I just lost a contract I am handling for my friend who does Upwork. It's really painful as I don't usually meet up with the dead line.
I believe I am too lazy and weak. Just the most recent I was working on, I was thirty articles behind.
I become so tired writing these short comments on blog, 20 daily.
My heads seem to tear apart now I am ready to die in it and the contract is called of.
When writing, tears usually fall from my eyes, my head would ache and i would leave the work for days.
I dont know if malaria and typhoid are the cause or am just being lazy.

Dude. You are not being lazy or weak. You are overstressing yourself. Never apply for such crappy work again. I can't imagine writing 10 comments a day not to talk of 20.

Try to add more value to yourself, so you can offer better service. Then you wouldn't fall behind on your deadlines or deliver shoddy jobs.

Hi Guys. So on the issue of profile rejection, I don't know what's up with Upwork.

I met a dude who saw me sending a proposal on Upwork, last week. The thing is, he was sitting right behind me in a lecture theatre, so he could get a clear view of what I was doing. At that very point, he tried opening a writer's account on Upwork, verified his mail, wrote his profile overview and submitted it for approval ALL ON HIS PHONE.

He got stuck at a point because some aspects of the site was hidden. (You know, Upwork sometimes isn't fully functional when using android).
At that point, he had to ask me for help and I was like 'What!, you really did all this within like what? an hour of seeing the site on someone
else's laptop?).

Okay, fast forward. I saw him two days later in the same lecture theatre and he told me his profile has been approved

I just got thinking of all the stress I went through to get my profile approved last year and well.....let me just let bygones be bygones.

Now, I just saw him some minutes ago, and I had a quick chat to know what exactly he did, so maybe you guys can try it out.

Here's what he said:

- He started the account opening process with the Opera Mini Browser (On his phone).
- He completed his profile description at that point.
- Filled in all the other necessary requirements.
- Submitted, and them hours later GBAM.

You'd see there really is no big expose to it. Pretty much the same basic account opening process.

So what exactly happened?

I really can't say. But, you could give it a try with a fresh account.

I should also mention he opened the account on a Saturday, between 7 and 9 PM. I don't know how relevant the day and time is to getting approved. And, now that I remember, I also got my profile approved on a Saturday.

Now, don't go getting me wrong, I am not saying profiles get approved over the weekend. I am just trying to cover all bases.

And, lastly, he didn't even have a 100% complete profile.

P.S I actually saw his approved account, so there was no bullshitting involved or anything.

HI. I use the system a lot, so I decided to go to an eye clinic in Sango Ota to get protective glasses.
After taking necessary tests, the Optometrician confirmed I had no eye issues and I only need protective glasses.
I was billed 14 thousand naira for the total cost of getting a photochronic lens or 10 thousand for the tainted lens.
So, the issue is I contacted a friend who uses glasses also and he said I was getting ripped off.
So my question is; is that the same price obtainable in the market for the same lens?
If I have to pay 14k without an eye defect, then how much would someone with an eye defect have to pay?

PS: If you're using a phone to tether Hotspot, you can further reduce the data consumption on phone by restricting background apps. That way, most of your data goes to your PC.
