Hi,
This is Oliver Twist again asking for more "bread" or advice rather.
My laptop HP Pavilion dv6000 is at it again. I just had Windows 7 installed on it after the vista code could not be broken,so i decided to try the new windows 7 coz of its 1derful effectz and after reading most of the reviews on the OS here on nairaland. Much said,just a day after i got the new OS installed, i was working with the lappy when all of a sudden the screen just went gaga,so i switched it off,turned it back and the screen wouldnt come on again. If i switch it off and on back again,the power would light up as if its booting,the screen would still be blank and after some secs or maybe a minute,it would just restart by itself,boot 4 a few secs and restart again but without the screen coming on.
Pls what seems to be the problem again this time. Help ohhhhhh.

Bro,Please how do you use your battery doubler to increase your battery life,Mine does not seem to work at all.
My battery lasts 1,20mins tops even with d battery doubler installed,its still d same 1,20mins,abeg which magic u dey use for am.

The laptop is a used laptop i bought some time ago,so it did not come with the original OS cd,but there is a key at the bottom of the laptop. Do you mean if i run a basic vista OS( pirated as we know),would the key under the lappy work for it being that the OS is not the original OS?

Hi Landers,
I recently downloaded the much talked about Laptop Battery Doubler to do a test trial,but i really don't see the effect of the doubler on my battery.
Before installation,the battery lasts for 1hr 20mins tops,after installing the doubler,it still doesn't last longer than the 1hr 20mins it used to be. I rrally do not see the effect of it on my battery,or is there something i need to know about using the battery doubler?

I am back again with another problem.
After i formatted my laptop and got it working perfectly,i couldn't get the key to activate the vista.I used the key on the basic OS that i installed but it wouldn't work,I later installed Vista Ultimate and still the key wouldn't work. What can i do as i have 26days before it expires.

You all have been very very very very very helpful. I want to thank and HUG YOU ALL, MUCH LOVE.
I finally used a HDD case and retrieved all my files before taking it to a repairman who re-installed the vista OS and partitioned it appropriately,back up,HP recovery n the Local disk all separated. I didn't even lose one file, ALL THANKS TO YOU ALL.

I ran the Packard Soft like u advised and it passed the disk test but with w/o error message so i guess that means i really might have damaged the disk.I am planning on copying out my files and re-running the vista OS. My fear is would i be able to get most of my files and docs and have my drivers working normally and does a counterfeit OS works fine?

The bloody lappy won't respond to the f11 key.Continuous pressing and it still shows the bloody BOOTMGR COMPRESSED message. I want to use d software like you posted,since its a packard bell would it work on a HP Pavilion? i hope the packard stuff works.
