From basic knowledge, we know "an" is used for words beginning with vowel sounds, like
an aeroplane, an ark, an envelope

However, I often hear people use "an" for words starting with "H" , We know H is a consonant ; so please how correct is this?
I always hear people use the "an" for words starting with "H"
an Hotel, an Handbook etc.

That is suppose to be a grammatical blunder if u ask me, from basic knowledge, but what do I know.

I know we have linguistic experts here... Please, I'll need your input and clarifications on this...

well I agree with some posters here, you use an in from of H when the H is silent and not pronounced in the word

gnld is an acronym for Golden Neo-Life Diamite. it is also known as neolife international. It's a firm that sells healthcare products via a network marketing strategy and offers stupendous rewards if you are successful at selling the products well.

The issue with gnld is that they hoodwink unsuspecting job seekers into joining their network. Sometimes they charge money for "training seminars" and registration before handing you products to sell. GNLD in itself is not fraudulent, but the methods they use in recruiting down lines is very questionable. They advertise for all sorts of positions in companies that do not exist or are constantly changing names. These vacancies they post online eventually turn out to be nothing more than marketing jobs when you attend their "interview/job briefing"

Know Your Product or Service- You can only give what you have, if you don’t know your product well, I wonder how you want to convince me to buy it.
Be Friendly- I have always said that if you cannot smile, you have no business opening a shop.

Say Thank You- That customer that took time to visit your shop or site neglected several others and chose you, you owe him that simple word!
Train Your Staff- Anyone who represents your brand in any capacity should understand the business, its vision, mission, values, culture etc…

Show Respect- They say Customer is king, why not, he pays the bill after all. Do all you can to always make him happy irrespective.

Listen- Your customer is constantly speaking either by body language, word of mouth, her absence and referrals, always listen, it will help your business.
Be Responsive- Never make your customer feel ignored. Always respond to their queries in time.

Ask for Feedback- Feedback is key for any business that will thrive. You can employ different ways to generate feedbacks, it could be questionnaire, you can use customer surveys etc. The key is always ask for feedback.

Use Feedback You Receive– There is no point asking for feedback if you will not convert them to productive use. Find areas to improve in your business. Excellent customer service often comes down to consistently checking in with your customers and making sure they are happy with not only the products and services you’re selling, but also the process of purchasing, ordering, working with you, etc. If you do that successfully, you are on your way to becoming known for providing excellent customer service.
