There is Ika in Delta state, then Ika i.e Ika annang in akwa ibom state
No. The Ika people of Delta State are a sub-group of the wider Igbo nation and are completely unaffiliated with Ika, a town in Ibibioland. You call yourself Ika but don't know basic common fact about your supposed roots. Sad.
ghostwon: don't worry, just keep talking the next civil war is near, how many million Igbo will die this time around. And just watch which people will be at the forefront of this war against you. My Anioma and Ikwere brothers will hold your scalp. Just watch.
Hades, please let us get this shit started. "Majority tribe", wait for it...the civil war is coming. I want my majority scalp !
Lol. Who is dis one? I no get tym for u jare. A nation of 2 million people want to come up against a nation of 49 million. Una go die the second death o. Las las warning o. I no wan jist una again. Chai omo. Dis one u dey call anioma and ikwerre una brothers. Make una try to threaten umu anioma or umu ndi ikwerre. Una go burn lyk burna boy. Onye nzuzu!!
There's nothing to see in this video. Trust me if you guys want to try any rubbish, we are seriously warning you oh. This one dat you cut your hair bold when your oba dies. Una go remain permanently bold.
ghostwon: So your response is a bunch of nonesense. You post some white people's names, call them white linguists and then say they said this ... Wtf is wrong with you and your low self esteemed person. You even talk about facial characteristics ? What is this nazi Germany ? Jesus.
Cultural practices !!! Hai, there is something wrong in your head, to the whites all our cultural practices are the same. Be it Igbo, Edo, ijaw...the same to the white.
Let me inform you that the origin of a people is not determined by linguists who specialize on the study of languages. It is determined by historians who study the passed.
You are here making threats, the Ikwere and all Anioma have already told you they are not Igbo, you just want to force your own identity upon others. I used to pity you guys, but I hope Nigeria breaks up and you guys get an other lesson which will soon come. After 3 million of you guys were killed and I felt pity for you, you are the ones trying to force others and to make threats... You have started it again, the next lesson will soon come. You will watch how Anioma and Ikwere will join the fight against you the southeastern predators.
The way Igbo just feel it is their right to force other people.. This is nauseating and I really am getting to understand why the civil war happened. Right now I can't wait for the war to start, you will hopefully be the first person I meet on the battlefield. Congrats you have made yourselves an other sworn enemy, keep it going untill your next disaster starts again.
Don't be stupid. Igbo and Edo culture are not the same and can never be. This one that you're saying Anioma and Ikwerre will fight against us ala na pu gi. You think Chukwuka of Delta state will fight Chukwuka of Anambra or Nnamdi of Rivers state will fight Nnamdi of Abakiliki. Lol. Anuofia! Don't even try it! We are watching to see how you handle the umu ndi igbanke in Edo State. Any kakle and you guys will know that we are not a majority tribe in name only. Onyiberibe!!!
ghostwon: Nope, Ikwere and Anioma are not Igbo, they have said it loud and clear. They originated from Benin I don't know Etche, but I am pretty sure they too are not Igbo. You guys are just like the Yoruba, you go around adding people into your tribe. People whose history you don't even know. The civil war should have taught you guys in the southeast your lesson already. Stop the land grabbing !
Nope. It's only around 20% of the Ikwerre and Anioma that believe that they are not part of the igbo nation. Don't be deluded. They are definately not part of the Edo/Benin in any shape or form. White explorers/missionaries such as Sarah Tucker and William B. Baikie classed all these peoples as members of the Igbo nation in speech, behavioural/facial characteristics, language, cultural practices ie. "Aboh (Agbor) was the first Iboe (Igbo) town we reached. It is on the western border of Iboe country. The Obi and his son Tshuku-ma (Chukwuma) welcomed the first white people they had ever seen in a friendly manner and with open arms etc .............. There is great linguistic and cultural diversity amongst the peoples of Iboe country...................
The Iboe people nearer to the coastal swamps ie regions speak a markedly different dialect from those in the hinterland. This includes Ndoki, Etche, Diobu (the PH dialect) ect ect. Please don't be confused. These people are a coherent part of the Igbo nation. Make you kno now o. Any attempt to attack, annex or colonise them would be seen as an attack on the Igbo nation and will come with a severe penalty/devastating consequences for your people. Make una no say we no tell una. Make una caution (/comport) unaselves oh. Na warning be dis. I rest my case.
Your boyfrnd,He knws u are big on Tribalism, and u'll pick a typical Igbo guy over him dats obviously y he's claiming to be igbo. I strongly suggest u pay a visit to his home town,u'll b shocked wat u'll discover. However,d Anioma's are the most peaceful people in Delta State.
fero007: I b urhobo o, currently live in port harcourt, but i grew up in warri, anyway even when i was in warri i was not going to the village like that we only drive past them when travelling, me sef my urhobo na cut n nail
anoda problem I've noticed is the mentality of not only urhobo n isoko pepo, but all south southerners(save for akwaibom/crossriver pepo). Unlike the Yoruba n Igbo, the youths of the SS see their language as sumtin meant 4 d old n undope. It's normal to go a mall or youth party in lagos, ibadan, Akure n hear teens speaking yoruba or to a restaurant or club in enugu, onitsha, owerri n hear teens speaking igbo but u can't go to those places in warri, port harcourt, Benin n hear them speaking their language or even other tribes(yorubas, Igbos, etc) speaking their own language, it feels local to the SSners. Mentality problem, I use to feel that way too until i started travelling and saw that the major tribes didn't share this our menality
Don't be confused oh. port harcourt is basically an igbo city. no less than three quarters igbo.
suyu: paternally you are yoruba but culturally you will lean to your mothers side
Biko.....he is yoruba. Final. In African cultures (esp Nigerian cultures), the mum is the guardian of the child whereas the dad is the owner of the child.
Don't be foolish. I can't believe you are happy that our girls are far more likely to marry outside their tribe than any other tribe in Nigeria and 8 out of 10 of them are marriages to Yoruba men. This is a massive gain/profit for the Yoruba nation and a massive loss/negative for the Igbo nation. Meaning they're increasing while we are shrinking. Don't be foolish and boost our girls' ego (many of them being ashewos) and say igbo girls are "reign supreme". The man is the nation and the nation is the man.
Glorifiednwafor: You are very dull, you have nothing upstairs to back up your lies.
I'm telling you that internet Porn sites have all been saturated by your people and you are freaking lying through your teeth, from pornhub to xvideos to xnxx all of them are Yorubas. You don't even need to type Yoruba there just type Nigeria and all you see are Yoruba names infact yoruba girls and now the Speer headers of the industry, tufiakwa!
No wonder in your culture you sleep with your mother's, sisters, neices, aunties, married women, old women, underaged girls etc, all you think about is sex sex sex, useless porn stars..
Yoruba girls don't stand any chance of getting married outside yorubaland but Igbo girls stand a huge chance outside Igboland, is that not a sign that Igbo girls reign supreme as compared to Yoruba girls?
missyblissy: Amaka's parents must not go unpunished. They should be persecuted for the death of the poor girl. This is really useless. What's wrong is dating and marrying a yoruba man. Am married to a youruba man and if I have missed him eh ah whala for dey I tell you. Parents should learn to live with the decision made by their kids. Killing her did it change anything
topboss1: . Igbo girls today are a disgrace to their mothers and grand mothers, truth be told. Even aboki dey take I get igbo wife insult their tribe. Every Tom, dick and Harry . Just 100 naira
freshvine: I don't think it was because of tribe but religion. Muslims doesn't give out their daughters in marriage to Christians but will force the hands of Christians parents to marry their daughters. What you can't give, don't collect.
The parent should've relocated the girl back to the east and in few years the infatuation will fizzle out.
I wonder the mentality of Muslim parents. Why force a minor under the care of her parents for marriage against their wish. While the parents of the girl are trying to inculcate discipline and moral to their ward, they go about forcing what not ought to be.
The girl parents may be culpable for her death, but she'll answer to God for being disobedient, fornication, and yoking with unbeliever including destroying her entire family because of preek.
degamemaster: My friend talk what you know. Would you have allowed your Muslim daughter to come closer yo a Christian boy talkless of dating him? Why are you musims so hypocritical like this? Every yoruba family wants their son to marry or have a baby with an IGBO girl but would fight to death to prevent their daughters going the Igbo ways.
To the girl, she found what she was looking for since she refused to take her parents advise.
Anioma is Igbo. Biko o. Chukwuma Nzeogwu who was from Delta State was an Igbo man gbonkwem. Don't start this your wahala.
Ebenezar2020: Because I'm neither Igbo nor Yoruba. I'm from Asaba in Delta State, Anioma by Tribe from the Anioma Ethnic Group , South South and a Niger-Deltan
I don't think its that easy to leave your family like dat o
AwkaetitiBabe: The Amaka should have taken her wellbeing into her own hands and left her family.
I've seen an Igbo woman who married a Muslim, so it shouldn't b worth d stress. Everyone should have the right to pick their religion or partner they choose to spend d rest of their lives with
