Icon4s: My friend, the national team does not play so many matches that a striker will only be waiting for crosses before he delivers. As a striker, there are games you need to boss your way through the defense to make the deference in a game.
A good one from Paul anyways. He has just ensured his name stays within the national team. I no get strength to argue, but you should know that no reasonable coach selects same kinda strikers, otherwise he will find it hard to vary or tweak his tactics at the heat of an encounter. That was what played out today. |

Play to your strikers' strength, otherwise blame yourself when they fall short. Icon4s, I hope you saw what Paul did today, that he had the crosses he always craved for? Told you guys Rohr was the problem, not Paul, but you all kept bashing him. |

Armando Broja when quizzed on his decision to dump England for Albanian:
"It is a big decision, of course, when you choose your country to play for," Broja told Goal. "I went for it because I have got Albanian blood in me, I am Albanian even though I was born and brought up here in England. My parents are Albanian so it was an easy decision."
"I thought I would love to make my people proud and make my parents proud. I wanted to lift Albania up as a country to get us to the World Cup or Euros. That’s the biggest thing for us Albanians."
Anglo Nigerians:-
"I'm English, though my parents were born THERE..., I was born in England " |

komekn: MISINFORMATION
It took barely 18 days for Wilfred Zaha to change allegiance from England and that is after playing senior games for the first team not just youth football.
Add to that England was very reluctant to let him go, there was controversial opposition to his move to Cote De Voire.
But it still only took a mere 3 weeks.
Meanwhile a lot of people here think the problem is the players who were born in the UK. Why should it take years to get Oviemuno Ejaria clearance, a person who committed to Nigeria over 3 + years ago. Or should we talk about Ademola Lookman. Were you not the one that told us that Eze would be turning out for the eagles as soon as he secures a move to the EPL, that you knew every detail and how things were gonna pan out, what happened? |

lloydtruth: Me think we still need him oo. Why do you think we still need him? Playing with an AM will force Iheanacho out of position and we can't afford to keep our best players on the bench. I would rather Olise than Eze because Olise can function as a CM, besides his basic AM position. If we get Eze, he would at best add to our depth on our already saturated LW. So bro, I ain't keen no more on having Eze. You don't know how glad I am that Acho has rediscovered his mojo |

Olulong: No doubt. Another big steal after Koulibaly and Eduard Mendy is Abdou Diallo. I even read that his younger brother who plays for Southampton is considering going to the AFCON with Senegal. Did you know that it doesn't take more than two weeks for those players to get cleared from France to rep any of these francophone countries, unlike England that takes up to 2years to clear a player for the anglophone countries in Africa? |

Olulong: Na both ways. France dey harvest the best dey give them the rest Those so called "rest" being given to them, would all have about 10 England caps(a very big achievement for angloNigerians) each if they they were born in England. Guys like Diallo and Koulibally would even bench every center back England can boast of |

Olulong: Yeah
Doesn't mean they've not benefited a lot from France as well. Koulibaly, Edouard Mendy, Salif Sane, Sabaly, Kamara their third choice keeper, Boulaye Dia who seems to have replaced Niang as their first choice striker as well. The 3 newly invited guys you listed as well
Not to talk of Guys like Keita Balde, Gomis and the Dieng guy who were groomed in Spain,Italy and Switzerland respectively.
They have some exciting young talents tho They made their team and country attractive to these players, same can't be said about us |

andrewbaba44: Na your work I trust you ,Senegal Dey blessed with GKs
If this dieng na naija e go be our first choice straight
Dude is not even a sure 3rd choice for Senegal self and a regular at the championship ,he will have to fight with they Strasbourg guy
Mendy and Gomis are the first 2 choice Bros dem plenty oo, even the ones wey fit no get chance till their career finish dey. They have two quality young goalkeepers in the Serie B, in the Portuguese league, young Mouhamed Mbaye was Porto's second choice before he got injured, he even started a match, thankfully, he is back now, in that same Portuguese league, young Babacar Niasse is the first choice and regular starter for Tondela. When you go to ligue1, their U20 goal keeper Boubacar Fall that just joined St Ettienne few months ago, has already been promoted to the first team and made the third choice goal keeper of the club. Senegal get goal keepers yapa, and none of our goal keepers would make their 23 man squad, it is painful |

Samueltemi337: Nice line up If we had a reasonable coach, then we could bring down any team in Africa using this line up, though at the long run, I would shake it up by replacing Iwobi with Ademola Lookman. Also Maduka should sit for Uzoho. Nice line up

PSG's hard tackling center back Abdou Dialo, Monaco's flying left back Fode Ballo Toure and Leicester's Nampalys Mendy all cleared by FIFA and named in Senegal's squad to face Congo. From the frame below, you can see Dialo already forming some wicked central defensive partnership with Koulibaly Second frame - Dialo and his PSG team mate Gana Gueye in Senegal training gears preparing for the game against Congo
