Drogba threatens Cote D'Ivoire Didier Drogba has threatened to stop playing for the Ivory Coast following the reaction of fans to their World Cup qualifying defeat to Cameroon. What a cunt. Doesn't he know that football fans everywhere over-react in the heat of the moment? One of the occupational hazards of playing the game. |
A suivre. My French is broken at best, but the gist here is that the Angolans are accussing us of bribing the Algerians to throw their match! Source |
Makinwa actually scored. You will be able to see the goal on Goal's Galore once the Serie A schedule is complete. |
Goofs for Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith * Continuity: Anakin's scar on his right eye changes, the part below his eye moves slightly down and lengthens. * Continuity: During Anakin and Obi Wan's final fight, bodies on the floor appear and disappear between shots. * Continuity: When Anakin arrives at Mustafar he tells R2-D2 to stay with the ship. As Anakin walks away he puts his hood on. His right hand (his mechanical hand covered by a glove) has somehow turned back into flesh again. * Audio/visual unsynchronized: During the opera on Coruscant, you can hear the sound of people cheering and clapping, but when the audience is shown, they are all sitting still, hands in their lap. * Continuity: When Mace Windu gets on the air transport and tells Anakin to stay behind, the shadow of the vehicle disappears in the shot when Anakin is seen alone, but reappears in the next shot when we see the vehicle take off. * Continuity: During the scene where Padme in her apartment and Anakin at the Jedi temple look out across the city toward each other, the position of the setting sun and the direction of its light across their respective locations is not consistent given what we are shown about their relative positions and the directions they are facing. * Continuity: The pearl shoulder straps of Padme's dress disentangle between shots. * Incorrectly regarded as goofs: The button Padme pushes to start her ship near the end of the film is the same "magic" button that has two functions in "Attack Of The Clones". It's shot in exactly the same way and is a deliberate joke. * Continuity: In the final sequence on Tatooine, when Obi Wan is handing the infant Luke to Beru, he opens his cloak to bring the baby out as he approaches her. This is first seen in a long shot from above. There is a cut to a two-shot, and he opens his cloak and extracts the baby again. * Continuity: When Anakin is choking Obi-Wan, Obi-Wan is holding his own lightsaber, then it cuts and he's holding Anakin's lightsaber. * Continuity: During the scene when Yoda enters a room to confront Darth Sidious and knocks the two guards unconscious using the force, the position of the guard's bodies shift during their fight scene and are positioned (conspicuously conveniently) out of the way. * Revealing mistakes: When Sidious is knocked back by Yoda in his office, the stunt double's hand is visible. Sidious's hands are old, wrinkly, and his nails are dark. But this hand is perfectly healthy and much larger. * Continuity: After Anakin has choked Padme she falls to the ground and her right arm falls out in front of her but in the close-up, her arm is resting across her stomach. |
Keep it up Niggy. I find your tutorials extremely useful. https://www.juventuz.com/forum/images/smilies/thumbs.gif |
Time and time again , you will get players that are club material but not National Team material. Aiyegbeni is one of them. Akpoborie used to be like that too. He could not muster up much on the National team. They should stop inviting him and let him concentrate on his club career. |
Fixing a rally after giving people 2-3 weeks to get used to the new fuel prices! NLC give me a break. |
I don't know where I am |
I hate all this money talk... We need the reserves and we need to boost them. The problem remains that there are no checks and balances that work in this country, so we are not guaranteed that the reserves will remain in place at the end of the Obasanjo administration. |
Greatpeter:Sorry, typo. |
A couple good and bad notes from the EPL: Man United and City finished up 1-1 and Reyna supposedly had another good match. After the first few weeks Reyna was the best player in the EPL, supposedly. Borough beat Arsenal 2-0, so another difficult season is ahead of Dial. Midfield is suspect there.. Fulham drew with Newcastle 1-1... Brian McBride scored once again and has three goals thus far in the EPL. Owen did not score on his debut. Tottenham and Liverpool played out to a scoreless draw...what's going on Benitez ![]() And Chelsea beat Sunderland 2-0, extending their winning and clean sheet streak to five games in the new season. It will be another easy title for the Blues again and I wonder if they could possibly go the season unbeaten.. |
I can't believe that I forgot that this topic exists... DE-KING:He designed the flag. |
But make we talk true, to overhaul police na work o! |
---------------------Lev Yashin------------------------- ----------Franco Baresi---Franz Beckenbauer---Gaetano Scirea-------------- ------------------------------Daniel Passarella--------------------------------------- --------------Garincha---Pele---Zinedine Zidane---Alfredo di Stefano--------- ---------------------Diego Maradona------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------Gerd Muller----------------------------------- It was extremely difficult coming up with this one, and I had to almost tearfully omit such luminaries as Michele Platini, Omar Sivori, Paolo Maldini, Cafu, Roberto Carlos (notice I chose a 3-5-2 formation), Ferenc Puskas, Zico, Careca, Socrates, Roberto Carlos, Nevile Pumpido, Jorge Burruchaga, Claudio Cannigia, Paolo Rossi, Bobby Charlton, the list can go on forever... Lemme see if I can name 3 of the greatest ever per position... 1: Lev Yashin (URS), Nevile Pumpido (ARG), Peter Schmeichel (DAN) 2: Cafu (BRA), Lilian Thuram (FRA), Johan Neeskens (NED) 3: Paolo Maldini (ITA), Roberto Carlos (BRA), Gaetano Scirea (ITA) 4: Daniel Passarella (ARG), Joseph Guardiola (ESP), Marcel Desailly (FRA) 5: Franz Beckenbauer (DEU), Franco Baresi (ITA), Guiseppe Bergomi (ITA) 6: Willy van de Kerkhof (NED), Alessandro Nesta (ITA), Laurent Blanc (FRA) 7: Garincha (BRA), Jorge Burruchaga (ARG), Careca (BRA) 8: Diego Maradona (ARG), Marco van Basten (NED), Rivaldo (BRA) 9: Gerd Muller (DEU), Emilio Butragueno (ESP), Ronaldo (BRA) 10: Pele (BRA), Zinedine Zidane (FRA), Johann Cruyff (NED) 11: Alfredo di Stefano (ARG), Falcao (BRA), Jarzinho (BRA) Notice that I put Maradona as a support striker, watch Argentina-England, and Argentina-Belgium from Mexico 86 and you will understand why. There are still names I'd like to add to this list, but... |
BTW, it ended 3-0 in Luanda. My analysis much later... |
Alright, now I am off to watch CIV-Cameroon. Don't like that cunt Drogba, but I hate Cameroon even more. Forza CIV! |
What the doubters don't seem to understand, is that should we fail to make this WC, we would have to start rebuilding from scratch, and with the NFA we have, that is asking a lot! |
A goal back from Gabon who have headed a ball wide off an empty net will do our cause a lot of good! |
obong:Africa comes from Publius Cornelius Scipio Africanus. The Roman general that first brought what is today North Africa under Roman control. He was the man who defeated Hannibal... Niger comes from the Latin word niger meaning black, incidentally the same root word that nigger comes from... |
Goal was disallowed. Still 2-0. Makes no difference though. Greatpeter, check ya email. |
Rwanda played OK when they had a chance... Nothing like pride in African football. By the way, 3-0. I am stopping this stream make I go joint go watch CIV-Cameroon with boys. This is torture! |
Doesn't look good for Nigeria. I wish we had project managers handling our affairs than political clowns. CCC should have been sacked after the Rwanda draw as that was the match we had to win at all cost and nobody saw the dangers of a mishap in Nigeria. Poor risk evaluation may cost us this ticket. Only fools waits for damage to be done before reacting. We have not learnt anything yet and this might be a classic time to re- evaluate how we prepare in the future. In a competition like this, all matches are important until you cross the winning line. Everyone expected Nigeria to be about 6 points clear of any team in the group by the time these last 2 matches were being played and so we would nave just needed a draw to qualify. Note that we went to Angola with a depleted team and would have been better going to that match and done better with a top Nigeria club side as the team Nigeria presented was extremely poor and we lost by a lone goal scored in the last 5 mins after a Joseph Yobo blunder. Angola has worked hard and deserve their position. Nigeria has no organisation, no captain and no team. Our hope is that our boys win today. If they do not, and lose, it will all be over! Angola will not have to go to Rwanda! We need at least a draw to stop the poping of champaign bottles in Angola! Hard work is neeeded to achieve and not talents!!!! Half time..... Angola 2 - 0 Gabon |
And now they may well lie down and die because of Zimbabwe's result. Zimbabwe have won 3-1, so Gabon is out of the Nations Cup as well! |
The way this game is going I don't know how Gabon is going to score because it doesn't look like they are controlling the game |
Nope. 2-0 |
Greatpeter:Angola 1-0 Gabon |
Stream is back. Gabon just scored an own goal. |
