Hello 👋 good morning nurse. I've given birth Sha but my problem is the stitches I got while delivering my baby. It's been six weeks already and the pain is still there. In fact, anytime I wash there, I usually feel something like lump abi tiny pimple like stuff there and it hurts like mad.

Sit on warm water. Just add a pinch of salt and a little Dettol.
The water should be warm not hot.
Also try and sit on flat wooden surfaces. It helps a lot too.

Try the tucks medicated cooling pads and Dermoplast pain relieving spray. I bought these for a friend a few years ago and they were helpful to the tears she had from labour. I forgot to add that you should ask your doctor for stool softener it also helps a whole lot with little to no strain while trying to do number 2.

Please mamas, is there anything I can do to reduce the stitches pains?? . I got tear, my baby also gave me tear. I was told not to sit on hot water to avoid the stitching getting loose and to avoid re stitching. Bikonu, I need help, since Thursday, I have been in pains.

The date i know is the most certain is the date given during ur first ultrasound or early scan. Thats the date around 7 or 8 weeks. Follow that date and not any later date as later date tends to change.

As for the induction,you know your body best. I think you should be patient for maybe a week and try some exercises,massaging the boobs and some natural fruit inducers. If it doesnt work,then you can be induced.

Have you thought of doing membrane stripping? Also helps in induction. Speak wt ur gynae and exhaust all other options bfor that liquid drip. It is very hot.lol

I was induced oh! Shuuu! The pain was hell but God saw me through . I put to bed on Thursday, 9th February.

Try to distract yourself and please try those things I have mentioned. As long as the doctors did not say there is anything wrong with you or the baby.When they induce you,they use artificial medicine to start labour.In my case they usually just break my water and just monitor me.They give 24 hours and if no progress then CS. From experience, they don't help you they just monitor you and might force you to be in bed which does not help labour.

Visit family, friends,rest or party if you like and baby will come soon. All not too far from home, but try doing things you won't be able to do once baby arrives.

But please prepare your body with natural herbs to help smoothen labour.

It happened to me this month. 40 weeks and no labour. I was induced this week. It's normal. But I couldn't wait anymore cos of pelvic pain. You can wait till 41 weeks or opt for induction.

Try take okra water or ewedu water. Also herbal shops will definitely have remedy.
Induction is quite invasive and artificial and might take too long as your body is not ready for labour.And could lead to CS.
Natural remedies and sex should be tried first. Hang in there ,we are here for you.

Hello everyone!

I'm 40weeks already and I don't feel any sign of labor. My scan dates are different. 1st Feb, 25th January,25th Jan, 23rd Jan, 31st January.

Two weeks ago, when I went for antenatal, the doctor told me to come back in three weeks time for induction if I don't deliver between that time I met him until three weeks .

I'm tired already! I'm thinking of going to the hospital tomorrow to be induced. I need advice my mamas
