed up the system is.

The bottom line is that few people are really willing to train new individuals in a particular field of endeavour. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND CAREER ADVANCEMENT. This is the bitter truth.

I saw the reviews on YouTube yesterday and scrolled down to the comments some idiot marvel fans be like... "the movie is full of CGI too unrealistic, should have used real life sharks underwater instead"... awon WEREY!

I had no problem with the CGI (it was expected), the story was just bland and uninspiring, absolutely nothing to pump the adrenaline.

they might never drop it. the publicity for avengers: endgame is fan driven. marvel does not need to do any marketing at all, because the fans are already doing it for them. with people creating trailers of their own and the numerous bloggers creating content concerning the movie, the fans have practically done the work for them.

but seriously, this is just a teaser, as far as I am concerned. the real trailer never drop

they only showed us the title and practically nothing else. I have to give it to marvel. they stuck to their guns and are keeping this movie under wraps. no spoilers, no sneak peek, no action sequences in the trailer. fans will go crazy with anticipation. the frenzy will be out of this world.


I feel for Tony sha! he's all alone. can't wait to see the new suit he'll make for the final battle with thanos
