charlesemeka85: Several Bundelsiga clubs are plotting a move for London-born Nigerian midfielder Josh Onomah in the summer transfer window, according to reports.
According to the Sun, Borussia Monchengladbach are among the clubs monitoring the situation of the England U20 World Cup-winning midfielder, while Mainz, Augsburg and Frankfurt have also been credited with an interest.
Onomah has not been named in Spurs squad for their 2019 International Champions Cup matches in Singapore and Shanghai, which suggests that he is not in the plans of manager Mauricio Pochettino for the new season.
Ahead of a possible transfer to a new club, the central midfielder has been training with Tottenham's U23 teams.
Though there are no clear favorites for his signature at this point in time, Borussia Monchengladbach did transfer business with Tottenham a year ago, signing 2019 Golden Boy nominee Keanan Bennetts from the capital club.
Since debuting for the first team of Tottenham, Onomah has played 32 games, scoring one goal.
He previously enjoyed loan spells at Aston Villa and Sheffield Wednesday. I hope this materializes, we need quality in our midfield, to be creative enough |

darkelf: Guy, your problem is that sometimes, you jump to conclusion without understanding antecedents
This guy started and came of the bench in some cup matches last season and was named among the pre-season squad
Even If he refuses us, will he be the first or the last Lucas Nmecha is no longer eligible for either Nigeria or England bro. Manchester City striker Lukas Nmecha will represent Germany's national teams for the rest of his career after FIFA approved a one- time change of association. Even if he fails to make the grades through the German rsnks, he can no longer turn around to play for England or Nigeria. |

Anyway "has never" doesn't translate to "can never" or "will never". I'd put my money on Uzoho stopping that FK Akpeyi conceded tho Bia Ayo u dun come again? I no get strength to dribble abeg. Wetin be time for our match today? |

Barryseal: What are you saying? Lookman have turned Nigeria down, Jordan Ibe, Nnedum Onuoha, Agbonlahor, Chucks Aneke, Tammy Abraham, Shola Ameobi (when he was good), Charlton Cole, Ugo Ehiogu, Chuba Akpom ( when he was a top prospect), I can name more.
Bros true Nigerians don't wait for a special invitation to represent Nigeria. You don't wait for red carpet IVs. Read the story about Nduka Ugbade and even Isaac Success. These guys used to sneak into the camp of the U17s uninvited, repeatedly they were asked to go home but they refused until they were given a chance.
How on earth can you compare these guys to the example I cited. I feel insulted reading these fBs are more Nigerian than the average street kid in Lagos. Just because they can say a few lines in pigin and dance azonto very well at parties. U get time |

TheSuperNerd: It didn't matter because Messi has scored multiple times from such position. His left foot is not like any other my good man. Messi scored from similar position with his left foot against USA at the 2016 Copa America. That guy is dangerous on the right and the left. You know this. Messi taking a FK is unlike any other taking one except CR7 who is in same league. From a position further away from the position he couldn't beat Uzoho, he sodomised Enyeama in 2014 |

Odunayaw: Messi's FK wasn't at such inviting & dangerous position (especially for a left footer). In fact Messi was standing at the far right side of the box edge At the 2014 WC in Brazil, our greatest of all time messed up something worse than Uzoho's from same Messi. Uzoho has never been beaten with a freekick before in the green and white gear |

No matter how harsh I am on Ighalo it can never change anything, like wise other guys' opinion on other players in here. To me, Ighalo is crap buh he is the top striker in this Afcon and has the coach's trust. To komekn, Awaziem is crap but he has been one of the best full backs in this afcon and has the coach's trust. Bro stop being too emotional, dis is just a game. That said, Ighalo is an anywhere-bele-face striker |

komekn: When l called Awaziem the weakest link some described me as being biased and negatively prejudiced towards Nigerian born players.
How can you play wing back and have no pace, that's why he plays in Turkey. Shut up Mr thats not why he plays in Turkey. He is a Centre back, not a wing back, he is a make shift RB in this afcon so u cant judge him by that. Iorfa is a RB but still hasn't done nothing of note thats why he was demoted to the youth team at Wolves before he got released |

komekn: I would prefer local but the issue of Egunje and other sharp practices has continued to plague our local coaches ad infinitum.
I would not mind the Cameroon combination. Whatever foreign coach we get he must be black. I am sure Sol Campbell and Rio Ferdinand would take the job.
But l think we need to expand the scouting of our players and be more proactive. I don’t know why Ovie, Tega Onomah, Ebere Eze, Dominic Iorfa, Fikayo Tomori, we're not invited. I haven't included Ademola because k haven't spoken to him to know if he interested or heard anything to that effect.
There are others you could include there is no harm in trying them out.
All Francophone African countries are filled with French youth internationals and players born in France predominantly.
I haven't mentioned players in other parts of Europe not because they don't exist but we have overwhelming numbers of Nigerian at all levels of football in the UK. So that's why l haven't mentioned any from other parts if Europe. And I simply don't know them to be honest.
But in addition the England is a quality league and conversely will have more quality players.
Indeed the core of the SE quality players are playing in England or emanated from England. Bro please tell me u spoke with the highlighted duo and they said they are interested. Thats gonna make my day footballicaly after yesterday's misfortune |

forgiveness: I still wonder who does the selection in the national team.
We need to reinforce the mildfield with fresh players. The likes of Eberechi Eze, Tega Onomah, Ovie, Semi Ajayi (if he moves away from league one), Joe Aribo (if his team gets to play in Europa League and he performs), Ramon Azeez (if he gets to play in the la Liga this season), Abdul Ajagun (if he gets to play in the Belgium Pro League or a better league this season), Azubike Okechukwu (if he gets to play), Nnamdi Ofoborh (if he gets game time in EPL), Dele Bashiru (if he gets to play in a decent league), Aniekeme Okon (he should be given the chance), Kingsley Michael etc.
We should draft in more players in the attack to make it competitive.
Lookman Ademola, Issac Success and Noah Bazee should slog it out for the wings position.
We should watch out for Sheyi Ojo (fc Rangers) and Bobby Adekanye (Lazio). They can be a good addition for the RW position alongside with Noah Bazee and Isaac Success. Chukwueze should be given the competition to bring out the best in him.
Lookman Ademola can slog it out with Simon Moses and Henry Onyekuru on the LW. Enough of makeshift players.
Ahmed Musa should be moved to SS or S position.
In the striker position, Olanrewaju Kayode, Taiwo Awoniyi and Sunday Odey should be given the chance to prove themselves. They should slog it out with Osimhen and Ighalo.
We can watch out Josh Maja and David Okereke.
Onuachu!?
In the defence, we need to bring back Idowu to slog it out with Collins on the LB.
Ebuehi and Aina should slog it out for the RB position. Then, Tomori should be chased after to represent us. Uduokhia should be added into the team.
The goalkeeper department is one the problems we have. The goalkeeper trainer should be sacked and replaced with a more competent one. Then, we are good to go. The bolded was the reason u and andrew444 once tagged me a tribalist, bkus I said Musa was a shitty winger but would do better as an SS or S. I told u I would play my boys ahead of Musa on the wings buh u thought my assertions had tribal inclinations just bkus the said boys of mine happened to be Onyekuru and a fit Kalu. Now una eyes dun dey open |
