hi peeps,i got 3 plots of land for sale at idimu,isheri/idimu area of lagos. the land is fenced and has 2 gates. if interested, pls call me on 08064256929. |
so much trash and un-informed talk going on here. |
@cherisa it's obvious you're still a rookie as far as music in naija is concerned. i'm not expecting people like you to get my drift. @emeka you just took those words out of my mouth. at the end, time will tell. if tuface should ask d'banj for a collabo,do you think he will tell him to go and talk to his manager? it's just so funny how people tend to support mediocrity in this country. |
it's only those who do not know music and haven't been following music for a long time that will say dr alban should call d'banj's manager. if d'banj claims he doesn't know dr alban, then i think he's a disgrace to this country. now imagine d'banj being in the uk and being asked questions about dr alban and he replies and says he doesn't know him;what do you think the media would call him? maybe someone will tell me because dr alban doesn't live in nigeria. or maybe d'banj was attending deeper life those years dr alban had hit songs and never got to watch any of his videos cos tv was forbidden. i think he has attitude problem and that's why he lost that glo deal. our naija acts should go and work on their attitude. |
i think you guys should just leave this aldon of a guy alone. i read some of his older posts on all threads that had to do with mode and he just didnt make a single sense. let him be. dont trade words with him cos there's no need to do that. |
na na na . he aint even in the top ten so how do you expect him to be messiah? thta's like strecthing a career that just started. |
Wait a minute. Is mode 9 the only rapper in NAIJA? Why on earth do i get to see new threads being opened on a daily basis just to bring him down? I have critically observed those supporting a set of rappers, and those hating on him. I very much think someone or some people must be sponsoring this. The truth is,if he's not important,no one will talk about him. Afterall,he's not the only artiste in NAIJA. Way back when he dropped it's about to get ugly,i told those who cared to listen at that time that this guy was going to be NAIJA's best. Thank God he did not disappoint me. Anyone who knows what rap music is should Pls name a nigerian rap album that is better than any of mode's album. Am waiting for you guys. At least,we all know the big rappers we have on the land. As for those claiming mode9 doesn't have a car and all that, its so obvious that it's plain jealousy they got for him. And am sure most of them don't even have bicycle tires to show off. Those of us booking artistes for shows know how much each artiste is worth. It baffles me when you guys scream and hype about certain artistes being so paid. You can fool the poor spectators watching but not the gaffers. We select the players you see on the pitch! |
Sorry for the mix up. My post is meant for damiecool and not julian1. |
@ poster: think you'll need a tanker of bleach to wash your head cos you ain't thinking straight. Where on earth did you get the idea that m.i has killed mode9's career from? Na people like una dey make nairaland useless with such silly posts. How do you wake up one morning and start posting isht like this? It's so easy for jobless guys like you to pull down other people's images. Each time i get on nairaland, its the same thing. They did it to 2face,illbliss and a couple of other artistes whose names i can't remember now. And now,its mode 9. Pls go get a job,ok? Stop misleading people with false info. |

a movement for the change and total re-orientation of Nigerians as a nation. a movement that intends to take the destiny of the youths in its hands and fight for what is rightfully ours. a movement that says Nigeria is great and can be the best nation in the world. a movement that intends to turn Nigeria into an ideas powered nation rather than being a certificate driven country. a movement that says young men and women should be supported to actualize their dreams at an early age. a movement for change in our social and economic status. a movement for the restoration of our moral values and cultures as a nation.a movement for the upholding of equal rights, justice, honesty, transparency and freedom to live as humans and not slaves to our corrupt leaders. its a movement for freedom from the chains of poverty and oppression. CHRONIQUE RECORDS NIGERIA Our company Chronique Records Nigeria is an emerging, purposeful and target oriented entertainment outfit with excellence in satisfying our clients’ needs. Our clients are drawn from the corporate world and public sectors of the Nigeria economy. The company was formed in 2006 to promote music content, the music industry, brands and most importantly, to re-orientate the average Nigerian through music. It has supported some musical events across the country and its high time it organized its programs, building on the goodwill gained and short comings observed in the industry. It also wants to re-orientate Nigerians through a diversified and all en-compassing seminar/summit which will include various areas like Education, Information-Technology, Business, Telecommunication, Oil and Gas, Nuclear Technology, Entertainment, Mass Communication, e.t.c. Corporate info: Tel: 08064256929, 08099342008 www.facebook.com/chroniquerecords. INTRODUCTION: The above catch phrase/event name has been coined out of five different words namely: education (edu) information technology (info), business (biz), telecommunication (tele) and entertainment (tainment). These are key areas in every nation’s economy. This summit is therefore being organized to touch all these areas and some other areas of the Nigerian economy. Other areas will include oil and gas, nuclear technology, mass communication and agriculture. The overall objectives of the seminar are to train and enlighten Nigerians, most especially the youths in these areas. They need to know how important it is to take up a career in these fields, how important these fields are to the nation’s economy and what it entails to be a professional in these areas. A situation whereby graduates of Yoruba language are working in banks, micro biologists are working as marketers for insurance firms, zoologists are working at I.T firms, e.t.c. doesn’t augur well for a nation like ours that aims to be among the top economies world wide in 2020. @dbayman boy,if you can throw stones that can touch the skies, you'll probably get the chance to throw jabs that can soothe my jaws |
each time i pop in here,i hear infants crying, if this is the new hiphop,i'll rada be their nannies. |
mode9!!! definitely naija's finest. my favourite naija emcee! spits lyrical intelligence! and of course,am a gunner fan too. what more can i say? go mode, |
Your rhymes would pass for tears from an infant, guess you'll do better dissing teddy bears and doll babies. |
@mykali am like jaja, the king of opobo, your girl tells me that you's the king of okobos. |
you're coming to battle me but what i see is a rotten corpse, what you actually need is them vultures to come eat you up. |
Skillz is the founder of backbone music. He used to be known as jjc and he formed the group called jjc and 419 squad from whence d'banj, don jazzy,mp and the rest of them came out. As at the last time i checked, he had a record deal with i think sony music or emI. Am not too sure again which it is. He has produced joints for some international acts like jamelia,j.lo and i think missy. You can google him up and find out more on him. That's all i can say for now. |
its on use trying to defend nico or support timaya. some months back,we used to listen to a sick song called maga done pay and the guy used to be the toast of so many people abi? where im dey now? who knows his whereabouts? talent will surely speak for itself anyday anytime. lets leave timaya alone and let him be. as for those who do not know nico gravity, its obvious you guys didnt join the industry early enough. you probably joined a few years back. |
@ megastreet: its not in every thread that you bring up a mode9/ruggedman issue. If you don't know jack about that beef, just keep mum instead of sounding ridiculous. It's embarrassing reading that line. As for nico gravity,he held it down at a.j in his time. You just shot yourself in the head by saying he dissed timaya for fame. How many people did rugged man diss to get fame? Am sure you can count up to 5. Don't say nuffin. Mode9 never dissed rugged for fame. Just enjoy the game as it is being played. Its notin new to da game. |
