Paul Onuachu based on his performance so far with eagles doesn't deserve a call up but Desser who I never rate got a call up,possibly based on his performance last season.

If we base it on current season then Onuachu deserve a call up.

Rennes nearing deal for Mendy replacement

Rennes are close to signing Alfred Gomis from Dijon for €16m (£14.5m/$18.5m), L'Equipe reports.

After selling goalkeeper Edouard Mendy(a Senegalese international) to Chelsea, the Champions League hopefuls will sign yet another Senegal international custodian as his replacement.



Funny enough, at Rennes, in the Senegalese order, Eduard Mendy succeeded Abdul Diallo(now Senegal's third choice goalkeeper) after he was sold to a Turkish club, Same Diallo rose from Rennes youth rank to succeed former Senegalese international goalkeeper Cheick Ndiaye.

I didn't take notice of Mendy just recently, I have always loved him right from his Reims days, I was mad Aliu Cisse decided to use Kardim Ndiaye of Horoya at the world cup, neglecting him and Gomis(then of SPAL). I have always known him to be a top talent, I remember when WestHam went all out for him, but failed to secure his signature. You prolly didnt know him until Chelsea showed up

of course he will definitely lose his precision in front of goal because he doesn't play regular football no more.lamarck theory of use and disuse come to mind. Nacho need to leave Leicester and move elsewhere for game time. He can even go on loan. He need a sit down with rodger and demand to be send out on loan cos he want to play but instead he show up to training with smiling face and sit on the bench smiling at everyone. He is still a good player but he need to play!

Iheanacho has that innate talent but he doesn't have that burning desire to get off his comfort zone to take charge of his career. Just look at the growth of a once carpentry forward like Calvert Lewin. Dude is so comfortable with his bench role at Leicester, so you don't expect me to keep rating him highly, should Igboras Moffi and Tolu perform in France and Germany respectful, being contracted to an EPL club is not gonna be enough to get Iheanacho invited to the super eagles.

It is not anyone's fault that you have lost patience with the lad. But allowing your frustrations and blasts from the lad's past (which he no longer lives in) to suddenly make false comments about Nacho's ability all in a bid to sound "unbiased" b'cos you used to talk up Nacho is actually still very wrong b'cos 19/20 season gave us a very solid Nacho who delivered superbly even when playing as a backup forward option to Vardy.

It is on the back of the 2019/2020 season and his very several fine performances that earned his a NT recall. So all this talk below is b'cos you are only letting your personal frustrations get the better of good judgment. Nothing true in all you have said.

Was that necessary? Well, bro I have seen Iheanacho enough, he is not getting any better. I even had to be lenient bkus I love the boy, but the truth must be said. Dude finds it difficult to sort out which foot to control a pass with, hence the ball always get stuck in between his legs. Kelechi is what we call a "turn over machine". Mind you, he is already losing that trait or quality(striking with precision) that once made him an outstanding player.

Don't know where this stemmed from, but honestly, Kelechi Iheanacho is technically deficient and he isn't improving. Dude is getting worse with age.


I doubt he would make our AFCON or world cup list with the array of strikers we have sprouting out, unless he suddenly improves, which is highly unlikely.

Kelechi is one forward I can't quite place his position in the pitch because you can neither use him as a lone striker(poor positioning, poor aerial ability, poor hold up play) nor behind a striker due to his tennis-racket first touch, poor dribbling ability, and he is heavily left footed. Abeg I am done waiting on Iheanacho to improve biko.

The two strikers I have got my eyes on, as back ups to Osimhen.
