for us to do well on Tuesday against Argentina, Moses and iheanacho must give their best. The Argentines will want to cage musa because they know what he can do. To shift attention, etebo must be strong Too to help Moses and lheanacho. I believe we’ll conquer them.

If u know.., u know grin

From Iceland's coach;

“Where we met Mikel was contrary to our preparation and all our attempts to change did not work. He was all over the place both back and front. I commend him and the entire Nigerian team. They were better."

Please guys, how true is this ;

We only need a draw with Argentina and it doesn’t depend on the result of the match between Croatia and Iceland. If Iceland beats Croatia with 10 goals, it doesn’t matter because they will only have 4 points and a draw with Argentina will give us 4 points then head to head rule will be applied and because we beat Iceland then we shall take 2nd position and qualify into the next round.

OMANBALA1:
These Koreans are very physical
There is the difference between being physical and rough. The koreans were rather rough on their opponents than physical.

They didn't have the energy to be physical, they were instead committing fouls. When u talk about physicality u talk about strength. Senegal and Iceland are the true definition of physicality.

U just repeated what I said, that he still gotta be subjected to further tests(scrutinization), so until those tests and other things, u cant say he is completely free

Complete remission means that there is no evidence of cancer in his system.

It means he is cured.
It doesnt mean he is completely cured bro. U can prove me wrong.

Complete abatement otherwise called complete response doesnt prove u are free off the disease until further scrutinization. It only means u have won about 80% of the battle.

Carl Ikeme in complete Remission... Best news today!! It will take him a long time to get back into competitive football though.
A long time? He's got preseason to start beating himself into shape. Besides he was out for just a season or less.

Modified : sorry I missed the abatement part of it

Certitude:
Did you see the formation? Mikel didn't patner anyone. He was behind both Ndidi and Etebo. He was running sh!t from deep.
But this thing u said has no correlation with what I was trynna correct nah.

GoodJoe said he wants Mikel ahead of Etebo and Ndidi in his fantasy formation, then I said no, that I would rather have him partner Ndidi while Etebo plays ahead of the two.

Back to ur argument, we played double pivot against Iceland, Mikel didn't play behind Ndidi

TheGoodJoe:

What Musa did especially in the second goal, I believe without a shred of doubt that Moses can do that better and repeatedly in a deadlier fashion. I was not joking when I said Moses is the ideal replacement for Salah at Liverpool. I trust the young man's ability.

Why wait for occasional fire from Musa while Moses packs it in bags.
Only the gullible will believe the bolded.

Ogbeni Moses would rather fall looking for a free kick that the ref would over look because Moses is known to the refs as a "fallmaniac"

Please stop dragging us back. I beg u in the name of whatever trips u d most

I know strikers can be selfish. Nice it worked out but Musa should be called on the play and next know he is to pass to players in good scoring positions to increase our chances to win.

Finito.
Good but did u know before Musa beat the goalkeeper, KC had a defender on him, and after dribbling the goalkeeper, the defender left KC to guide his post putting KC on a good scoring position but unfortunately for him(kc) Musa had already gotten into a better position with the keeper dribbling? in fact Musa was able to deceive both the keeper and defender using Kelechi.
If he had passed before dribbling that keeper, we might have missed Dat goal

After watching the development of the team during the two games, I present my preferred formation an set-up to play the Argentines.
Thanks to God it is ur formation not ours. Musa was the best the last this formation was played and u want him dropped just to create a space for Vicmo's unnecessary dribbling and falls up front.

We forbid this. E be like u are on a mission wt dis ur Vicmo woteva dis guy

Oh I didn't even notice Mikel ahead of Etebo and Ndidi Lol. If Mikel isn't ready to partner Ndidi so that Etebo or Iwobi plays ahead, he should sit. Also if Moses isn't ready to play the wing back role, he should also sit

Finito

This stewpid insinuation should stop already. How could someone say he was begging to be subbed in? The Coach might have told him to get ready, and as soon the second goal came, he had to hurry up in order to help protect the lead by being a nuisance with his hold up play. He did holding up pretty well even though I wanted more from him because he killed two go bound opportunities with his excessive holding up and poor striking sense.

I have never been Ighalo's fan and I never wanted him in this world cup team, but in this case, he didn't do any wrong. Make una stop dis nonsense talk, its nauseating.

We have to give him credit still.

He was the one that made us know 3-5-2 could work for us by testing it in friendly. Otherwise, we may not have thought we can play with such formation which is alien to our traditional style.
Its a lie bro. Before Rohr played that formation, some guys suggested it here and it sounded queer to many until Rohr tried it out against Argentina. This is not to say that it was the suggestion here that made him try it out but some people saw it before others.

I still believe we have a sleeping weapon in Victor Moses and if he had the opportunity to play the same role Musa had, he would have been impressive. I hope Moses get the chance soon to show what he can do as an attacker.

Either way, Musa was prolific and deserves the accolades he gets.

When you think of the amount of players with similar attributes like Onyekuru, Chukwueze, Success, you can see in a set-up that promotes these kind of players, we can have a formidable team.
U guys have started again oo. Plz kill any idea of playing Moses up front. We dont need unnecessary dribbles neither do we need anybody falling flat on the floor with the slightest touch thereby killing our sweet counters biko.

We seem to have found solution to our lack of scoring abilities, and here u are advising us to create such problem for ourselves again? Mbanu. If he isn't satisfied with the WB role, he should improve his game or sit on the bench

LordBailish:
Am I the only one who noticed an act of jealousy being displayed by Ighalo today against Iceland?

In the first scenario, which was just immediately Musa scored the second goal, Ighalo swiftly beckoned on Rohr to let him in apparently so as to prove himself as a better option.

Secondly, Ighalo had an option to drop a flick pass to Musa who was goal bound but deliberately held on to the ball until Iwobi appeared before releasing the ball to Iwobi who eventually fired a short only to hit an Icelandic defender.

I want to believe the coach will see all of these and talk to this players before our game against Argentina.
I wish we went with Kayode but all the same I hope he finds his scoring boot though from the bench. But dude he should dropped from the team after this world cup for more deserving players. It's really funny that he dorns the number 9 shirt grin

he seem to fancy the chance of representing us but the football house and rohr has to do the needful by approaching him officially and not waiting for him to make contact first or beg before he will be given a chance. i have seen the kid play severally and followed him well when huddlesfield were in the championship and i must say he has all the qualities to metamorphose into a world class central midfielder in no distance time. he is highly regarded in the epl and was scouted a couple of times by epl teams when he was in the championship.

Did you not see the 3-5-2 formation I proposed ahead of the Croatia game?

You think you will just adopt a formation in the middle of the WCQ without first having the opportunity of trying it out?

After the friendlies there was no one analyst here who didn't agree the 3-5-2 is the most suitted for this team.

Look I am also a critique of this team, infact there is hardly any player I have never criticised but one thing I still do is to still believe in the team and that they can get better.
We tried it out throughout the friendlies and it never failed us, but the other one did, yet he left the one dat never failed for the one that failed, it still failed him once again, yet u want me to praise him for causing himself troubles while he alrdy has the answer.

Guy forget, if not for the pundits that hit him hard after that Croatia match, dude might still have repeated Dat formation wt Ighalo and Shehu.

My stance on Uzoho was not born out of hatred for him or the team but concerns about his readiness to face the challenge.

And tell me Shehu was not impressive during qualifiers?

All in all I believed in the team and supported them to win. I never wrote them off even though I know there some potential loop holes.

But not so can be said of you and your allies.

You come here to pretend as though you are happy we won but inside you feel hurt that you didn't have the opportunity to say "I told you, I told you".

See man you guys should learn to be patriotic.

Even though we know Argentina are favorite to win our next game we can only be hopeful that we can create the upset.

I cautioned you about the way you are going about writing this our team off but you didn't listen.
Man I am not a coward, hence I dont shy away from my messes, I shoulder them and deal with them.

Yes I berated Rohr for his blindness. I asked him to take Moses to the WB role which u objected. I was one if not the first to call for the 352 formation. If the formation had failed, I would have bn the one receiving the sticks.

U were always against d formation, now did I come shouting "I told you" 352 would bring us Victory?

I know I am no Saint, but u definitely are not either

Did anybody notice that suddenly our defense stopped giving miscued passes that always landed in the foot of our opponents. Ekong worst of them all was so impressive with his passes today.

Man Omeruo should fight for his place at Chelsea, he's come of age. Right now I dont think Christensen is better. Otherwise, he should seek an out right transfer to any of the Europe's top five leagues.
