Illimitable: Pep have spent more as a manager.
United’s spendings were under 4 managers who kept doing and undoing each other’s philosophies.
Pep has presided over a 5 year period working at the same philosophy with almost £900m spent.
That they didn’t sack him is irrelevant.
The crux of the issue is that Pep failed in England in his debut season.
Just because a man didn’t punish his son for getting F9 parallel doesn’t mean he passed his exams.
The boy still failed. The way you people brandish figures eh. Almost €900m on which players? Lol I had to quote you, cos this figure shock me. Please make your research before replying. |

obonujoker: Was Tottenham a successful side before Mourinho took over? A team that made it to the champions league final a year ago is not a good side? A team that boasts of the best forward line in the league in Kane, Son, Moura, Lamela and Bale? Ndombele, Hojbjerb, Lo Celso and winks in midfield? Regulon, Alderweireld Dier and Aurier in defense. How on earth is this team a bad one? A good coach will get the best out of these players and make them even better. So yes, Mourinho was the problem! |

DMechy: Your mechanic needs to change something else. Maybe the tyre, normally factory recommended tyre for the Lexus is Micheline. And it only rolls when you drive or push the car.
He should change the tyres. Ensure you buy Micheline, new, not Belgium. . . .
Scan the vehicle and post codes Vehicle has been scanned, no error codes. For the tyres, I doubt. I have been using the car for two years, and this only started recently. Thanks everyone for your suggestions. |

I will have to step fully on the gas before my car speeds a little. My mechanic has changed fuel pump, it stopped for a few weeks then started again. He changed notch sensor, the problem still persists. Kindly proffer a solution if any please. |

WoundedLamb: Guy, are you even reading what I am writing? It appears you're more interested in replying than in understanding my post. You left no stone unturned here on NL and like I said, that's why you're getting this positive reaction (I said this in my last paragraph). And I'm saying the moment you start removing some parts like you're asking is the moment it'll turn shady and won't be taken seriously anymore. Imagine telling this same story without mentioning crypto. It will be incomplete and people won't invest their time in half baked stories. That's why it will be better to trend the full gist online (including the crypto part) while protecting your own identity. That's my point. I don't know how else to say it. I wish you'd get your hard earned money back and be more careful next time. Good luck. Okay. I understand you now. Pardon me please. I hope so too. Thank you. |

Romance › Re: Do You Know This Scammer (Pictures)? He Scammed Me off N2.6m by CITEH(op): 5:11pm On Mar 20, 2021 |
WoundedLamb: You're the one mixing it up. Your post that you quoted while asking people to avoid the crypto subject wasn't about sharing the story with the EFCC or the police. The post was about trending this online to create awareness just the way you did here.
And I'm saying there's nothing wrong with telling the full story since your own identity is not public. Otherwise, what awareness are you creating exactly? That someone is a scammer without a tangible story to back it up?
Shouldn't the awareness also aim to let people know how to avoid such crime while trading? Besides, you said you've already reported to the police, do you mind sharing exactly how to told the story? Maybe that will help understand how to share your story without mentioning crypto.
Sir, the moment you start sharing half baked stories is the moment you become shady yourself. You're only getting this reaction on NL cause you shared a comprehensive story. The best you can do is to share the full story while protecting your identity. That way, the awareness will not only be to identify someone as a scammer but also to let people know how to avoid such scams. Half bake stories? Wow. I have shared pictures, screenshots of chats, bank documents, what other evidence do you need sir? Please kindly read my thread from the beginning. I was elaborate enough. The only way it could seem a bit confusing to you is if you do not understand crypto, thus; you can not understand how the said scam was perpetuated. I left no stone unturned. The Lovethaa guy hasn't responded yet to clear his name. He hasn't even defended himself, yet you say I'm the one shady? Smiles. Not surprised anyway. |
Romance › Re: Do You Know This Scammer (Pictures)? He Scammed Me off N2.6m by CITEH(op): 4:39pm On Mar 20, 2021 |
WoundedLamb: Nobody mentioned the police. Someone said he was going to share the story online and you are telling him to remove the crypto part (which is the crux of the story) simply cause it will create more doubts about digital currencies. In other words, you would probably dissuade him from doing that on NL too in order to protect the image of the currency. It doesn't seem like you really care about the money, you're more interested in protecting the image of the currency. And that's ridiculous. The person I quoted, said he was going to report to the Efcc. And I said go ahead, but do not include that it is a crypto transaction. Just say it's business. Obviously, you failed to understand why I said so. But some persons who have once had crypto related scam experiences, and reported to the police, they will understand why i asked that crypto shouldn't be mentioned. Even during the acquisition of court orders, your lawyer will advise that you do not state that it is a cryptocurrency transaction. There is a why. My purpose is to create awareness, catch the scammer and get back my money. And I know the police won't mobilize to investigate or arrest the scammer once you tell them it's crypto. This is from experience. So why would I encourage that guy to go ahead and state its crypto? Smh |

FatherCHRISTMAS: Don't take some posts serious. It's strange OP is trying to defend a suspect Smiles. It's fine. I have seen this play out on Nairaland severally when scammers try to be smart and divide opinions. Some of you fall for it anyway. But it's really not my problem. I have achieved one aim by posting this here; Which is to make people aware of such scams. If that's all I gain from this, it's fine. Thank you. |

Themainboy22: Trying to vindicate him instead of yourself, while still claiming the victim, is lame and supicious. I give up on your matter!. Smh. Vindicate him how? I don't know if he's the scammer. I don't have a solid evidence to proof he's the one yet. Before now, I haven't even noticed that moniker here on Nairaland. What if he isn't? Do you realize false accusation is a big crime? That Moniker remains innocent until proven guilty. So I'm only being tactful. The girl that said he's the one hasn't furnished me with the pictures he sent her yet. That's the confirmation I need. It's funny how he's trying to put me on the defensive to evade investigative questions and you are already falling for it. Please do understand before concluding. Thank you. |

During preliminary investigations, and we got the scammers photos, I felt pity seeing him look hungry in those pictures yet trying so hard to ball.
So when he contacted me to beg, I listened to his pleas and asked him to refund just N1m out of the 2.6m and i will let go of the matter. He said he would. But I knew scammers seldom refund. So I kept looking for him. All this happened months back. He keeps changing his phone numbers to evade triangulation.

I have had my lawyer write petitions to law enforcement. I have recovered some salvaged funds (585,000) by means of a court order. I only brought this here for two reasons: I might be lucky and someone gives me a lead on where to get him; To create awareness and help people avoid such scams in the future. Thank you. |

WoundedLamb: Leave out the transaction and then say what?
I don't agree with this, OP. Tell your story exactly the way it is. People need to know the good and the bad, and decide for themselves. Even before the CBN reminded everyone of their stance on crypto months ago, the law enforcement in Nigeria do not investigate crypto related scams. Telling the police it's crypto might even get the complainant in trouble in today's Nigeria. |

rinzaugustine: The reason I am against this crypto currencies are due to cases like this. Its just creates room for fraud where the government cannot monitor it This isn't entirely a crypto problem boss. Payments were made to his bank account. So the money passed through a government regulated and monitored platform. The problem is the law enforcements not seeing this as a priority because it involves cryptocurrency. And the popo here do not always want to involve themselves in anything crypto related. I was only able to get the police trailing him initially because i didn't disclose the details of the business. I just told them 'business.' Thanks for your input. |

Fxwarrior: You could have made your research before venturing into that business and controlling millions.
Do you have a website where customers register?
They register their bank details there and you ONLY pay to the bank account registered there which must tally with the name used in registering.
That's how it's done. That's not the problem boss. Adequate KYC is usually carried out before we deal with a new customer. I don't think any trader pays to a third party account. That's like a basic rule in trading and I'm not a rookie in the business. We have virtually every information about him aside from his current location. When someone is on the run, it isn't that easy to get them. Even the Efcc puts up pictures of WANTED people. That's because they have looked for them without success. Thanks for your concern and input boss. I appreciate. I'm making a plea to all Lagosians, look at his picture closely. If seen anywhere, kindly make a post here and tag me, or contact me on whatsApp. Thanks to everyone. |

The only reason I didn't bother involving the Efcc is because it involves cryptocurrency and they will get every information before proceeding with investigation.
