First chance of the game, from a corner, falls to Omerou and he messes up what wouldda been a joyous goal if it was an Ajayi that took that header. |

charlesemeka85: When Semi Ajayi scored for West Bromwich Albion yesterday in their 1-1 draw against Leeds United, the 26 year old was not in the know that he has further established himself as the highest goal scoring defender ever in the history of players of the senior national team of Nigeria at club level.
Ajayi has so far scored 19 career goals at club level and that is more than any other Nigerian defender who has played in Europe in the history of Nigerian football. Joseph Yobo is the closest with 13 goals to his name.
Ajayi who is now the first choice centre defence pair for the Super Eagles alongside William Troost-Ekong can easily pass as the most improved Nigerian player last year as he moved from getting dropped for the Africa Cup of Nations to becoming one of the pillars in the team.
At promotion chasing West Brom he has been ever present for the team with his performance earning him as many as six man of the match award following his transfer from relegated Championship side Rotherham United in the summer.
Linked with a move to a team in the English Premier League in the January transfer window, he looks however certain to remain at West Brom where he hope to aid their push for promotion by not just stopping strikers from scoring but also scoring as well.
He has four goals this season from his position as a central defender and the tally makes him the joint sixth highest goal scorer for his team so far after 26 league matches in the English Championship this season. I don't think this is entirely true. Uche Okechukwu scored more than 23goals in Europe as a centre back, also, it is worthy to note that some of Ajayi's goals were scored while he was playing as a midfielder |

tbaba1234: Even when Etebo has been played as AM, what has been his impact in terms of goals and assists?
The mixture of Etebo and Ndidi is like playing with a hand brake, no flow. Two hard workers with limited creativity. Well, Arebo should watch it, he was stinking up the whole place in our last two matches, remember Azeez and Etebo are not here to be restricted to mere bench roles. |

Danielnino00: Its not advisable for players to move in January unless they really need to..
in this case,Balogun Ebuehi and to some extent Iheanacho are the ones badly in need of a move... Etebo already got his own... I av already told u guys never to read deeply into winter transfer speculations. No serious player moves mid season. At best, they get loaned or signed and loaned back to the team they got signed from, till summer. |

Danielnino00: U seem to have forgotten that Etebo started his career as an attacker and that he was renowned for his goalscoring exploits since with the u-23 .. Even with the super eagles,he started out in a free role before Rohr started playing him deep! He was our best midfielder at the world cup and at the AFCON... Etebo is a good box to box midfielder, my major problem with him is that he tends to go mechanical most times, by holding on to the ball and looking for who to wrestle with, instead of giving a simple pass to a free man. Nothing infuriates me than a player that unnecessarily delays passes, the way Etebo does. |

Subzero047: Players are played according to their strengths
Aribo is creative and attacks the box that's why he's given a free role
While Etebo is neither, that's why he's assigned to help Ndidi in defensive duties Did u watch Etebo at Las Palmas? |

charlesemeka85: Serbian side Partizan Belgrade have rejected a bid of 6 million Euros for their 22 year old Nigerian forward Sadiq Umar who is on loan from Italian Serie A side Roma, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Partizan have already made it known to Roma that they will be taken up the option of signing the striker permanently at the end of his loan deal for the agreed sum of €1.6m. A deal they could complete this January if they so wish.
Sadiq who has 16 goals this season with 11 coming in the league and five in the Europa League is the primary target of coach Rudi Garcia of Lyon in this January to strengthen his attack. Garcia gave him his breakthrough at Roma as an 18 year old in 2016.
Lyon’s opening offer of 6 million euros was rejected by Partizan who are keen on keeping him till the summer as he is their only recognised forward at the moment. They also want double the amount that Lyon are offering.
Their demands means Laliga side Real Sociedad are now the odds on favorite to land the lanky forward as they have discussed terms with his representatives over a deal in the summer and not in January. They are reportedly willing to meet Partizan’s valuation of the forward who finished as top scorer for the Nigerian team at Rio 2016. There is no need to rush, he should wait till summer, he will get a better deal |

Roughly translated from google
What kind of player is 23year old Tamuno Sekidika
He played for Benfica and Stoke City's lower age teams and joined Eskisehirspor in the summer of 2018 from the Serbian team Napredak. However, he had to wait 6 months to show his skills because of the transfer ban. 2019 was the year of the Nigerian footballer. Sekidika rose like a elen snowdrop Esk in Eskişehirspor, which spent 2019 in the absence.
24-year-old Sekidika is a player that we can call the ‘modern wing’. In the early stages of his career, Sekidika played on the left wing and folded in. He worked heavily on the right side of the attack in Eskişehirspor. Sekidika had an excellent performance with 8 goals and 2 assists in the half season and had a direct impact on 45% of Eskişehirspor's goals.
Sekidika is very effective with its speed and quick wrists. The bitiricilig. According to OPTA data, Nigerian scored 86% of their net goal positions this season. To understand how abnormal this statistic is, we need to look at the other wings of Galatasaray.
Is Galatasaray useful?
Galatasaray squad is almost entirely static players, if you want to continue the championship race to add dynamism to the game has to make supplements. The transition of the Super League will be the scourge of the heavy defenders of the 23-year-old footballer will perform a set of questions on how the hücumlerini performance.
If we think that Galatasaray will pay a small bonsevis price to Eskişehirspor; Sekidika will be a risk-free and logical investment for Galatasaray.
