Reports from Okigwe in Imo state came to me by a Chuzzyblog reader that a man was burnt to death for stealing a bike.

The source however doesn't know the name of the man yet. I will suggest that people should stop taking laws into their hands.

The Head of Department (Information Management Technology) - of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Dr (Mrs) Felicia Eze was kidnapped this morning in her home in Ihiagwa Owerri. She's said to be one of the best Head of Departments in FUTO. The kidnappers are yet to make contact with her family.

I have called the school to confirm and it is true.. Anyone with any form of contact to her family can call and let them know the situation

Veteran Actress Joke Silver's mum, Dr Marienne Abimbola Silva has died.

She died peacefully yesterday morning July 19th. She was 89 years old.

Dr Silva was the third female doctor in Nigeria but the first Nigerian female to bag a medical degree. She became an OON (Officer of the Order of the Niger) in 1979.

She's survived by her children and grandchildren. May her soul rest in peace...Amen
