I pray the succeeding govt after Obiano take the overall infrastructural development of that state very serious because I envision Anambra State as a state that will soon serve as a palliative to the congested Lagos state.

Kudos to Obiano and APGA.

First set of doctors of UI? or aptly the first set of London certified doctors of UI because UI severed her umbilical cord from London in 1962.

Funny enough there is no lady among them but when you attend convocation/oath taking of nowadays medical graduates you will see the ladies carting away the prestigious awards, men we need to wake up and study.

BTW, great shot from the pacesetters in Nigeria medical field.

We still need more medical doctors in the country.

That's the Nigerian dominating spirit on display, the confidence that exudes all Nigerian that is misconstrued by our fellow African brothers.

Nigerians don't settle for less and they always strive to stand out amongst the crowd.

Lovers of TStv in the house, which of their channels are you fascinated about.
Below are the ones I so much love.

Nova: A great channel for the youths, the movies (even cartoons) and music on this channel are so exciting.
Hit TV: the music channel for foreign music.
Hit Africa: their music channel for African music (latest music).
Grande Gospel: soul lifting music.
AHTv: for healthy lifestyle.
Mama Africa Igbo: not just the movies but the exciting programs put in place to promote the growth of Igbo language.

Those are my favorite channels, others of notable mention are

Grande Comedy, Grande Sports, MBC actions.

Yayi TV and Woo TV are already there for EPL live matches (although not all match per week).

The problem with them that they need to fix is their inconsistency online and frequent scanning for updated channels aside that they are OK.

I love their picture quality.

TStv a nascent indeginous cable TV has come to change broadcasting for everyone to have access to it.

Politics › Re: Photos From 59th Independence Day Celebration With Buhari In Abuja by christejames(m): 2:49pm On Oct 01, 2019
There is nothing to celebrate today but rather reflect on our retrogressive growth as a nation.
When you look at the Asian Tigers of today and the awe-inspiring development they have achieved over the years (with dictators as leaders) and juxtapose same with Nigeria that got her independence almost the same period with them, then you will weep and curse all those leaders that their actions and inactions contributed to the trudging growth of this country.

Nigeria, a giant that is in deep slumber, when are you going to wake up and take up your role as a Big Bear? will you sleep forever when some minnows keeps snarling and growling awkwardly just to mock you?

Wake Up and clear the pathway for the continent to be seen.

Ironically, one of the Asian Tigers is also celebrating their National Day today (China).

I think the south east are really doing well in the football business and growth in Nigeria

then the south south to some extent

Aside MFM fc (which is privately owned) I don't think there's any other south Western club in the top tier in Nigerian league

All hands need to be on deck for sports to thrive in Nigeria. No matter the location

I believe a good and healthy sporting atmosphere in the country would go a long way in reducing unemployment and contributing positively to the economy

Kudos to Rangers

Why are our force men mostly mad?

shooting at an unarmed protester just because they are demanding for their right? what happened to the use of water canon, rubber bullets and pellets, Shields and mounted horses used in the developed world to control irate and grumbling protesters.

I think it's high time the IG and the police commission looks into the creation of a special force trained mainly to control protest across the country. We all can't be mad at the same time na.

Why would they want to arrest him? to gag him from speaking the ills they perpetuate in name of governance?
If anything to go by the report, it's even more appalling that the so called govt is even patronising him to launder their battered image.

They should rather send him to rehab or an asylum home for better care and not just foolish attempt at denying him his fundamental right.

The videos shows when she clearly deviates and quickly reminds them that there cant be an AFRICAN economic trade without stopping the xenophobia and killings in THE COUNTRY
Thanks for that buddy.

Although most Nigerians won't easily accept that especially after her poor attempt at damage control, she should just apologize and like Jim Ovia, leave that place immediately, or is it the tea they serve them at each meeting that is still 'tortoring' her?
Politics › Re: Before You Criticize OBY EZEKWESILI- WATCH This!!! by christejames(m): 11:41am On Sep 05, 2019
What about those that don't have enough data to stream that video or still managing data?

abeg, highlight the important scenes there or better still transcribe what she is saying in that video thanks for your concern.

BTW, what would we call our own way of targeting this SA multinationals companies, cause I don't see it as 'looting' per se but rather a subtle way of discharging our own displeasure, disdain for the act, so it should be aptly termed 'Xenoshoptlifting' thanks.
(not in anyway supporting their actions sha but just the name of their actions).

So cause he is the Senate President that automatically makes him Midas? that everything he touch turns to gold.

Well, this is Nigeria where the ineptitudeness and malfeasance from our public office holders is seen as a norm by the populace. That school and most schools across the country are like that but we will keep waiting until an indegine from such community reach an exalted position before we complain or grumble.

The campaign of calumny from us the youths is graduating into classic (classic docility). We better become woke now, and take our destiny in our hands and join the humiliation of public office holders, if they hold or arrest us back home here whenever we complain, we should just wait for them outside the country where their immunity ends at the border.
