Victor Ikpeba (Prince of Monaco) - Victor Ikpeba (Prince of Monaco) represented Nigeria at the U-17 World Cup in Saudi’89 and their coach (Sebastian Broderick) said he’s the best player he ever managed. He was part of the Nigerian team that won gold at the summer Olympics in Atlanta’96. He won the Belgian African Footballer of the Year award in 1993 before he would win the CAF Player of the Year award in 1997. Christian Chukwu - Defender Christian Chukwu led the Nigerian team to the 1980 African Cup of Nations which they won on home soil and he was the best player of the tournament. He played in three consecutive African Cup of Nations from 1976 to 1980. He is probably the best Nigerian defender ever. CHRISTOPHER NUSA OHENHEN - Striker Christopher Nosa Ohenhen popular known as "Ohen-hen", was a Nigerian retired footballer who played as a striker. He spent the vast majority of his professional career in Spain, with Compostela Football career Born in Benin City on (born 14 October 1970), Ohen began his career at Julius Berger FC, then left at almost 19 for Spain. He had participated at the 1989 FIFA World Youth Championship, where his three goals for Nigeria attracted the attention of Real Madrid. After two years playing solely with the club's reserves Ohenhen moved to SD Compostela, where he scored goals at an impressive rate: in his third year he netted 13 as the Galicians achieved a first-ever La Liga promotion. While at Compostela he was called up to a preliminary Nigerian squad for the 1998 FIFA World Cup but did not make the final cut. After a loan to Turkey's Besiktas JK, Ohen's final years were highly irregular, and he also dealt with injury problems. (source Wiki)

ABIODUN OBAFEMI (DEFENDER) Abiodun Obafemi was part of Nigeria's Gold Medal winning team at the 1996 Olympics born 25 December 1973 in Lagos. He played most of his career in Germany [ SSV Reutlingen (1997–2000) and FC Augsburg (2000–2001)]. He had two national appearances for Nigeria.

ALLOY AGU Alloysius Uzoma Agu is a former football goalkeeper from Nigeria. The number one choice in the early nineties, he played 28 international matches for the Nigerian national team. He was brought to the 1994 FIFA World Cup and the 1994 African Nations Cup as a cover for Peter Rufai. Agu retired at the age of 30, after having spent most of his career in Africa. NDUKA UGBADE As a youth player, fresh from St. Finbarrs College Akoka-Lagos, Ugbade was captain of the Nigeria U-16 male soccer team that won the1985FIFA U-16 World Championship. Four years later in the U-20 category, he was also part of Nigeria national under-20 football team at the1989 FIFA World Youth Championshipthat placed second and won silver medals in Saudi Arabia. Nigeria lost to Portugal in the final match, but Ugbade and his teammates were the toast of the day. After his immensely successful youth football career, Ugbade featured in the Nigerian national team for some years, but was plagued by injuries and poor form in the later years of his career which denied him of the opportunity of starring at the 1994 World Cup. source....Wikipedia 2 Likes

TESLIM BALOGUN He was the first player to have a hat-trick in the competition, in Pan Bank's 6-1 rout of Warri in 1953.[2] After originally touring with a Nigerian select team in 1949. During his time in Nigeria, Balogun won the Challenge Cup a total of five times in seven finals. HENRY NWOSU A gifted midfielder, Nwosu was the youngest member of Nigeria's victorious 1980 African Nations Cup squad, and scored the only goal for Nigeria at the 1980 Olympics. SAMUEL OKPARAJI- Greatest footballer of all time Samuel Sochukwuma Okwaraji (19 May 1964 – 12 August 1989) was a professional footballer who played internationally for Nigeria. He was also a qualified lawyer who had a masters in international law from the University of Rome.[1] He collapsed and died of congestive heart failure in the 77th minute of a World Cup qualification match against Angola at the Lagos National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos State on 12 August 1989.
