komekn: Actually don't think they did any homework on him specifically beyond the fact that the whole of the Ajax team is on another level to Lille.
It's as simple as that. So was the whole of Valencia's team on Chelsea, hence we can't say Valencia did their home work on Tammy. To think that Chelsea played at home and was given a PK |

Brazil vs Senegal
Senegal vs Nigeria
Nigeria vs Brazil |

[b] When we celebrate our rise up the FIFA rankings….enemies of progress question the rationale behind it. This is one of the benefits…Big teams will always wanna play you.
We didnt ask for the Ukraine friendly, the Ukrainian FA looked for us….and what a run did we give the most in- form team in world football at the moment. They themselves know they were just lucky to escape without a home defeat against our young team with an average age of 22.5 years last week.
Now it is almighty Brazil that wants to play us and Senegal, irrespective of the fact that the two nations didn’t win the AFCON, the world still recognizes that these 2 are the best teams in Africa at the moment. FYI, Brazil doesn’t extend friendly invitations to any jack and harry…..they do so to the best in the various continents. Its a matter of policy. If you wanna play them, fine, send your letter to their FA and get ready to part with $1m to start with. So to be invited by Brazil to be a part of their global tour is quite interesting and fantastic, and boy, i’m already looking forward to that game.
Already, our draw against Ukraine “should” be enough to push us into the top 30 zone on the fifa rankings. Another favorable result against Brazil and likely wins against Benin and Lesotho in the ANQ in November should seal our position in that club… and by January, Nigerian players wouldn’t need more than 50-60% national team appearances to be eligible for a work permit in the EPL.[b]

I must be sincere with you, I aint comfortable with this match against Brazil, we shouldda taken things a step at a time. These Brazilians could deflate the little morale our team is trynna assemble so soon. Why not the likes or Denmark, Poland, Italy, Austria, Mexico, Columbia, Uruguay, Chile, Switzerland, Sweden or even a rematch with Croatia? elyte89: Las las dem go beat us 4-nil |

komekn: Double standard and bigotry at work in the NFF.
At what stage of Alex Iwobi career ws he invited to the SE. At what stage stage was Victory Osimhen invited to the SE the same goes for the Nwakali brothers.
Sometimes players are invited to camp to have them checked out and give them a sense that they are valued. Classic example is Walcott and of course our own Dominic Iorfa.
Invitation is not selection but it sets the pathway for a fruitful relationship and sense of belonging. The NFF failed woefully in this regard to create relationship.
Finally, l can tell you that no SE player will divulge the ongoing in the SE in the public domain.
They may tell me but not the media.
I know without a shadow of doubt that with regards to Sone Aluko a particularl bull of a coach demanded he use his agent and take up options in Turkey then he will be recalled to the SE.
There are several other situations but l will not go into that. You never know when virtual turns too reality don't want any legal ⚖ issues. Remind us what u said when the NFF did the bolded with Aina, Maja, Eze, Akpom, Onyedinma et al at the Barnet. |

Joebie: Firstly you said I didnt want to offend komekn. You cannot prove that because I have seemingly offended him several times here when I differed with him, and even made fun of him numerous times as well. . In the light of his earlier post I responded to, the context remained the way Pinnick handled the Tammy matter from the start. My response was simple and brief -- Pinnick no sabi talk. That statement coming from a Warri boy like Komekn is just coming from his frustration. Your statement is clearly different as it is a jab on Waffarians. So I had to clear you on that.. charlesemeka85: Pinnick's administration go the extra mile to reach out to these kids unlike previous administrations who only make contact on phone to this kids through their management team and agents.
Like i say always England and other European countries can't hv them all likewise 9ja. Some will play for us while the Europeans will swoop for those they can convince to rep them. I wouldn't wanna go too deep, but did u know Pinnick went to England to watch Tomori in Stanford Bridge last two weeks? |

charlesemeka85: I don't blame the Tammy debacle on Pinnick. To me he did the right thing but can't force the lad or his parents to accept the offer of playing for us.
Pinnick is not that daft and stupid to announce to the media the positive talk he had with Tammy and his party if something tangible didn't come out from the meeting. The English with their conniving manner swooped in and infiltrated the mind of the boy which made him have a change of heart.
Do you know when Eze was first invited to the English u20 team he turned the offer down and openly told the English FA that he wish to rep Nigeria in international football but with the help of the his clubs management he was persuaded to take the chance with the promise that it will boast his career and value going forward?
It even surfaced online few minutes after he made the pronouncement but qpr management took it off immediately. Ofcus I am aware of the bolded. I was even mad he said that bkus I feared for his career. I wished he kept it to himself and maybe shared it only with the NFF asking dem never to let it get to the media for good. Ejaria and that my Mbaise boy - Eze are willing to answer our calls anytime any day |

Clementoke: So the fault is Amaju's now? Please let's also blame him for the loss of Dele Alli, Agbonlahor, and co Victor Moses and Iwobi are not humans neither do they have careers to protect.
Please get me right
I don't buy this idea of blaming one person for Tammy Abraham personal decision (which I believe he pondered on and carefully arrived at)
Was the Nigerian media silent about our pursuit of Iwobi and Moses before we finally got them?
It's his career. We can only wish him all the best as a British with Nigerian descent. That's all.
Dominic Iorfa that wanted to guide his career jealously, we all know where it landed him. U get time bro |
