You are wrong, though one can never rule out that he learnt a thing or two from him which is rightly so, as his predecessor but Osimhen has always been this physical and mobile. I can recall his games for our youth sides even when he was neither a super eagle nor was ighalo an integral member of our squad. I remember the rescue mission against Lybia at the U23s, I still remember vividly his one on one physical battle with hard tackling Mali’s Abdul Karim Dante(adjudged the most physical player of the 2015 World Cup). Despite osimhen’s thin frame, he owned Dante in that final and came out with a goal and some great efforts that ended up on target. That final alone made me make up my mind on the boy.

I believe the reason many here don’t count sadiq as worthy enough for a chance in the current super eagles set up is because he is playing in the Spanish 2nd tier. My advise to them is to make out time one of the weekends to stream Almeria games to see him play
