Ladies with intellect and wisdom would prefer a businessman with a vision. I was born into a family where my both parents were bankers and worked in the banking sector for over 60yrs combined together. Despite the fact that my dad worked with CBN,barclays(in the UK),FBN and my mum worked with cooperative bank and FBN,I still hate the banking sector and can't work there. Reason is that,my dad hardly had time for his family. Always moving from one place to the other. I'd rather burn my energy building my own business where I can dictate what happens,than answering yes sir to someone else for a 30 day salary. At times,I can do just one transaction,and earn almost half of what they pay the full staffs in the oil company,and far above what the bank boys earn in 30 days after waking up 4am and getting home 9pm in 30days. I can earn that in 30 mins or 1hr work a day,and still have time to do so many other stuffs. I studied accounting but can't work for anybody,irrespective of the salary involved. I'm like a bird that cherishes its freedom. If a lady wants me to pick up a tie wearing job cos she feels it's more prestigious than what I do,I'd gladly buy her a bottle of johnnie walker so she can keep walking away,far from me.

For example, I don't care if you are self employed or a company staff. All I want to know is that what you are doing is legal, you are well connected and determined to succeed and that you have a good head on your shoulders.
In fact even if you have a regular salary job, I don't care if your salary is 20 million per year, I like guys guys who can be their own men. I like watching guys give orders. Having a business doing on the side shows that you are a go-getter and not likely to be broke easily. It shows you are a step ahead of your peers.

Besides who says that there is security with paid employment? That person certainly doesn't live in Nigeria!

I'm using this forum,as a veritable means of dissemination of information in Nigeria today,to pass this very important information to the presidency and our security agencies.

Have we all wondered why the dreaded boko haram sect never cease to have members to carry out all their evil attrocities,despite all the arrests and killings done by the security agencies? Look no further. The islamic schools we have around the country,might actually be the breeding ground from which they recruit their members.

Few days ago,I was taken aback with what I heard from a colleague of mine,whose car lot aint far from ours. He usually comes around to hangout in the evening with us at the close of day,and we just talk about things generally. At our lot,we have this hausa guy who fixes noodles at night for people,and He lives there with his wife and kids.
We were talking about the boko haram menace and my colleague made a statement that the son of this aboki would turn out to be one of them,when He grows up. I asked him why He said so and He told me the lil boy of about 3-4 years old,once told him that He was going to slaughter Him and slash His throat with a knife. I was surprised at that revelation and when I asked further what happened,He said he was playing with the boy when the boy told him that. I asked where the boy must have learnt that from and He said it must be from His school. The boy attends an islamic school.

Now,this is an incident that happened in a developed state like Lagos. If we have to look at a broader picture,and take into cognisance,the no of islamic schools scattered around the undeveloped parts of the north,we'd understand what we face as a nation. There seems to be a gradual indoctrination of these fanatics/lunatics,from a tender age to the adult stage. If a 4 year old boy can boldly tell an adult He will slash his throat with knife,without getting scared of been beaten,then we can as well brace up ourselves to receive more deadly attacks from these criminals.

For the sake of peace and security in this country,I think it would be appropriate that islamic schools are closed down,and children sent to proper schools that accomodates children from every other religion. This is not a case of islam against christianity or vice versa;no. This is a case of national security and I think the security of the nation,comes first before any religion.

I hope and pray that we won't treat this as a very trivial issue. More so,the activities of these islamic schools,must be thoroughly watched and monitored.

Dear Nairalanders,pls permit me to use a few bad words here as I type this;I really wish not to. These doctors are not only stupid,they are selfish,retarded,evil and devilish. Infact,they are bastards of the highest order. For people who claim to be members of a noble career,to come out and tell us they are going on strike and putting the lives of millions of Nigerians at risk,because of a trivial issue of "who and who should be regarded as consultants",is totally unacceptable. How does it affect their jobs,or their salaries? Since when did politics become part of the medical profession? In developed countries and some developing countries,you never get to hear of doctors going on strike under such flimsy excuses. Unions in different parts of the world,help to develop their nations,collectively but in Nigeria,it is something different. They think about how to actualize their selfish interests first,before thinking about service to the Nation. ASUU,PENGASSAN,NMA,NUPENG,etc, all tow the same line;how would the Nation ever move forward. Nigeria is dying fast and in the nearest future,we might become an example of "a state that was".
