Celebrities › Re: Sahara-reporters & Pm News Story On Goldie by chronique(op): 6:08pm On Feb 15, 2013
Sahara reporters and PM news, you guys can do better.

I saw a copy of PM news @ the stands this afternoon with the ludicros headline "GOLDIE DIED OF DRUGS - SOURCES". I might not be her manager nor work with her management team;however,I think this is pure "gutter journalism". Here's a lady who died shortly after her return to the country,on a day that was supposed to be a happy one for everyone of us,and whose untimely death came as a shock to fans, friends, family & colleagues. As we speak,a lot of people still haven't come to terms with the news of her demise. Publishing this story of her dying out of use of drugs, without concrete evidence,is not only malicious but callous. You don't run a headline like that without an authentic source & this authentic source has to be the result of an autopsy carried out by a competent medical practictioner. Anything other than that is totally unacceptable. I don't care if the so called "sources" sleep, eat & dine with her;if they aren't bold enough to reveal their identities, then let them keep shut! We live in a world where anything said against the dead becomes the "truth" cos the dead can't speak nor defend themselves. Not everybody who has read this Sahara-reporters/PM news story would go back to read the correct version if it happens to be false. Opinions would be formed based on lies & misleading reports & would be spread to ignorant folks who in turn, would spread it to others & at the end of the day,it would become "truth" to some people.
That aside,in a situation like this,I think dissemination of information has to be handled with tact... Until her death, she was hardworking & stayed on top of her game and it is clear for everyone to see.

Until we get a confirmed autopsy report on her death, pls let's take it and believe that she died of natural causes.

Romance › My Valentine Message To The One Who Deserves It. by chronique(op): 8:42am On Feb 14, 2013
I can't thank God enough for having you in my life cos you've been more than the love of my life. You've shown me love that no man or woman on earth has shown. You gave me all you had & when you didn't have it,you looked for it,just to make me satisfied & fulfilled. You've been my greatest cheerleader,my no 1 fan,my rock,my backbone,my everything. In love, you corrected me & moulded me into the person I am today. You gave birth to a boy & you raised a man. Despite being your only son,you never pampered me. You used the rod when it was needed, and drew me closer for a hug when needed. With you,I learnt priciples & morals & today,I live by them. Every step I take,I remember your words of wisdom & instructions. You've always believed in me even when there was no visible evidence to do so. On your knees, you say prayers for me,telling God to help you keep me in his stead. Everything I am today, and would be tomorrow, has your hands all over it. After God,you're the next most important person in my life. You got me wishing I'd find a wife who's just like you. I'd only come into this world again if it's gonna be through your womb. Any other thing is a "no deal". I could go on and on to talk about you but words can't really explain how much you mean to me. Thanks for the love you've shown me,thanks for the 3 beauties you gave me as sisters, thanks for everything. You are "MY HERO".

Happy val to my sweetest and dearest mum. I love you much!
Sports › My Take On Osaze by chronique(op): 7:37am On Feb 14, 2013
Pls,let's leave Osaze alone. Yes,the boy is not perfect but he's still several miles better than most of our players(professionally). This is a lad who from the moment he entered the national team, dedicated his services to Nigeria & gave his all. When his mates were selecting matches to play & feigning injuries,he answered the clarion call. When we lost to Angola(I think) during the 2006 worldcup qualifiers,He was the only established player(if I still remember) who played on that day. His team mates were busy acting up & selecting big matches to play in. Osaze played for Nigeria even when the opponent was relatively weak. This guy was committed to Nigeria for a very long time. He played for La louvire(belgium),lille fc(france),locomotiv moscow(russia) & played under Christian Chukwu & Augustine Eguavoen & never had issues with the team nor the coaches. He started having problem with failures like Lars Lagerback & Samson Siasia who had their own faults. The Nigerian national team at different points in time, has always had issues. We all shouldn't forget that even Okocha the then captain & Wilson Oruma weren't best of friends whilst they both played for the super eagles. Let's not forget that Osaze played under Siasia @ the olympics & there wasn't any issue between both of them. Siasia's inability to manage professional players & his pride wrecked the eagles(not Osaze). Lars Lagerback's faulty tactics & poor team selection wrecked us @ the worldcup(not Osaze). This guy(Osaze) already opted out of the team before Keshi talked him into coming back. When He made his decisions,Nigerians called him all manner of names like He doesn't have the freedom to make a decision for himself. He agreed to come back, had issues & Nigerians still wanna slaughter him;what do you guys actually want?
I do not have a doubt he's having a rough time in his career & also do admit He's made a few mistakes but weighing that side by side what He has given to the nation,I think He deserves more than He's getting currently. The same pple criticizing Osaze & celebrating these new players, would tomorrow, still slaughter anyone of these new folks should they make mistakes.

My take: let's forget about the past and move forward.
