the safest option would be ethiopia smiley

And that's where the problem lays. People look at old form forgetting that nothing remains this same. In the past like you said, Nigeria also beat Ghana + the current crushing effects of the Super Eagles....... Sky is their limit.

This is why it will be so intriguing if we were drew together..... Current form supersedes all. Ghana qualified to this stage by a whisker.

personally i wouldn't like to play nigeria at this time. maybe 2rd round of the world cup itself would do. If we had drawn against zambia, we would still have qualified. Remember zambia even had 3 points awarded to them even though they lost 1-0 against sudan

Goke7: Soccer games in Africa are not like that of Europe where the better side wins most of the time irrespective of the venue [home or away]. There are a lot of things involved like bad pitches, weather conditions, the altitude, troublesome fans, attitude of the host nation [just ask Zambia when they went to Ghana], CAF politics especially the Fracophone cabal, fielding ineligible players, boardroom points and so many others. All these do work against better and top sides. I wish Keshi and the Eagles all the best.

i associate myself with your comments, except to add that the Zambia FA did a shody job with their travelling arrangements. if they had liased with the GFA, they would have been told the Kumasi airport was being rehabilatated and as such no flight is allowed after 5pm and therefore could not land that late hour they had proposed.

I wish it will work out too, they complement each other very well.

They will be arriving in ghana today, ghanaians should reciprocate zim's kind gesture towards elikem and give pokello a befitting welcome as well

the thing is BBA is not popular in Gh and can bet you many folks do not who she is and the fact that she warmly received Eli in zim. but am sure she would be given a fitting welcome. i would not be there though smiley

Truth be told, some ghanaians like Banku and Tilapia, Ghananotnaija and some others are the initiators of the cyber wars. i have a feeling they take delight in doing so.
A case in point was when a lady was stabbed to death in abidjan in the course of the week. Now this had nothing to do with Gh but trust Ghananotnaija to jump into it. His comment provoked some nigerians and they also responded and as usual nana otumfour would not let that by pass him cool cool
I started following the thread created by Bin gbabo during the U20 world cup up till yesternite ,and to say the least the level of bigotry displayed by the extremists on both sides was appaling

Big Brother Africa (BBA) The Chase finalist, Elikem Kumordzie has arrived in Zimbabwe and was welcomed at the airport by a beaming girlfriend, Pokello Nare and local fans at the Harare International Airport. The Ghanaian hunk who charmed Stunner’s former girlfriend’s heart introduced Pokello to his mother after the BBA finale in South Africa.

At the airport, tape measures were the ‘in thing’ as most fans had them around their necks in acknowledgment of Elikem’s profession as a tailor.
Fans were all in caps branded Polikem (Pokello+Elikem) and some were holding banners branded ‘Welcome Elikem’ and ‘Our mukwasha (son–in–law)’.

Upon arrival, Hovhorosi Style designers handed Elikem one of their overalls with President Robert Mugabe’s signature and he quickly changed into the overalls.

ghananotnaija: It's time for Nigeria to be humbled by little Malawi. Nigeria has nothing to gain and everything to lose.
All the top teams in Africa have to be represented in Brazil. We need to give good account of ourselves in 2014. Malawi could not even qualify for Afcon. My wish list Cote D'Ivoire, Ghana,Nigeria and 2 North african countries
