how many days after you submit your application would you be asked to come and do your biometrics?, or is it possible to do it the same day?

You can't submit your application without taking biometrics, unlike d online route

Hello fellows, Please i will appreciate if anyone help me with this issue. If one is denied visa in one of the EU/Schengen countries (not UK), is it necessary revealing it in the Canadian Study visa application? I mean..., do Canadian immigration crosscheck/share bio information with EU/Schengen countries?

Lol..... I know exactly what you're thinking of. U wanna say you've not bn denied visa to any other country on one of your IMM forms. I laugh, e be like say 5 years ban dey hungry u. Don't worry, when they ask you to send them the reasons why u lied about bn denied visa in the past, pls don't come here and tell us u don't know what to reply them ooo. Cheers grin grin grin

Good evening bosses with due respect.vv I need an advise from you guys.

My Dad isn't having a good amount to sponsor me. However he thought of using his brother in Canada as my Co sponsors. (my uncle). Apparently We all bear same surname.. Or he should use his close friend whom has a very good fund in his account..

Help a brother guys. I'll appreciate your quick response.
I feel involving your uncle in Canada means shooting yourself on d foot. Giving them the impression that you have a relative there ain't gonna help, cos they'll feel u already have ties to Canada. Just my thoughts though:::::: I could be wrong too

Okay u pick up your passport once you're called for medical test?

Nah, dint say that. You're called to pick your passport after a final decision as bn made, I mean whether you're getting your trv or yeah

Does this indicate your visa has been approved?

I think you can't tell whether your TRV has bn approved or Nah, from your cic portal account. I think they'll only message you to go pick up your passport @ vfs(paper route applicants)pls o, if I'm wrong, someone correct me grin grin

You welcome, fam. To be on a safer side, go there with that white slip that was given to you @ vfs, alongside the coloured photocopy . JUST INCASE

I just called two panel physicians to book a medical appointment and was told I would need my international passport or a stamped scanned copy of my passport from the Canadian embassy. The challenge now is that I submitted my passport to vfs with my application and I wasn't sent any scanned copy.

Kindly advise on how I should proceed

it's easy. When u submitted your application @ vfs, a colored photocopy of your int'l passport data page was given to you, for what you would use to show as evidence before taking your passport after a final decision has bn made. Make another copy and take it for your medicals. Cheers, mate

Hello everyone, thanks for all your informative questions and replies. i have just been refused visa for a PGD program in canada on grounds of finance, so i would like to know if reapplying makes sense because my sponsors are my parents, although my dad has retired, there is enough funds in the accounts of both father and mother. i also would like to know if paying my full fees of 23kcad might increase my chances and lastly, can it is possible after my reapplication another reason if brought up for my denial cause right now only the finance segment was ticked. Also any other information or tips as regards to the reapplication would be very useful. Thanks for your anticipated replies.

Get your gcms note first.

Please what's the best method of applying for study permit (like tested and trusted one) paper application or online application
Use paper if u have lots of documents to submit (I did paper route cos bank statement was over 800pages, and there was no way of compressing it into 4mb) Bottom line, none, none has added advantage. Cheers mate

They don't. They take your bank statement at face value except the statement is not looking authentic or something, they verify its authenticity. Many schools in the USA give out admission with even no bank statement shown, an affidavit of support is good by their standard. The USA embassy doesn't even contact any bank bank. Your interview happens all within 3 minutes, you know your fate.

They do.

Hello bosses, please I will like to kindly find out if a school in the USA which requests for your bank statement before admission intends to verify your statement even before you go to their embassy after admission.

Thank you.
Yeah, the school contacts the bank before an admission decision is made

Good day Gurus in the house... Please I need a candid advice. I was denied US B1/B2 visa few months ago and presently I am making plans to apply for the Canadian student visa with the aim of going for a two year post graduate diploma in Engineering, I have HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Distinction). In my US application I claimed the status of being married, so as to be granted the visa but in real sense I am still single. I don't know if such could affect my visa for a Canadian student visa, since I don't wish to claim the status quo of being married. Please kindly advice me.

Bruh, kindly declare you're single when applying for a Canadian visa, trust me ..when your name is cross matched with other countries' embassy, what's gonna pop out is you bn denied visa, but other details and information won't reflect. because if u have to lie that you're married, that means u will have to forge marriage certificate, and do fake photos, which I feel ain't worth it( trust me CIC are gonna find out that it's fake) God forbid, you may then be look @ 5 years ban

Cheers mate

1st address the issue why you keep getting a refusal.

Secondly, minimum tuition fee for UG courses / programs in Ireland is EUR 9,500 - 10,000 per year.

Silly visa agent messed me up.
