Well, I don't know for other. At the port of entry, they asked for just my passport to check visa and then CAS.

Yeah. It took me two week to get my CAS...10 working days more or less... It could be more because of covid

I have been following this thread for months and I got my visa approved sept 11th, biometrics aug 20. Ikeja Lagos center. I dint get a BRP mail or decision letter in my passport, however I got a tier 4 student visa. What can I do? Should I be worried?

You shouldn't be worried anyways. As for the BRP, I believe you can sort it out when you arrive here.
Decision letter is not as important as the visa itself.

How many days did it take to be granted after the interview?

Between 23rd December and 7th January. Remove 25th, 26th, 1st and weekend. Maybe like 7 working days.

Yeah.. I was called for a second interview.. the interview lasted for 90mins. Still got my grant. No biggy..

Well I flew Turkish early this year. It's very cool but their food won't be enticing to you as a Nigerian.. That was my only regret. Onboard entertainment, transit and the flight in general was very smooth .. I'll recommend it if you mind the food..

Hello ya'll. I've been a silent follower in this forum. I'll tell my story but I'll keep it short and simple.

So I was refused canada, USA and Australian study visas even though I paid full tuition for each of them. I decided to try uk. Went for my interview on the 21st of November 2019. Was called for a 2nd interview on the 23rd of december which lasted for more than 1 hour 30mins.
God being faithful, I just collected by passport this evening and visa granted.
I didn't wait for everything to show green when I was tracking it.as soon as the 4th one turned green, I went to VAC.
Never give up.

Yess, depending on the school, you'll need ielts.. And yess you'll mess to pay part tuition before you'll be issued confirmation of enrollment without which you can't apply for a visa...

I am a silent follower and Allihamdulilah my grant just dropped this morning 9:40am, minutes after I checked my immi account my agents call to inform of the grant and I rechecked Lo and behold status has changed to finalised.
Timeline;
Biometric and submission May 2
First contact from CO June 14, asked for a clearer and coloured copy of my passport data page, it was submitted same day
Second contact from CO June 19, asked for explanation of previous visa refusal to Canada and that was submitted on June 21st.
Grant landed today 9:45am

School : University of Adelaide, no SOA and English test submitted

This is to boost the morale those still awaiting their grants, Godwilling it will all end in praise

Hello everyone , I intend to apply for an admission and I was told by the principal partner of the university representative that I won’t be needing bank statment for the visa application and he had a student who recently went to Aus not quite long (which I confirmed ) without bank statement for visa application. Although the guy paid the whole semester fees in Nigeria before he applied for visa .. so the university representative told me to pay the semester fees to the school as well and I won’t be needing bank statement.. how true is this info please ?

The guy paid a whole year tuition or a semester tuition. Which one.
I've also heard something like this but it was for an AL1 university.
