Fussbot: guy/babe..dia is nothing like a "sweet or happy polygamy" even if they all dn't live 2geda...only if u come 4rm a polygamy family u'l undstnd wat am saying...4rm xprncMy dear, there are very happy polygamous homes out there...trust me. I have been there too. |
souldust: As much as i do not agree that you shouldSpot on!...Seconded! Going by the current state of relationships among young men and lades, coupled with the fact that the ratio of men to women has women more in number; it is glaringly sad to know that if every man decides to wed just ONE lady, then so many ladies will remain unmarried. I am sure this is not what you want for your daughters and sisters. God Himself would want every woman to be happily married...if she chooses to. To me, Polygamy is not a crime...so long as the ladies are MARRIED by the men. |
all4naija: Most of them are likely to be impossible with aggressive Nigerians! Sorry. Nigerians need to change. We can start from u. What stopped you from simply commending the write-up if not that so-called "Naija" thing in u? |

Truckpusher: Gullible Nigerians will swallow everything about this story hook, line and sinker...smhOya Thomas, tell us d real gist...or is it all lies? |
This is the kind of suggestion that would emanate from someone from a barbaric and backward country. What he did was egregious but why should his manhood be cut off? We are living in a civilized time; this is not the dark ages. I bet you are a Christian. Idiiot.
What has Chritianity or religion got to do with this? |
@ davidylan By ad hominem, I meant "attacking the personality of the person that I am debating with instead of the points they raised." I claimed that God was a wicked, evil, maniacal, capricious, and genocidal character. Evidence: He hated Esau but loved Jacob. He claimed that He is God, visiting the iniquities of the fathers upon this children, up to the fourth generation. The Israelite are His favorite people, to the exclusion of other humans. When they worshiped idols, He burned them to death. He killed the innocent first born males of Egyptians in order to punish them. He ordered Saul to smite the Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they had. To slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass. And did you know that Canaan was inhabited by humans before the Israelites took over. This is what Jehoavah commanded them to do: "Only in the cities of these peoples that the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, you shall not leave alive anything that breathes. But you shall utterly destroy them: the Hittite and the Amorite, the Canaanite and the Perizzite, the Hivite and the Jebusite, as the Lord your God has commanded you, so that they may not teach you to do according to all their detestable things which they have done for their gods, so that you would sin against the Lord your God" Deuteronomy 20:16–18 Mr Davidylan, you should concede that, indeed, your God is exactly as I have described. All these things He did---and many more---are documented in the Bible. I really don't like to get into discourses about the existence of God or not. It is a futile one. But my major problem has been cognitive dissonance. I pleaded with my parents to explain to me how a God that is merciful and pure could do all these evil things. Why would I want to serve such a God? When Jehovah witnesses knock on my door, I ask these same questions. I asked my pastors. No one could answer. Some flatly said, "Man shouldn't question God." Others said, "The ways of God are mysterious." I cannot serve such an evil being. Even when Hitler was slaughtering His children---six million of them---He did nothing.
Satan has indeed taken over the little minds of men. God help us! |

Takwa Bay wouldn't be a bad idea too. U get to experience a boat trip, jet skidding, beaching and stuff. You've also got the option of making it private or public. La'Campaigne Tropicanna is another option but ur pocket will surely feel it. Took my wife there during our honey moon...was crazy fun. They've got the best beach I have seen in Lagos so far. You get to fish, hunt...in fact, do stuff you only get to do in a typical African village. The last time I went there (2011), the cheapest tent (3-bed tent) went for 50k/day with all the services u can grab. They get to teach u their tradition too...greeting and stuff. They even have their own currency (the name just skipped my mind) which is 1:1 with the naira. If u want to enjoy ur stay there, go with ur close pals who wish to share same experience with his or her family/folks. I had 4un...trust me! |

CFCfan: European champions, Chelsea will battle South American champions, Corinthinas FC (Brasil) for the right to be called FIFA World Club Champions. That cup is going no where else. Chelsea is bound to lifting a trophy this season. |
ypzilanti: I do not agree with you. Most people do not like flying and only do so out of need. Usually due to time constraint, bad roads, and safety from kidnappers and armed robbers. These people do not fly chopper from Maryland to Lekki every time the come to Lagos, even though the helipads are available.Gbam! |
