Miss_3v3: If social media was anytin to go by, Melvin would hav won the ultimate prize, but given that, over 90% of his fans only 'talk too much' on FB n Twitter n dont actually vote, wat then wer de xpectin Secondly Ghana did not really have a good strategy when it came down to allies from beginning and that worked against Elikem's favor. If we ever want a chance we need to start making proper decisions when it comes to voting. Anyways he went further than we all expected. This has been the worst BBA for us. So much insults and hatred for both our reps. Am glad it's done and i really hope we pull out from this show.

let me use naija slang. Pull out ko!pull out ni! we should not think about it. I think next year a east african might win. But eli truelly paid his dues this season
TV/Movies / Re: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by chriskwaku: 9:19pm On Aug 25, 2013
god_of_music: I tell you, Naija won't win BBA again!!! Even though we bring Basketmouth as our next rep. Quote me next year!!

why? mr jason if you rep next year you would easily win.

safarigirl: First off, I'd like to congratulate Sholay and languy for the win.

Secondly, I'd like to thank avid Melvin fans Kslib, Andre, Omonime, Josydaky, Beniye, ItsModella, ella.b and all others I failed to mention. We fought a good fight

Thirdly, I'd like to thank all the non-avid fans who still supported, ochon, spade, Marairux etc.

Fourthly, I'd like to also thank the haters forkadict, ginger, The Amaka etc. Y'all helped liven the thread.

Also, team Elikem, SOM and co, y'all also lost too, but it's all good.

Lastly, all those who never took sides, but made this page interesting too, Iyawo, Bizbloke etc

Then our expatriates kgr28, GH Kwame, chriskwaku, SAgirl, Zimbomatic, 1,2 and Royal Pearl for your contributions to this thread.

S/O to the silent viewers, lucifer and his team...and a MIGHTY CONGRATULATIONS to Pastor O'neal for SADC's win

Una don finally make finals. And I hope in the future, there are more Elikems to represent Ghana, or even yet, better contenders.

StateOfMind:

Lol..I like your optimism, but truth is elikem winning come sunday will be a miracle..

I'd have been voting massively for elikem if I know he has high chances of winning but he doesn't. I don't know where his fans n fanatics on social media are drawing their strength and faith from, but I don't see him getting more than 2country votes if I'm to judge by the different campaigns I'm seeing around. I may be wrong though.

Elikem is the first ghanaian I'd ever root for cos I usually don't feel their reps with the exception of maybe keitta... The likes of selly, sammy, kweku, confidence, dkb, mildred, mimi(oh lawd) wayo(hahaha) did not cut it out for me like elikem did.

Win or no win, elikem kumordji is my chase this season even though I have never voted for him. The only person wey don benefit from my precious airtime na cleo. She is my favourite female this season but unfortunately, things are not so good for her too, the countries zambia voted for just wanna abandon cleo in finals..they want my girl to be the first to walk out on sunday cry cry cry .

Its all good though, and will definitely not be pained if any of the remaining walk away with the money. I don't know what some peeps have against dillish, but she also deserves that money as much as the remaining 4 smiley since the likes of bassey, sulu n maria did not make it. Oneal, feza, bolt and bimp are peeps I personally did not want to see in the top5 not to talk of walking away with the money.

In all my years of watching bba, this is the first time I'd actively participate in a discussion forum, worry about which country votes who, or even vote a favourite housemate. I just watch and leave the rest to africa. I had no idea emotions fly a lot like this. Imma keep watching bba as long as they air it, but I'd try to stay away from forums and other social media to enjoy the game like I always have. I must admit This season got a bit of my emotions too.smiley.

Miracles happen all the time cheesy. and please dont be swayed by the flamboyant campaigns of others angry. On a serious note ,we should have campaigned aggressively for him in the swing countries. Win or lose Elikem has paid his dues this season.FYI the rastaman Wayo is now a practicing Attorney. I did not watch that edition but i hear he was the first to be evicted.

god_of_music: So Ghana dey liike this...how can Yfm be broadcasting in the WHOLE Ghana??

For 9ja here...the radio station in Mushin is different from the one in Surulere talkless of the states.
"
"
I mean for 9Ja na over 200 Radio stations we get so!

YFm coverage is limited to Greater Accra only and there are about 20 stations as well in Accra alone. BTW are you the Jason Iyasara Giyaz who commented on Live Fm's facebook page.

fork adict: @Rusello & @itsmodella. Please restrict the circulation of the voting blueprint only to posters you are very very sure are nigerians and are also driven by the BB passion. I need not emphasize what will happen should it by mistake or otherwise get into alien hands.

Now to the stunt that clown Melvin pulled on africa this evening. First of, dude needs to realise that positions of authority come with certain responsibilities and in an ideal society, failure to meet them should attract serious consequencies. He knew he would be faced with the save and replace decision the moment he was announced HOH and he very well knew the consequencies of not making that decision and he chose to face the consequence which is possible eviction. Possible reasons he chose to tow this path may be 'his good heart' which stipulates his reluctance to be anyones stumbling block in the chase for the ultimate prize, another reason may be his desire to test his popularity in africa.

I am more inclined to believe he just wants to test his popularity cos he has been HOH twice and he made the save and replace decision on both occassions. So why did he fail to make the decision a third time? Dude is trying to pull a fast one on africa by this act cos if it wasn't so, he could have declined the HOH position on the grounds that he wanted to give other housemates a chance since he has been HOH twice if indeed he had the much talked about good heArt. This is where his case differs from Karens. Karen pulled the same stunt when she was HOH for the first time. Compare that with someone who just developed a golden heart on his third reign as HOH? Please

Do I feel Melvin is playing on my intelligence with this annoying decision of his? Absolutely. Do I feel that for that reason, he deserves to be evicted? Hell no. Cos one, its too early for a naija boy to be evicted. Forget wetin happen for Big Bro stargame. Two, just to prove a point to those housemates that are still in doubt of the existense and awesomeness of the naija power that naija power power is real and very much exists as far as Big Bro is concerned. So for this reason, I say to my naija peeps, VOTE MELVIN

@ Fork addict Have you voted for him today ?smiley wink

safarigirl:

The funniest thing is that as of yesterday they kept saying Melvin will get only Nigeria's vote. Melvin has 1 vote and it's Nigeria..bla bla bla.

All of a sudden they started writing reasons why a Nigerian shouldn't win the show today.

I'm like if Melvin will get only Nigeria's vote then why the hell do you feel the need to explain to other african countries that Melvin shouldn't win because Nigeria has won three times and need to give others a chance..
Does this mean that Nigerians now participate in bba just to count grass?

ignore negetive vibes and vote for melvino. That is all
