humility33: If we really push for Anjorin, Olise and Eze with world cup enticement at least we'll get one of them.... for afcon You are alone on that. I have moved on from Eze because we have pushed enough for him. As for Olise, I never really liked him as a solution to our AM position, he is better suited as a CM or on the RW, so I ain't losing sleep over him. Anjorin is the koko for me now |

TheSuperNerd: Ejuke is no bonafide #10. He can slot into the role sometimes in a makeshift role and even as an SS but he is not the player I want executing that role.
He is much better served from the wings especially the LW.
I believe some folks are just drawn to how much nostalgia his dribbling gives them which screams Okocha. Hmmmm, this Ejike boy should better learn to be productive with his dribbles otherwise he would just be another Boufal to the beautiful gamem I'm not sold on him yet. By the way, Chuks might find it a bit hard to supplant Pino, that Villarreal forward seem to have clicked in his absence with Danjuma and Pino the lynch pins |

Beloved3: I wonder what the future holds for Nacho in the national team. He was very poor in the last game and Ejuke came in and immediately made us better.
With Chuks on the horizon to return, Nacho might drop back to the bench. It is a sign of good omen if you had an intelligent coach. Nothing beats super depth when you have a tactical coach, it makes your team unpredictable and your opponents will always be left in your awe as they will never know whats to come. But, Rohr happens |

Humility and someone here said it some days back
Dude might be better than EZE and Olise but people won’t think so because he plays at Russia The way the boy passes ball or releases strikers gives me joy, though it was more of a youth soccer as he hasn't done much yet as a pro soccer player, but he sure looks like a serious AM. I like him, and he looks more grounded than Olise, but for now Eze is still better than them all. Anjorin is more suited to the AM role than Olise, but Olise is a talented kid too. |

Tolulopefinest: Today's lineup. (owngoalnigeria finally leaked it out just now)
3-5-2
Okoye
Awaziem Ekong Balogun
Simon Onyeka Aribo Collins
Iheanacho
Musa Osimhen 3-5-2 against the almighty CAR, just as I predicted few minutes ago, that he would embark on a defensive set up to play to avoid defeat This little preek has really reduced the super eagles to nothing. What would you now play when you meet team like CIV, Senegal, Mali, Algeria and Morocco? |

BascoVanVeli: I kind of agree with u. The first match is always not that good for us for some reason and the fact that they get to play away from our wahala will give them freedom to express themselves. I don't think we even need much changing cos we were not individually bad. I feel we have enough to get an emphatic win. They just won what was basically a world Cup final for them so I expect them to be fat and ready for slaughter. Same thing you said before our second match against South Africa when the mighty record breaker broke our head to head record with SA. Same mentality you had before our second match against Sierra Loeone when the same mighty record breaker broke yet another record of Nigeria giving up a whooping 4goals lead. Here you are again, repeating it after yet another mighty record breaking effort from the almighty record breaker? Don't worry, e go soon clear for una eyes |

If CAR could apply the same tactics as they did in Lagos, this match could end in a goalless draw. Expect no magic from your clueless coach because he will be playing to avoid defeat, as he would be scared to surge forward so that thunder doesn't strike the same place the second time. |

victornoah: Today's scoreline will be 0-5! I mean, CAR 0-5 NGR.
Even though Rhor isn't doing well or, perhaps, as expected; we can't blame it all on him.
Our crop of players seems to perform pretty well in GOOD turfs. We struggle, whether home or aways, when the turf is as good as nothing.
Even with Ndidi, Iwobi, and Chukwueze all in the squad, we couldn't have done any better.
The team's cohesion and dynamism work magically when these guys are balling on a good pitch.
Bring France to play the Super Eagles on that very pitch, even with their starts, they'll still struggle to play good football.
So, guys, let's not blame Rhor too much; we all know he's tactical inept, but still can get the job done on a good turf that allows free flow of football.
Mark my words, today's scoreline is going to be massive! 0-5 and a clean sheet.
Finally, I think we have what it takes to solve the Midfield crises in Ejuke.
A good coach can convert Ejuke into a solid creative Midfielder. The guy has all the attributes of a Midfielder (Pace, Skills, Passing Accuracy, Stamina, and all.) Lol this one is not in touch with reality |

Sometime ago, people were suggesting that he be sent on a refresher course, so that he could do better. For fvcks sake, who does that? Are we running a charity down here, or are we being this soft because he is a white man? Which serious business owner employs unqualified workers with the view of training them with his business money so that they could deliver the services he needed? If you are not qualified, go sort yourself out while the qualified ones do the jobs. Nobody ever suggested sending our indigenous coaches on a refresher course which will benefit the country more, but we wanted to do it(if we didn't do it already) for some foreigner who would walk away some day leaving us to our mess. Overthemoonman: Saka and Tammy scored for England. I think, Fikayo has finally been captied now. I pity for Tammy and Fikayo sha. Their chances of going to world cup is still very slim compared to Saka that has at least 60% chance of making it to world cup. This is stale. Stop crying more than the bereaved. I don't think Rohr can mange our current crop of talents well enough. We need to look for a better coach, fast. When I and a few others started voicing this out because we discovered early enough that the coach was a big time fraud, the shortsighted wereys in here always tried to justify the ineptness of the coach with their usual lines “there are no more minnows in African football” I hope you also saw Ghana versus Zimbabwe shoreline with Molivan Rajevac back as their head coach? |

Napoleon55: Onyeka cannot b trusted for now, this is d kind of flair that mikel agu came with in his first march,n was found out in his subsequent games.
Onyeka is no way near ndidi as far as defensive midfield is concerned in SE for now. in fact we should not try it against any top team. A DM need to do his primary job first b4 showing off. Mikel Agu never had a match half as decent as this throughout his SE career |

Ejuke SEEMS to be the most mature of all our winger forwards. Chuks is my boy, but Ejuke edges him in trickery. Knowing that the team is deficient, a more tactical coach would try Ejike on the AM position, placing Iwobi on the left wing. But our coach na real muuuuu! |

IDENNAA: I have talked about Aribo before here and said he doesn't bring anything to the team but we have some bunch of deluded people who are praise singers for foreign born players. It didn't take long for them to hand the number 10 jersey to him and anointed him Okocha's replacement. The the inferiority in the African man is very deep ,therefore , anything foreign is superior to their own. Modafokas were making excuses for him saying that it was the bad pitches affecting him and they always threw in his flash-in-the-pan performance against Brazil, as a point. Our number 10 ought to be hallowed, but I think the desecration started with the very pompous and over hyped African Guadiola. If Paul Onobi and Gabriel Okechukwu could pull on our no10 shirt, then why not Aribo? |

Well, the loss no pain me sha. Wetin wan shock me after all these years of seeing the SE After the return leg I'd decide if I'm going to invest in printers for banners & placard to kick Rohr out I would print that banner and take it to the stadium if these guys were playing in Enugu. |

Odunayaw: I wonder why Ekong is unstable. I remember Algeria in Afcon saying their coach told them to pressure the CBs because they're jittery.
Lastly, I wonder why players don't make signals or at least scream at one another either in pidgin or one of our languages on what they have in mind & want the other person to do. Awaziem is error prone, but he is more rugged and never jittery. |

charlesemeka85: baba I prefer him on the cm position since we have a capable one in ndidi at the moment
Frank suits African opposition because of his robust and all action style of play
With ndidi sitting deep, frank as the ball carrier and iwobi as the creator our midfield will be balanced against any team in the world
Ndidi is excellent in screening and protecting the back four while frank has the energy and agility to move the ball forward as well as assist ndidi is covering ground, also he is very good in high pressing while iwobi should be the one to link the midfield and the attack
With frank aribo and etebo’s place will be the bench You ain't wrong sha. I just wish he or Alhassan could do it like Algeria's Ismael Bennacer |

charlesemeka85: he had a superb outing but not better than ndidi bro
Onyeka henceforth should be the teams driving force from the midfield cus bobo get energy and strength to burn
Also moving to brentford seem to have polished his game a whole lot. He seems more like a kessie(ac Milan Ivorian midfield enforcer) kind of player now I don't really fancy him as a CM. He is better settled as a DM and he passes and dribbles better than Ndidi |
