Players are different, i never compared Hleb n Ronaldo cos i know although they play similar positions, they are different players. Hleb may not offer that many goals but i know his worth in the team, simply cos ur winger bangs in goals don't mean every winger should do the same.

I'm with u Oldie, if every one did a little something to move Nigeria foward we wouldn't be where we are.

It sure isn't a lost cause, Nigeria has so much potential and is very ripe for improvement, from where i view Naija i see all these potentials, all we need is people to pull their fingers out and start taking control, going to church mon-fri will all amount to nothing if u don't go out there and hustle

Sounds like a step in the right direction, ok fair enough the whole idea could have been implemented much better but lets not forget its the first time such is being implemented on Nigerian roads so they should be given some room for error.

- I do believe school kids should travel for less or free, it's not fair letting them pay the full fare.
- The standing thing isn't so bad, lets not forget that the reason this scheme was introduced was to battle congestion and its no suprise that people are standing in order to get to their destination, as long as the buses are kept clean and a set number of people are allowed to stand (Nothing more) then its not so bad
- As for buses breaking down, i hope they have some kind of breakdown tow scheme to tow the buses away else it could cause serious back log

It sure can work, the only problem i see are the fares but as long as the service is efficient i don't see why people won't pay

My point is Rooney is not a great scorer and having Ronaldo playing alongside him, takes the pressure of scoring in every game off him, Ade does not have that luxury yet he has hustled and bustled all season and at one point was the highest goal scorer in th eprmiership, lets not forget he usually plays as a lone striker which aint the easiest thing in the world

We've all slatted Ade this season and its no secret that he wastes chances, i saw the Wigan n Birmingham game and a world class striker would have bagged a hatrick easily but this is Ade we are talking about, no Gunner has ever claimed he is world class.

Would rather have Wiltord (forget the age) back rather than Ali

Apart from that FA Cup match (Where Arsenal didnt look bothered) how many times has Rooney ran defnces raged without the help of Ronaldo

Ronaldo saves Rooneys butt. Let me create a scenario, say Rooney was in Newcastle, where they had no midfielder or winger who chipped in with a good number of goals, how brilliant would Rooney look then?

Ade has pretty much shouldered the goal scoring for Arsenal all season, if the likes of Hleb and Rosicky had chipped in half of what Ronaldo scored wouldn't Ade be the messiah, Rooney is a hustler no doubt but take Ronaldo out of his game and all u have a a hard working 10-14 goals a season striker (Hardly brilliant huh).

MU is Ronaldo and without him y'all would struggle, he makes life easy for ur strikers thats why Tevez, Rooney n Saha are hardly under any pressure

Ali this and Ali that, why didn't y'all buy him, he had a good run last season along the guy with the fake Brazilian passport and the both of them together were nothing short of useless, 9 seasons at Arsenal and the only major contribution i ever niticed from him was the mauling of Liverpool in the Carling Cup, give me Ade anyday of the week

Ade has contributed a lot to games he has played in, always distracting defenders from the runs of made by our midfield players
I'll have Ade over Ali anyday

Strikers are bought to score goals, fine contribution matters to a certain degree but goals is what wins games and strikers are paid to put the ball in the back of the net, something Ali couldn't do to save his life while at the Emirates

Poor string of results, we really need a goal scorer and someone has to step to the plate and start dragging the team single handedly if possible. The league if far from decided, all this means is that we need to get results from OT and SB which i sincerly feel we can do, United still have to play Liverpool n Chelsea, so points can be dropped easily, Chelsea are looking menacing all of a sudden, i think one thumping from us and another from God knows who will shut them up for the season.

This could have been much easier but i guess we need to stand up and be counted as men.

ARSENAL FOR THE PREMIERSHIP

Hmmm this CL draw is one kind o, shey Abrahmovic bribe UEFA again they get weaker opposition but don't write off Fernebache so soon, they are stronger then Barnsley afterall.

Anyway we get Liverpool, this is very tricky, they are HOT at the moment but i don't see why we can't quech their fire, stop Torres and Gerrard from playing and they don't have any other match winners, Toure should be fresh from his rest to deal with Torres and the Flamster should be able to do one over Gerrard, i'm not very worried about the rest of the Liverpool team (maybe Babel) cos they are mostly average players who shouldn't trouble us on a good day.

The only thing tht really worries me is the fact that we have to play them 3 times in the space of a week, seems like something might have to give. Bring it on all d same

Last time i saw Uche play was against R.Madrid where he scored the winning goal bout 2-3 wks ago

Both are not in the CL but in th eUEFA cup, i havent seen either play but the fact of the matter is that strikers are bought to score goals, which the Yak has done in abundance, non of them have set Europe alight in the UEFA cup so we gotta use their respective leagues to judge them no matter the opposition they face on a weekly basis.

The Yak doesn't only score, he's used as a battering ram for his team and creates opportunities for his supporting players (I can't believe i'm singing the Yak's praises) but its quite obvious the Yak has been more consistent than Uche

I'm not putting all my eggs in Liverpools' basket if u want to get something done, do it ureself, having said that the last time u met liverpool they were blowing hot and cold now everything they touch seems to be turning to gold.

Chelsea have to come and win that game right, we've seen what happens to teams who come to play football against the Arsenal this season, Chelsea will be no different, we'll end that run

The names u listed may not have scored too much when they were crowned (but i bet they all scored more than 5 goals) but they all went on to win trophies that season and were probably influential in their teams performance.
