Still waiting to hear from Omeruo. Dude should find himself a decent club maybe in France to settle down. Enough with the loan moves just to maintain the tag "Chelsea player"
I pray Ekong's move materialises and Iorfa regains his place at Wolves. Our defense should consist of players from the top leagues who fight every day with the best strikers the world can offer.
Awaziem and Balo are there already |

charlesemeka85: red bull salzburg, fenebache, anderlecht, sk brann and amiens shows interest to sign man untd youth teamer tosin kehinde whose contract will run out in few days Bar Fenerbache, I like the teams looking for his signature though I would implore his handlers to look for a Spanish or German midtable team or better yet find a more reputable club in ligue1 than Amiens. Otherwise, If I was to make a pick from those mentioned four, I would pick Amiens and then Salzburg Salzburg horn talents and they play beautiful footie |

goldfish80: When it comes to who the next eagles manager should be, I don't think Gernot Rohr is the man to take us forward. As much as he brought certain degree of calmness and organization to the team, I still see him as the forebearer. His job is done with Nigeria as he has taken the team as far as he can. If he must stay, then we are just prolonging the inevitable.
However, incase Gernot Rohr stays, then he must be made to sign documents which will make him live in Nigeria with his family. He must report to office on daily basis and provide support, technical assistance and supervise our various youth teams, monitor league games and organize seminars for local coaches in the NFL and the grassroots. This should be the blue print going forward. Nigeria must build from ground up. All these short cut to success will always lead to failure on the global scale.
If Rohr should go, then we should be looking at a braintrust of indigenous coaches mixed with foreign technical assistants.Guys like Siasia and Amunike should head this braintrust whilst they are assisted by foreign expatriate physical trainers/high performance coach, video analysts and other backroom fillers where we lack indigenous capacity.
Another option worth considering is a manager from old Yugoslavia. Those guys are hard workers and they have no qualms living in Africa since their climes and ours aren't so dissimilar. Furthermore, they are quite cerebral and they are affordable. For instance, look at the job Micho did with Uganda, Petrovic with Suisse and Dalic with Croatia. We must be looking at the next level and a clear plan for the future. The future is no longer far away. Could u plz tweet this to the NFF? |

forgiveness: Philip and Noah should be considered. But I don't agree Onazi and Joel should be dropped if they get a decent club or play in a decent league. For sure, those two will be given chances as long as they remain injury free |

After overcoming this big disappointment and the anger it caused me, I am having a rethink. I think we should keep Rohr as the coach, then get a capable replacement for Salisu in Finidi, Amunike, Siasia or mutiu.
We should rather do away with the dead woods such as Onazi, obi Joel, Akpeyi, Ezenwa, Ighalo, elderson than sack Rohr.
Give ikouwem and deji chances. Select amongst, Osigwe, Alampasu, Okoye and Akpan for back ups to Uzoho.
Bring in KC Nwakali and other good youngsters in place of the dead woods.
Plz Chidi Nwakali aint ready yet, only his younger bro looks ready. I pray he(KC Nwakali) joins Porto for the champions League next season too.
Take Shehu to the midfield because with Moses Odubajo going to celtic, our RB is overfloating.
If Agu breaks into Porto first team, give him one more chance.
The likes of kayode et al should be vying for our striking shirt not people like Ighalo.
We should maintain our 352 just get Musa a better partner.
Try luring the German CBs once again. Also give Iorfa a chance if he regains his shirt at wolves. |

That guy is a disgrace, while others were fighting for points, he was busy fighting for a mere shirt. He should be axed from the Eagles ASAP. He has no shame |

The man of excuses is at it again. For this particular act, I want Rohr served his sack letter. As much as I hate our local coaches, this is the last straw that broke the camel's back. We cant keep this man, enough is enough. Is he such a coward that his players decide for him? Gush!!!
''I wanted to bring out Ahmed Musa but he said he wanted to stay and was fit to finish the match, we were waiting for the end of the match to make two other changes, everybody did well, nobody had to go out. ''If I had seen what happened in the first half, perhaps I would not have started with the same team because one of my players was not really fit and he went out halftime but you never can know. ''It's possible one player in the starting XI is not fit, we have to accept that and make the change.'' |

goldfish80: Something didn't feel right about Germany in this tournament. Infact from the point of selections.
Frankly I think that the German Federation and Bundesliga need to take a look at the current set up of their game. The overall dominance of Bayern Munich does not help the competitiveness of their current league. Bayern's overbearing dominace is bound to catch up with them at some point. I cant add more to this but Loew felt he could do anything and get away with it since he won the world cup and confed cup. Imagine leaving out Sane for one flimsy excuse of a player, Brandt.
