johnydon22:Or worse, we might get to a time when an animal can maul a human and just serve a jail term. When men would marry gorrila's like Harambe and bear kids. It just might get worse. |
Explorers:Ha. Ok. Thank you sir. |
Explorers:Sir. Your first statement, is it a proven fact? If a gorilla doesn't harm you within 10 minutes of coming in contact with you and doesn't beat her chest. Does it mean we can then assume and be sure that we are 100% safe? That statement to me is just an assumption because no one was in Harambe's mind, she could as well be delaying what she wanted to do because of the on lookers. Maybe there were other reasons. I do not support the killing of endangered animals on an ordinary day. But, I think Harambe's death was justified. This was clearly a case of human or animal life. Harambe may have unwillingly mauled the child. Did you notice the way the child was being dragged up and down. That is hard for a full grown adult, let alone, a child. I think you are looking at a one sided possiblilty here. As much as the child may not have been killed immediately. That doesn't mean at the end he wouldn't be killed still. The tranquilisers that take immediate effect may not have been within reach then. Would you hinge your argument on the lack of those? I saw your post on the lady that lost her eyes and hands to a chimpanzee rampage. I do not want to believe that it is only when things have gotten to that extent that the killing of an animal may be justified. Worse still, I do not want to believe that you have not considered the life of the child who was in the enclosure with a wild gorrila. I wonder, if people would have actually preferred the death of the child to the death of Harambe. God, we are talking human. Sire, that child could be anyone's child, imagine it. |
Roland17:Sire, asides animal rights and everything. I want to understand why does who are calling for the zoo and parents head are doing it. Please, is there any proven scientific research that says if a gorilla doesn't harm you within 10 minutes, then it will never harm you? Probably, the darts that were able to tranquilise immediately were not available. The Zoo was faced with, human life or animal life? They chose animal life, I don't get the outrage. It's not like they went on a shooting spree and decided to kill Harambe. I saw the video on CNN, the way the Gorilla was dragging and pushing the child with feeble bones, in an enclosure filled with rocks. What if the child's head had come in contact with one of the rocks? With that force it will be instant death. I don't want to believe that humanity is driving towards an era where animal life would be valued more than that of a human. Even humans are killed when it is necessary, talk more of an animal. In all these, it seems the 'justice for Harambe' agitators are not even considering the possiblity that a human child may have died in the process. I wonder if the poor child had died, would it have sparked media outrage like the death of Harambe did? You mentioned trying to distract the gorilla, what if that hadn't worked and the child paid the ultimate price instead. Let's be open and consider every possiblilty here. I would love to hear from you, thank you. |
Lord. Heal Audrey for us. Her story is touching many hearts. We need her. Please, in Jesus' name. |
Yesterday night was good. The viewing centre where I watched the match was filled to the brim. Though there was light in my area, boys and girls thronged out to watch the match in the closest viewing centre. Through out the match, the kind of insults Athletico Madrid players recieved due to their percieved lackadaisical performance was enough to induce someone into depression. They said things like. 1] Come oh, e be like say Athletico de play to win champions league Spoon. Abi them no show them the cup before match start? 2] I know say Griezmann go miss that penalty. Him village people call meeting for him head yesterday. 3] Oh lawd, Ronaldo no de see ball play today oh. Abi him make him team mates vex for dressing room, them no come gree pass ball for am. 4] Athletico use Juju win Barca. How them take pass semi final sef? Come de play like children wey get polio for final ??The high point was after the end of the extra time. During the penalty shootout. The Athletico madrid keeper wasn't diving at all. One guy took it upon himself to investigate why, he went close to the T.V put his glasses on, stood there scrutinizing the screen for a minute or two. Turned to us with a resigned gaze and said '' make una no vex for the guy, e be like say na statue Athletico carry come match as keeper.'' At the end, some people were happy, some were not. I, on the other hand, wasn't excited or sad. I learnt a lesson from it. Both sides didn't play very well. But the better side eventually won. Athletico failed to prepare for any eventualities, I believe they didn't prepare for a penalty. So when it came, they didn't perform well. Morale: if you are embarking on anything, prepare for the worst as well as the best. Anything can happen. If you fail, go back to the drawing board. There is always a next time. |
The best team with a good goal keeper won. Athletico should go home, do a thorough homework and come back. |
Google63:And I quoted you. See? I have never and won't eat my words. |
Google63:Oh yes I will. Check your mentions. |
Penalty shootout ![]() ? Real Madrid has won. Quote me at the end of this penalty shoot out. I don't eat my owrds. |
RobinHez:Hahahaha. Results would be chaotic. Very. |
Oh lawd. My antennae keeps picking up penalty shoot out signals. |
RobinHez:I just pray your prediction remains a ''what if'' |
Athletico should fight tooth and nail to make sure this match doesn't end in a penalty shootout. If it does, they should kiss the trophy goodbye. |
Extra time has begun. |
Extra Time. |

Nice meme. |
RandomVic:You are definitely in the South eastern part of Nigeria. Why is EEDC joking with us like that? Now I don't know how that magic happened. |
Sadly, it has been sealed. |
Mediapace:I noticed she wasn't miming and her voice sounds exactly like it does on record. A rare thing I think. |
I think I am going to be alive to see the first champions league final where the loosers don't cry. Athletico won't cry when this match ends, because they obviously didn't put in there best. On a softer note, I think Real Madrid players are mostly beard team members. Those who can, keep a well trimmed beard. |
It's official. I give up. It will be disgraceful for Real Madrid to lift the cup with a 1:0 win. There was and still is ample time to score. What the heck is Athletico doing? Oh Lord of the unhappy, help the unhappy.... |
SuperSuave:Hahahahaahaha. Wicked. |
Strawman:Hahahahaha. Calm down sire, he will be loaned to QPR next season. |
jinha:Yes, next season maybe. |
Athletic Madrid is not serious. Why, they're playing like this is a pre-match mock training. Who cares if they have more possession? Who, has possession helped? |

Athletico Madrid fans would be cussing Griezmann now. I promise, he deserves every bit of it. |
Did someone miss a penalty kick in a champions league final? How on earth did this guys get to the final ![]() |
2nd half starts. I hope the Athletico Madrid coach has told them what's at stake. No more Jonsing..... |
SIRRDIQ:Go Tv? They doing us proud now. |
Half time. Let the arguments begin........... |
