Thanks bro, the seller is being honest, and told me told me the ABS issue in newer cars makes the transmission rough, I decided to seek opinion of experts on NL before going to inspect with a mechanic later today..

true. In newer cars, it makes the transmission rough. That said, the abs sensor is not expensive. He should replace it. If you so much love the car, get an abs sensor, fix and test run the car. If transmission is smooth, pay and carry your car.

Not always true for some cars

always true. Please cite examples where a 2015 car has lower duty than it's 2014 model.

I really don't understand why you are very stingy with pictures. Is it that you can't snap or what?

when quoting the price of 2016 might be when the duty was at 35percent without NAC

But when NAC came in there changes

this was the quote. April 27th 2023, barely 1 week ago. NAC had already taken effect since late last year.

Sell it off

I once had this issue with the same car. My rewire scanned the car and told me the accelerator pedal was bad, we ordered for new pedal and the issue got fixed. He also warned that on no condition should I allow any mechanic to manually adjust the slow of my car, that it's automatic and it resets itself automatically because big daddy has an issue with slow anytime the battery terminals are removed.

what is this "slow"?

Labragadaya:
I bought a 2002 Toyota Camry as my first car in October and for the first 2-3 months the car performed pretty well.

However lately, from January it has been one problem to the other.

From overheating to coil problem to spark plug problem and others.

The recent issue with the car is that the car doesn’t hold slow anymore.

That is the car goes off at slow speeds. I’ve changed coil, changed spark plug, ringed engine twice all to no avail.

This has caused a huge hole in my pocket as I’ve even had to borrow to pay for some of these repairs.

Just yesterday in a bid to resolve this issue, I took the car to another mechanic and he told me my engine block had washed and that even if he grinded the valve the holding slow issue won’t stop. I inquired about the cost of replacing the block and purchase alone was close to a 100 thousand. I’m just tired and frustrated, I need advise, do I sell the car or do I repair this?

Is this mechanic trying to extort me. Experience car users please advise

the problem is not the car but the mechanic and you. Have you scanned this car?

Older models are discouraged in the new custom clearing rates

true. However, 2014 and below pay same duty and will always be lower than 2015 and above. His figures don't add up. I know these things.

oliverjiad:
with #3.2m would get it cleared

Jaid

you quoted 2016 for 2.8m. Then 2008 3.2m. How?

This Enugu State governor is bad like Ikpeazu, that's if he's not worst.

All his project no dey pass 2 storey building.

this is not even his project. Was built by the past Governor, Sullivan Chime. Gburugburu couldn't equip and put it into use.

Let no one make any mistake. That complex was built by Sullivan Chime. He couldn't equip and commission it before his tenure came to an end. Ugwuanyi spent 8 years and did absolutely nothing to equip a complex handed over to him and put it to use. Ugwuanyi cannot build a structure like this. His structures are classless.
