Pls how best do I dispute an order I'm yet to receive and delivery timer has run out. The item was shipped through Singpost. The closest post office to me I was informed is no longer functional, so I don't even know where next to check for the parcel. As time is up I have to open dispute.

Amdman please reply my messages on WhatsApp. If you can find time to post here, I see no reason why you won't spare a few seconds to reply me.
It's quite a frustrating experience. Even when he chooses to reply, he does so skipping some requests. It's about a month now I made requests both here on nairaland and whatsapp, but no reply. The moment I get a reliable alternative, he loses a potential customer.

how do i know the one that fits the gen.?
and is it a thing i can just plug into the gen or i need a technician

You can do it yourself if you get the right spanner. The AVR is located on the coil chamber just close to the exhaust pipe.

what is wrong with my gen. its working but light no dey enter house. the meter wey suppose read 220v on the gen no work sef

The AVR should be the culprit. So you may need to change it.

Hello house.

Can someone give me a direction to the stores around owerri one can get tec junior gen
It's not available in the thermocool showrooms (wedthera, okigwe road)

Check Eddy Brown Electronics, along Port Harcourt road, adjacent Owerri Girls Secondary School. Bought one there sometime ago, but not sure if they have stocks at present.

change it to any of the conventional one, buy the one with screw not permanent sealed

Thanks a lot, but the conventional ones have a different screw thread for connecting to the tank. They mostly have one that matches the Sumec type of Tec Junior.

Pls, who knows where one can buy the fuel tap for Tec Junior Max. Mine recently started dropping fuel even after locking tightly. All stores checked say they don't have it.

Seems the new top up option (Account No as description) of Stanbic MMF comes with delays. A top up done at 9am is yet to be reflected (6pm). Is that the way it works?

Well done friends.

Pls, will a transfer to Stanbic MMF account and upload to the Web platform (evidence of payment) be reflected on one's account? The top up is less than 50k.

Hi guys,

I noticed a few members made posts about being interested in the stock market but not understanding it and also not being able to follow the discussion in the thread on stock investing.

The truth is stock investigating requires a certain level of financial literacy higher than what is required to invest in TBills and the ability to analyse companies and their annual reports.

If you do not have these skills the probability that at you would lose your investment is very high. However if you are interested in investing some time to do some reading and studying I can post the links to 2 very good, easy to read books that explains how the stock market works and also how to analyse company results. They are written in a way that even if you do not have a background in finance or accounts you will understand the books easily.

However as this is not a stock market thread, the house will have to permit me to go ahead to post the links here. The material is free.

Pls post the links; will really be helpful. Thanks

Does anyone know how long it takes to get money off stanbic MMF after applying for online redemption?

It takes maximum of 5 working days, but from experience it took less than 24hrs. The redemption order was placed in the morning and by evening, the fund was already resting on account.

For the sake of not derailing the thread, I'll plead we tone down the tempo on this cryptocurrency debate. Oga feelamong has already done some justice on enlightenment in one of his investment threads. We can do our independent cross-checks with Google as well, but let's keep this thread on it's original track.

Thank you. Two branches visited in Port Harcourt refused to accept anything below #50,000. Is it possible the minimum principal requirement varies with locations?

Pls, what's the minimum principal for investment in Stanbic IBTC Money Market Fund?
RealityShot:
Yes.. Stanbic MMF

MMF=money market fund is a type of mutual fund that invests almost all the available funds in TBills.

Mutual funds are of various types..
equity/stocks funds,
real estate funds,
etc

Just do MMf and you can withdraw your money anytime after 30days..

same 18+ percent interest rates..

no need to be worrying bankers with TBills Terminations

You can update Eco Bank BVN by dialling *326*9# then input your BVN in the prompt. From my experience it worked swifter at night.

Don't know about other banks, but for the two times I've invested through First Bank that was the way they did it. I guess that's the normal procedure.
Then for your interest, it will be payed immediately after the auction- probably Thursday or Friday.
So dear the money will be deducted from your account even if the auction date has not yet reached and you have given a written order deduct the t.bill fund from your account( for my branch though).

Unless if after the auction and you didn't receive your interest, then you should go and file a complaint in the bank.

This is 2cent. I stand to be corrected though!

Okay. Thanks for explaining. I'll probably wait to see if I get credited by Friday or next.

I appreciate the great investment gurus in the house. Please, I have a little question to ask. I filled a Tbills form with First Bank just a day after the last auction instructing them to debit my account for today's auction. The fund was debited two days later without receiving the interest upfront as expected (The alert specified it was for Tbills on a 91days tenor) . I assumed probably the fund needed to leave my account against the next bid. However, I called the officer in charge to verify the position of things, but he has not been picking my calls. I serve in a very rural area, thus it will take serious planning for a journey to visit the bank again. My question is :
1.) Is it right to deduct funds a week plus to the auction date?
2.) Am I not meant to receive my upfront interest today suppose my bid was placed today and it was successful?

I don't know how true this is cos I asked our state accounts officer after his briefing yesterday (13/11) and he said he was not informed yet. Even if such provisions will exist, it will be used for improved feeding on orientation camps.
