He connects defence to attack and he makes his share of passes. I feel those are most important because he gives his guys the platform to play their football.
I can't argue that, he really knows how to get the ball from his defense to the midfield, then attack, but those killer passes that split open their opposition belong to Zungu. That said, I dont regard Dean Furman bkus he isnt inventive, neither is he daring with his passes, he doesnt take risks unlike Zungu. He prefers short exchange of passes with his CBs and the closest midfielder to him. He hardly assists a goal or gives a wicked pass that leaves opponents in his wake.

I am of the opinion that winning this AFCON would make it easier for us to convince the really good foreign born lads to play for us thereafter
Same here bro. To me Aina's success with the Eagles at this afcon is already swaying some of them, especially the ones he is close friends with.

Ademola, Tomori et al

Etebo was one of our best player at the world cup and he was playing in laliga then... Mikel has always been our best midfielder way before the Middlesbrough move...
The championship has nothing to do with their performance this Afcon..
The championship isn't where u progress.. u just earn more money there... too many crap players and managers playing boring long ball football ... That's why the like of hull city and Norwich are lions in the championship but can't hold their own against the big boys in EPL .

Look at Aina..Compare Aina of Hull city and the one of Torino....u will see a big difference...
He knew all these things, hence he doesn't deserve a response as genteel as this. He is only trynna impress the low lives in here. I will always be his nightmare whenever he comes here trynna rubbish our boys, to make his favourite Anglo players look better grin

To him Osimhen is crap while Solanke is a gold

Awaziem is useless while Iorfa is a class act

Onyekuru is poor while Onyedinma is the real deal

No be same person talk say Chuks Aneke better pass all dem CMs wey dey our team.

The boy tells lies as though his life depends on it.

By miles. We need to treat him as importantly as we did Naby Keita. If he gets those passes flowing that will unlock guys like Tau, Lurch and Zwanne.
Furman isn't a pass master, he is a destroyer, he intercepts and tackles for Zungu to spread the passes. Before Zungu came aboard the ship, Furman was doing the job(breaking up plays) for Andile Jali.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by ChrisKels: 12:44pm On Jul 10, 2019
Ndidi and Etebo should replicate their form against Guinnea today. They should do on Zungu, the same job they did on Keita, then the match is as good as won. To me, Zungu is the main threat, he feeds the likes of Tau, and when he is stifled, Tau becomes useless. Mothiba isn’t a striker, he always has his back against the post, the first thing that comes to his mind whenever he is wt the ball is to make a back pass to either Tau or lurch, So Ndidi should be up for it, to intercept those passes, and our CBs should always keep it tight to force him to make those BPs

I will start Ighalo in this match to deal with Mkizhe and Hlatshuayo. With Chukwueze, we have a very good chance of winning penalties from Mkizhe grin

This boy u are such an unstable fellow and u have no shred of shame in u, below u boldly claimed no offer came his way after his exploits in the ligue1

komekn:
Speculation and concrete offers are not the same thing.

If a club really wants you they will pay the price to get you.

Awaziem had a whole season in the French league 1, if he was outstanding as some have said here. He would have had concrete offers not speculation in the media.
...but when u got bursted bkus Nantes actually put in a bid, u being ur usual chameleon self shifted the goal post to rating and no longer a bid

komekn:
Nantes is not a big club in the context of Financial muscle, they offered what they thought he was worth £3.5 million if I'm right. Who else wanted him❓ The price offered tells you his rating by the club after a season in the French league one. That should tell you something as well.
At the first and second bolded, did u see how incoherent u sounded bkus u already grasping at straws?

U said Nantes was a small club Financially, hence I deduced that was why they couldn't meet up with Porto's asking price. In other words, if Nantes was buoyant enough they would have gone all out to get their boy. In conclusion, Nantes put in what they had not what Awaziem was worth(rate). Period

Stop rigmarolling

Our two best Midfielder arguably in the AFCON play in abyss of the Championship, Mikel and Etebo. What a wonderful abyss it must be.

Please we need to encourage more of our players to come to this Abyss as it does a world of good for thier careers it seems . I know even Onazi tried to leave Turkey to get here but it sadly didn't work.
I dey busy for Beta Lactam now, once I'm through, I go come back for u. For now, enjoy while it lasts. Bye

How u see our game tomorrow now that we have a full house? Do u think Collins should start at left back, while Aina takes his rightful place for Awaziem to sit it out?

In our CM , dont u think Balo would make a better pair to Omeruo. We need CBs that are comfortable with the ball at the feet. I hate wrong hurried passes and clearances without purposes.

Then, in the midfield, I will like Mikel to either form a double pivot with Ndidi, or sit it out, bkus I dont wanna ever see him playing as an AM

Even if Rohr fails to win the afcon he had laid a foundation that will last for a long time and made the team a force to reckon on atleast in African football once again.

If keshi won 4 afcon to me he was the worst mistake that happened to our football
Lol what foundation plz grin

That worst mistake is still the reason u can beat ur chest before a Ghanaian today. grin

The bulk of Rohr's team were there before Rohr took the reigns. I cant quite find any foundation. By the way, whats Rohr's football philosophy?

The new coach of Turkish giants, Istanbul Basaksehir, mandates his new club to recruit Awaziem either permanently or on loan, but they will have to battle it out with Awaziem's former loan side Nantes who are desperate to have him back on a permanent basis.

Recall that Awaziem and Okechukwu were the main heroes as Rizespor escaped relegation under the tutelage of this same coach this past season, and they have already signed Okechukwu on loan from pyramid as they prepare for next seasons UEFA champs league
