Car TalkRe: What Car Would You Buy For Your Wife? by Chynx(m): 10:40am On Dec 12, 2012
I will buy her a brand new Toyota Venza. That ride is cool, coupled with the fact that it is a four-wheeler. It would confidently take on any terrain plied by jeeps and co; while maintaining its sleek sedan-ish style and high speed balance. Note also that it is Unisex; making me a co-driver too. grin

dmcdad: Well, I detest to think about such situation cuz unfaithfulness in marriage is something I detest passionately.

1. First is to confirm the authenticity of whatever way I got to know. I'd make sure I'm sure of it and to do that, I'd work my way into catching her red-handed (don't ask me how I'm gonna do that. That would be a piece of cake to do), plus the fact that I can be very patient in order to satisfy my inquisition. After confirmation, my initial thoughts would be; how long has she been doing this? The thought of this alone brings about infuriation. It would put me into deep imagination of what must have conspired.
2. Upon getting to know this, I won't react negatively at the outset cuz I know how to control my emotions. Buh, inside of me will be full of resentment and anger, which I might not show.
3. I would still continue the marriage cuz I don't believe in divorce (just not in support of it). The thing is, I would NEVER trust her in to-to again and the stigma would always be engraved in my heart. Depending on how much pain it causes, I might be forced to go against my policy of filing a divorce ASAP.
4. The guy involved wouldn't be my concern, and I don't pour my anger on someone I ain't directly involved with. That doesn't mean I won't have a bad feeling against him, buh would never do anything to him.

Generally, I'm a no problem kinda guy and I'd make sure I try to satisfy her as much as I can. You can slap me at a public gathering and I wouldn't care much. You can do one thing or the other and I'd overlook. Buh, to embrace infidelity, it's only God that would determine if we can continue to live under one roof... I pray I never encounter such plight. I'd rather remain single than face such situation.
Nice one pally. You seem to be a very nice man, but my dear; when stuff happens, then , will u get t know exactly what u are capable of. Like I said earlier, woe betide that guy if he happens to be a friend of mine. MONSTERS ARE MADE not born.
Certain rumours are ofcourse true, but when you entirely base your purchase decision on such;its either you are just lazy or allowing yourself remain in the trap.
To this end, u are very correct. I am currently stuck with the Toyota corolla syndrome as we speak. I want to buy a serviceable and everyday car and all fingers seem to point to the Toyota called Corolla. I have used a couple of cars but have'nt bee lucky with durability despite my good maintenance culture. My last two cars were Volvo 460GL and Nissan Altima respectively. sad

Good thread...but not completely on point. In every molecule of rumor, there, resides an atom of truth. Most cars termed "problematic" often fail to surprise us. Same thing goes by the leopard and its spots. smiley

Following the sequence of ur questions, here are my answers:
1. I'm not certain about what would do on in my head, but deep within, I know we are in for some deep shit.
2. When I get the proof, I would approach her (quietly) with my findings feigning indifference and acting as nicely as she always admires.
3. Then, I would calmly and lovingly tell her "WE JUST HAVE TO CALL IT QUITS DEAR" (hugging her in fake tears) and wishing her luck with her new life.
4. If he is a stranger, I will do nothing. I will simply advise him to stop breaking homes and be on my way. If he happens to be my friend who knows me very wellhuh Hmmmmmmmm. I will not kill him, but when I'm through with him, he will wish he was never born in my generation cos he will wish he were DEAD!

This is candid me. smiley

Oahray: True she coUld be a bit correct. But it could also have resulted directly from other things.
Isnt it possible she troubled him over his religion change? She already sounds like someone who colud do that.
There is much more to these kind of stories than what makes the news.
You have a point. It all boils down to the same issue. People seldom understand the true effect of changing one's religion. It comes along with a lot more than meet the eye.

CrimeRe: 2 Robbery Suspects Killed By Mob In Owerri by Chynx(m): 8:53am On Nov 17, 2012
Dr young: They came to our house around 1 a m some years ago, collected money, valuables, raped my mother and younger sister and shot my dad on the leg. When our neighbour heard the gunshot, he started blowing his siren the robbers thought it was the police and rushed out of the house; my elder brother and a friend who was visiting rushed after the last guy and caught him the others didn't know. They pulled him inside the house barricaded the door and gave him the kind of torture only Jack Bauer can think of. I provided the stick they put inside his pen.is. In the morning, the neighbour that blew the siren came to our house and saw the guy cos we don't know what to do to him again,he took him away and we never know what happened to him and we never asked cos the neighbour was a retired army guy. While all these was going on my other siblings took my sister, mum and dad to hospital, they are okay but the psychological trauma is indelible. So in essence, if caught redhanded if you have the heart do away with them but if you don't, hand them over to the police.
My dear, if I don't have the heart, I will go and look for where I can borrow one Simple. I wont kill him o; no. I will give him a chance to live...if he can solve d puzzle. Simply tie his hands and legs firmly behind him; attach him to an engine block wait till nightfall; cruise with him to the middle of a bridge and toss the engine block into d water. At least I didn't toss him into the water...the engine block did. If he can untie himself, fine; but I definitely wont do that for him. Lawyers bear me witness ooo grin grin grin
Christianity EtcRe: ***Is Christianity Becoming Too Superstitious And Beggarly Or What??*** by Chynx(m): 7:33am On Nov 17, 2012
okeyxyz: @chiteny,
This principle the pastor is pushing is actually valid IMO.
The bible makes us understand that faith is a substance..., an evidence...,(Hebrews 11:1 KJV), He's right when he says the cloth is a point of contact.

I'm not vouching for this pastor(even fraud operates under the guise of truth), but only saying the principle is correct. It's the same principle by with tithes operate. If god will bless you, then it's going to be through an activity that you are actually engaged in, thus your point of contact. It may be through work\business, studies, friends, family etc, It should be a "path" that you thread rather than something that has nothing to do with you. This is the faith.
My dear, there is this question that remains unanswered..."how do you know that you know?" Most of the pastors we have these days are out for the benjamins. Most people are so brainwashed by these fake blokes that they in turn, influence others with same syndrome. People now buy land, build churches and rent out to man-made/self-acclaimed pastors! Tithe money no be here o!...do the maths for 2000 church members na...monthly. Why all man no go open church? As for me, I mostly deliver my Tithe in person to either orphanage homes, hospital wards (patients) or just render help to the poor. If pastor no fit manage the sum total of our daily church offerings, make him go dive rock! God sabi all man heart.

CrimeRe: 2 Robbery Suspects Killed By Mob In Owerri by Chynx(m): 5:53am On Nov 17, 2012
Please everybody cannot easily come to a compromise jor. Lets make it fair: If you know u would rather spare an armed robber after doing whatever to you or your family/general public, say 'aye'...and if u think otherwise, say 'nay'...cos we need these robbers "who deserve to be set free" to know their safe havens. As for me, I didn't purchase my Reiz Magnum to shoot at birds!
CrimeRe: 2 Robbery Suspects Killed By Mob In Owerri by Chynx(m): 5:46am On Nov 17, 2012
PapaBrowne: My own prayer for you would have been that while you live your house someone would accuse you of something you didn't do and you would be mobbed without the option of justice. But no, I would pray that happens because I'm not a babrbaric murderer.

You are either highly unitelligent or you didn't read the article. Because if you are or did, you would know that there was no way the police were telling the truth. No half way dead person would have the strength to tell you his hide out.

For intelligent folks out there, please reread the highlighted portions of the article below and ask questions
Have u experienced the act of "dying halfway" before? grin . Don't play with guns dear...especially wen u know that people around u frown @ d idea of brandishing weapons...u just might be weaponized!!!! grin grin grin grin
