has rooney really fired since LVG found this system? apart from the goal against spurs, rooney hasn't scored as the arrow head. when he scored against villa, he was operating behind falcao......and he was the worst player at anfield.

since VP got injured, rooney has scored only 2 league goals in as many as 400 league minutes. i think we should be careful on how we handle this. VP can still be a wonderful squad player even if he cannot be a guaranteed starter anymore.
