yes, techstream can't do anything. However, parasitic drain isn't one of the hardest problems to solve by anyone who knows what to do and with the right tools. Had a similar problem on a Mercedes R350. Would drain overnight. Watched a very straightforward YouTube video on solving the issue. Ordered a tester with a probe then followed instruction and got to work with my multimeter. In less than 30mins, I discovered the culprit and got it fixed. This was something 2 electricians couldn't fix in 4 days. Internet is the most powerful tool today. But people misuse and underutilize it.

There is nothing to expose or cover here, I am clearly against Oyetola and his party maybe you haven't noticed me on this forum.
I was only trying to say a rerun was the right thing to do, which to me is still in favour of Adeleke. Let Oyetola go and prove his popularity again.
I expect you to say something about the facts of the judgement as I stated, don't just be telling us who goofed and who didn't. Tell us how they goofed and didn't goof. It is called intellectual discuss.
the electoral act mandates the tribunal to cancel fictitious votes and declare the person with the highest vote the winner. That's what the tribunal did.

Bennycollins:
Both parties according, the judgement benefitey from overvoting. Votes were deducted for both parties, am I right? Then the law should not reward illegality by awarding victory to any of the parties. Nullification and ordering a rerun should be the just thing in this scenario if true. There is a long way to go. Gladly for me and for obvious reasons, the legal battle won't end until after the presidential election. Adeleke remains governor for at least 3months.
you wanted to play the unbiased game initially but exposed yourself at the end. Adeleke will lose this case everywhere. He goofed. Big time he goofed. Maybe he would have even won without that overvoting. But man has no sense.

press9jatv:
in the section 51 of the Amendment electoral that was been signed by Buhari in February 2022, the court must not cancel the votes, what the justice in the tribunal should do is to declare rerun in the alleged over voting polling units. Pdp said there are 6 polling units where over voting took place in the last year July 16th governorship Election 🗳
did you read what you posted? Did you see court or tribunal there? What is there is presiding officer at the polling unit and that refers to events on the day of election. Did you readbthe part that says no return and declaration should be made? Was adeleke not returned and subsequently sworn in? That section has nothing to do with tribunal. You guys should learn to read and understand. Don't read with emotion.

Don't confuse yourself.. Oil in Nigeria is sold in 4-Litre gallons, not quarts..

Secondly, full oil service of any vehicle including the GX460 includes a full drain, change of filter and refill .. I don't know where you get the notion that an engine can require different amounts of oil for a full oil change.

To fully service a GX460, one needs 2 4-litre gallons of oil.. Its OK if you must deceive yourself or be stubbornly ignorant.. But please don't deceive others.
I know you use fake synthetic. The original ones come from U.S and come in 5quarts. Those that come from Europe such as mannol and liquimoly come in 5L.

abia don get problem. The runner up in the last primary that produced ikonne will go to court and is likely to win unless the new electoral law states otherwise.

Since you are so sure no GX460 uses 2 gallons of oil kindly tell us with certainty how many litres you sabi say e dey use.

And for you to say that full synthetic is at most 30k shows you don't even know what you are talking about.. There is a Mobil 1 5W20 that goes for upward of 50k presently..

As to your issue about labor cost, you think a place like that should charge 5k for Labor, especially if its a late model GX?

And no.. factory recommended full synthetic oil is guaranteed not for 6 months as you said, but 7500-10,000 miles or 12 months, whichever comes 1st.... Of course in your hurry to quote me, you didn't see where I earlier questioned the 4-month oil change duration given by the company.

Try dey understand talk and verify your facts before you begin talk.. The fact that you are even questioning that a GX460 uses 2 gallons of oil shows you have no business in this discussion.
I repeat, no gx460 uses 10quarts of oil which is 2 gallons of synthetic oil. It uses 7quarts which is 1 and half. Next service, only 1 gallon will be needed.

Not bad for an oil change, especially if its a late model Lexus GX

Nothing extravagant about it.. Na our naira don cast
the way everyone claims to be rich on social media is alarming. 90k is too much for an oil change every 4 months. It's a rip off. Which oil is he using? Synthetic? At most 30k for 5 quarts. No GX 460 uses 10quarts. Even at that, its 60k. How much is filter. How much is labor. Moreover, that oil change interval should be 6months.

Assuming there is over voting in X unit.
Accreditation= 300
Total votes = 400

PDP 200
APC 150
LP 50
Since you suggested that 100 votes should be removed. My question is, from which party? If from all, how do you determine the number? You're creating more problems in an attempt to solve problem
if he fails to understand this as simplified, then he has a problem.

How did they know there was over voting if the over voters did not vote for a particular party, the over voters must vote for a particular party for it to even be counted as votes in the first place, what invalidates such votes is the accreditation with the BVAS, since we know the parties they voted for because you can't vote without voting for a party, simply deduct the invalid votes that was given to any party that was voted for by non accredited voters...
how old are you please?

how do you determine the party that has the overvote? U can only prove that there was overvoting in a polling unit. You can't determine which party did the overvoting. So cancel all votes.

Look there is over voting in both sides, both pdp and APC over vote. The thing is pdp own was more. There was vote reduction from both candidates. In the original results the pdp guy scored 403k while the APC guy scored 375k but now, the APC guy has 315k while PDP guy has 270k. So there was over voting on both sides. quote author=Brendaniel post=120441339]

After finding out the method used for the judgement on the election tribunal that gave victory to Oyetola over Adeleke, I would say it is a recipe for disaster, the method applied was cancelling all the votes of a polling unit because of over voting in that particular polling unit.

The questions I ask are:

1. As it happened that there were over voting in various polling units in the Osun election, what if each opposition connives to perpetrate over voting in polling units in each opposition strong holds?

2. What then is the use for BVAS in over voting if after the BVAS is able to identify the number of over votes only to end up cancelling all votes(valid) and over votes(invalid)?

3. If there is an election tribunal like this and a rerun takes place, what if the same over voting keeps occurring over and over, would they keep repeating the election tribunal process and back to rerun again?

In my opinion, the law is just an error or a purposeful scheme to rig an election using what I call reverse voting
Just simply tamper with your opposition strong holds and invalidate their votes, So we might be having a case where a carefully selected and protected minority will determine winners of an election instead of the majority carrying the votes.

Implications:

1. It will make elections become very dirty because politicians will be all about scheming to invalidate votes in opposition strong holds.

2. It will make the voters lose confidence in the electoral process, because a voter will not be sure if his vote will be invalidated or not by someone else scheming with a politician in his/her polling unit.

3. It will make voters wear out easily and may cause voter apathy when you have reruns after stressful elections, thereby reducing voters turn-up in reruns.

4. It may not reflect the true will of the people and also reduce the total number of voter participation, just like the Osun election tribunal, the total number of votes cast for both PDP and APC after the cancellation doesn't reflect the true will of the people to declare Oyetola the winner.

5. Elections will cost more because of Tribunal, reruns and time wasting.

6. It could lead to anarchy and total chaos, like in some volatile states in the north where they riot over political results, just imagine after election and INEC says they have cancelled over 20,000 polling units across the north which were all stronghold of a particular candidate, because of over voting of less than 2000 voters, imagine what will happen in the aftermath of such news.

Solution:

In situations of over voting, Why not just deduct the invalid votes(over votes) and count the rest, the BVAS already identifies the number of over votes(invalid votes), doing so, INEC will avoid a lot of election tribunals, scheming by politicians, reduce cost of doing reruns, make more accurate results, increase voters confidence, reduce time wasting, reflect the true will of the people and avoid anarchy.
these are elementary questions with very elementary "solutions" you proferred. How is overvoting done? How do you think APC will manipulate form EC8A at the polling unit in a stronghold of pdpand vice versa. How do you determine from whom to subtract excess invalid votes since all the parties are voted for. In a rerun, there can't be overvoting. There is actually nothing like"overvoting". It's inflation of results. Such result will not tally with the BVAS accredited number. Reason it's termed "overvoting". The court was right to cancel the votes.
