To me it wasn't poor journalism. There's no difference in that question from asking if his team will win.

The response from the algerian coach was poor and unsportsmanlike. Which pressure was the journalist piling on them? Even foreign media captioned it appropriately: "algerian coach evades question on cheating". It's Nigerian media captioned it wrongly. Our journalist was not disgraced in anyway. It's only in football that cheating is applauded.

The algerian journalists that clapped are towing the line of their country. They enjoy winning by cheating. As bad as our country is, we frown at those football antics.

Up super eagles
The bolded plus their failure to quote the Algerian coach verbatim amount to poor journalism. Finito

Chidera Ejike (64) has completed more dribbles than any other player in the ongoing Eliteserien season; at least 41 more than any other player. Bargain.

Our Olympic squad would be bomb if all the guys get released to us

Who saw the way they were just crying up and down during the Ivory Coast match forming emotional for the camera.. All in a bid to decieve and attract undue sympathy... THANK GOD FOR THAT JOURNALIST.. SHE MAY H A VE given us 50 percent victory... Its Now left for the boys to give us the rest

Out of everything he said only the bolded was not id*otic.

Where else should you talk about unsportsmanlike conduct from your team? In church? Nobody was asking him to slam his players. What was wrong with saying "these things are part of football but we are only focus on winning tomorrow's game"? Instead he attacked the woman claiming she is working for Nigeria when in fact she works for Supersports a South African company. The man is a f**l and I pray we disgrace him today.

As far as your every coach would say the same comment I disagree. Rohr wouldn't answer in such a rude fashion in fact after Madagascar Nigerian journalist were very harsh with him but he maintained a cordial tone and was always respectful. Also Pep did not react in this fashion when he was asked about his team making tactical fouls.
Ok. I hope Eagles deliver his head to appease us all today.

Oya sama me ur prediction

Mine is Naija 3-1 Alja

Nevertheless, it was shameful, what the other journalists did by clapping...
Yea the action of the Algerian journalists wasnt professional enough, and they were rightly called to order by the co-ordinator.

Turkish giants Besiktas have moved in to
improve the two million Euros offered by Dutch
club Heerenveen for Chidera Ejike

Heerenveen have made a firm offer of 2
million Euros for the Valerenga forward and
his representatives are due in Holland to
finalise the transfer.

The Dutch club have proposed a four-year deal
for Ejike. However, it has been further learnt that
Besiktas among several other interested clubs
may see the player’s transfer to Holland fall
through as they hope to improve on the offer
by Heerenveen.

“It’s a very fluid situation as several other
clubs including Besiktas are ready to improve
on the Heerenveen offer for the player,” a
representative of the player said.

Former Nigeria U17 star Ejike, 21, has been
consistent in Norway and this season he has
netted five goals and provided several assists
for his club.
Last season, he came close to joining top
Belgian side Club Brugge.

That doesn't sound right. Why would Algerian journalists start clapping because of that? North African are whinny cheaters when it comes to football and we all saw their player punch Zaha in the mouth and act like the victim.
This is what the man said;

''I am not really sure that
this is the place to talk about this. If you
try to put pressure on us, it is not the right
way. Try to win in another way, not this
way.
''There is a referee for that, there is VAR
for that, it is not your job to talk about
these things.''

I dont think there is anything wrong with that. Any coach would have given such response, u don't expect him to slam his player before the press, no sane coach does that. Chisom knew what she was up to before asking him that question, she wanted to suppress the man by putting him under pressure and drawing the attention of CAF in case it happens against Nigeria. She succeeded, yes buh the man did what he had to do as a professional. Nothing like sexism here

if we ask any African, how many Polish players they know, you will get nothing

Most Africans don't even know Lewandoski is polish.
It was during the world cup, I got to know many polish players.

Most people all over the world dont know players from other Nations unless they are their regular opponents or club players. Infact, in the Epl, outside the top 6, u can hardly tell a player's country without using Google, unless u are already conversant with names as they relate to countries, the popular/unique ones. Can elyte89 my man name USMNT players?

So it isnt just an African thing, it is global stuff though we can argue that the more prominent ones like Spain, Germany, Dutch, Portugal etc are kinda exceptions.

Bros, I apologize if I spoke insensitively.

See, I have lost friends too.

Trust me when I say that every time I hear of Insurgent attack on army formations, I get angry at the Government that has allowed corruption to go on unchecked among your generals and/or ministry of defence and I wonder where the money for arms went to. I don't blame the soldiers at all. They give it their all so that we can live in comfort but I blame the government that seems insensitive despite media reports and international agencies calling for probes into how the money is being spent to fight terror. I have heard several stories from soldiers on the front and they have been heart wrenching.

May Got keep you all safe. I will stop here so as not to detail further. Once again, I appreciate your sacrifice. Gos bless

Put "very" before that word "popular".

Almost everybody in Umudike, Ndioru, Amabo et al knew him from day one because of his talent. From ibeku high school to Govicollag(FGC) and other sec schools in umuahia, I dont think there is any ex student who never saw him play during sec school competitions and inter-house sports, thats why no sane person can come out to doubt his age. We sabi the boy well well.

U are the one straggling. U said he wasn't a bench warmer, then I asked u to do the honorable thing bu proving it.

He has played only 10times in as many games for Bournemouth, starting a paltry 2, out of the two games he started, he completed only one.

In the other 8 matches, he came in as a late sub, probably a ploy by the coach to kill time grin
